Bravo Company BattleComp 1.0 Compensator

Bravo Company Manufacturing Battle Comp 1.0 AR muzzle compensatorThe BattleComp 1.0 is an amazing piece of engineering!  I wanted to give folks a head’s up on a rifle part that I think deserves some attention. If you have an AR that you want to improve your ability to get a second shot (+ more) right on target this little beauty may help.

I bought an upper from Bravo Company and wanted the shortest possible barrel without having to go the SBR route with the ATF. So I found the shortest barrel and with this compensator it is just over the legal length. But that is not the point of this post.Bravo Company Manufacturing Battle Comp 1.0 AR muzzle compensator

I saw a video of an operator really able to place a second shot right on target and real quick. I noticed that there was no muzzle rise at all and his AR had a different looking flash hider. Then I watched another video where it talked about gun part specifics and it mentioned this compensator. And yes, that led me to more research on it.

All the research told me it was a good product.  When I ordered my upper from Bravo I had them do the install. I have shot it a lot.  SWEET!  I am telling you right now, even the first time I tried it out the second shot was dead on! The felt recoil was less than my Yankee flash hiders and I didn’t notice any increase in flash. There was a little (very little) more “crack” to the round but I am not sure it was the BattleComp or the 1″ shorter barrel, or some combination of the two. But the crack made no impact on me to interfere with my shooting. Standard hearing protection works just fine.

This is a must have in my book!
