TIP : 3 Tips for AA & AAA Batteries

Tenergy batteriesTip #1 : Bulk Rechargeable Batteries – I like Tenergy 2600mAh AA 1.2V NiMH Rechargeable Batteries. They are priced right and are great all-around rechargeable batteries. Duracell batteries

Tip #2 : As far as major brand batteries are concerned my preference on batteries are Duracell and Energizer. The battery brands that come in dead last for me are Kodak and Polaroid. And if your radio or other equipment can use lithium batteries then go with them because they hold their power far longer than other types of batteries.

Tip #3 : Don’t waste your time storing batteries in the refrigerator or the freezer, that is an old urban legend. However, do not store your batteries in your non-air conditioned garage or storage shed either. The heat will kill batteries. Store the batteries in your house in a nice cool dry location. Also, I put all my batteries together in one spot, a Rubbermaid 8gal Action Packer. I also put my chargers in their as well. Everything in one spot, no running around trying to find everything when time is of the essence…just grab & go!
