OK, this is the last in this series of articles. I have said all I can on this subject for now. You have either accepted what I had to say, or rejected it. Something I was to write was meant for someone who needed ti hear it. I hope I have done what I was supposed to do.
If you are the DHS or FBI agent that has been assigned to review this article you are probably just as glad to be done with it. You have probably found it mildly amusing, intellectually lacking, and just another right-wing idiot running off at the mouth. You can file your report and be done with me. Or…maybe take the next step. But, I am sure you have had no twinge of conscious. You are probably far to indoctrinated or dead of soul for that.

I want to share a really honest statement with you –
“No one thinks more of patriotism and love of country than I do, or of the men and women who have honorably served this country. I hope no one that reads this will think I am being disrespectful of any who provide honorable public service to our country. Due to the condition our country is in right now, I will speak my mind, openly and honestly ; I will not use politically correct speech. This is not the time for that. The problem is the country right now is simply a question of freedom and liberty, or oppression and tyranny. Because the question is so large, I will speak my mind and I am open to discussion. It is only through honest discussion together that we can ever hope to figure out what is truth and then solve the situation we find ourselves in. If I keep my opinions to myself for fear of being labeled a potential domestic terrorist, I fear I will be disloyal to God who reigns above all countries and leaders here on earth.
“I tell you it is natural for people to believe in hope of things getting better. Many people will simply shut their eyes to what is happening around us because the truth of our situation is painful. But, is right for people to stand up for freedom and liberty and against tyranny and oppression? Are we, am I, the same as those who can’t see what is happening to our once great country? Or, like so many in the world today, am I simply concerned with everyday life that I don’t have time for concerns of liberty and freedom? NO! As far as I am concerned I am willing to know the truth, all of the truth, even the worst of all of it and then work towards solving it.
“I am only guided by one standard, and that standard in my experience of 60+ years that I lived on earth. I can’t see the future other than based on what has happened in our country that I have personally seen during those 60 years. And, based on what I have seen from this government while I have been alive, can I justify their actions? Will any case in court solve our terrible situation and restore freedom and liberty? No. And I don’t trust the courts any more than I would trust a known criminal because they no longer follow the rule of law. Is the militarization of the police departments, are the huge increases in government SWAT teams, are the military armored vehicles that now patrol our streets, signs of a peace loving, small benevolent government who protect and serve? Have we the people showed ourselves to be so violent and extreme that these steps by the government are required for us to love and trust the government again?
“We shouldn’t fool ourselves. These preparations and militarization is for subjugation; the steps of a democracy just before totalitarianism is forced upon its citizens. Let me ask this simple question; is all of this law enforcement militarization for what? Something other than forcing us to submit to every demand of government? Can you tell me anything else it can be for? Is there any enemy inside our borders that require this massive build-up and militarization of law enforcement, especially at the federal level? No, there is no other explanation. This radical and extreme build-up of domestic law enforcement is meant for us, the average citizen, to force us into submission.
“Modern day federal law enforcement is for one thing, to lock us up through enforcing the “law”, not the “rule of law.” Enforcing the unconstitutional laws and regulations as the ruling class demands. And how can we, the average person, oppose them? Should we debate them? How about another town hall meeting? Should we email them or call them? Should we pray even more for relief? We have been trying that for years. Is there anything else we can try? No, nothing. We have tried everything we could to have the politicians hear us and change what is happening. But, they continue to ignore us. Should we just start to beg them, to plead with them while lying at their feet kissing their toes? No, don’t fool yourself, we’ve tried everything we could think of, even elections. Nothing has worked to avoid the storm that is coming our way. We have written letters, we’ve protested, we’ve begged, we’ve appeared before their committees, and asked to have rights, freedom, and liberty restored. What have we gotten in return? People have been arrested, people have been killed, we’ve been called all manner of evil names, even the president himself has called enemies of the state.
“We have valiantly tried to find hope in peaceful solutions to the problems that face our nation. But, there is no longer any chance for “hope.” If we want freedom, rights, and liberty what choices do we have left? If we don’t want to abandon our quest for a restoration of the Constitution what is there for us to do? Many say Fight! Ask God to help, and Fight!
“The government tells us we are weak and not able to win. Will they be right? Will there be a time when we will be strong enough to win? Will it be next week or next year when we are strong enough? Or will it be when the federal government completely disarms us and has an FBI agent in every neighborhood? Can we become stronger by indecision and inaction? Can we become stronger by laying around on the couch or sitting in front of a computer simply talking of hope that things will get better? Should we just hope until the FBI comes for us and either imprisons us or kills us too based on rulings from the secret courts used by the federal government?
“I say we are not weak if we trust in God and use the unalienable rights that He has given us. Millions of us who would be armed in the holy cause of restoring the Constitution and the rule of law in our country would be invincible no matter how many SWAT teams and military armored vehicles they would throw at us. And, we would not be fighting alone. God controls the destiny of all nations. Would God not help us to fight the battle against the awful condition of our country today? We don’t need just strong people to fight this battle, we need people who can see what is going on, who will actually do something, and who are brave. Since elections really don’t matter anymore, should we just give up? I say there is no submission to, or retreat from, the tyranny the federal government is forcing upon us! The boots of the thugs from the federal agencies are seen and felt on our neck every day. This conflict, this fight, is inevitable. I say, Let it come. Let it come!
“It makes no sense to draw this out, to hear people simply cry for change, or cry for peace. There is no peace. They already arrest us, imprison us, and kill us at will. They have already started this conflict, this war! Do we wait until the DHS armored military vehicles come for us, or until the SWAT bullet enters our brain? We already have patriots and constitutionalists fighting the fight, our brothers and sisters already feel the fist of a brutal federal government. Why do we stand by doing nothing? What is it that you want to do? Is our comfortable life so important that we are willing to live like slaves in chains? Please forbid that from being true! I know what others might do; but for me there is a clear choice…it is either liberty or death!
“Now, what I really want to do is form militias in every county in every state. I want them armed and mobile to be able to stop the tyranny from wherever it comes, in whatever form it takes. I want those militias ready to fight for our freedom and liberty against all forces of evil whoever they may be!”
I hope that the statement above means something to you. Did it stir you? Did it make you feel guilty? Did it scare you? I can tell you that the FBI, NSA, CIA, DHS or any other of the federal law enforcement and spy agencies would look upon this statement and the intent as an act of insurrection. They would deem that statement as coming from a violent right-wing extremist terrorist. The person making this statement would be arrested and charged with a long list of anti-terrorism felonies. They would be convicted and imprisoned for the rest of their lives. If the Department of Justice had its way, the person would be shot by firing squad. If the FBI had it their way they would be shot by their HRT going for a gun that was never there.
But, in case you didn’t recognize the “speech,” it is not mine. Although I wish it was. I wish I could be so honest and straight forward. I wish I could be so eloquent and brave. The speech was made at the St. John’s Church in Richmond, Virginia on March 23, 1775 by Patrick Henry. He was requesting permission to form a company of mounted Minutemen to protect the colonists against the English soldiers.
Here is his full speech –
“No man thinks more highly than I do of the patriotism, as well as abilities, of the very worthy gentlemen who have just addressed the House. But different men often see the same subject in different lights; and, therefore, I hope it will not be thought disrespectful to those gentlemen if, entertaining as I do, opinions of a character very opposite to theirs, I shall speak forth my sentiments freely, and without reserve. This is no time for ceremony. The question before the House is one of awful moment to this country. For my own part, I consider it as nothing less than a question of freedom or slavery; and in proportion to the magnitude of the subject ought to be the freedom of the debate. It is only in this way that we can hope to arrive at truth, and fulfil the great responsibility which we hold to God and our country. Should I keep back my opinions at such a time, through fear of giving offence, I should consider myself as guilty of treason towards my country, and of an act of disloyalty toward the majesty of heaven, which I revere above all earthly kings.
Mr. President, it is natural to man to indulge in the illusions of hope. We are apt to shut our eyes against a painful truth, and listen to the song of that siren till she transforms us into beasts. Is this the part of wise men, engaged in a great and arduous struggle for liberty? Are we disposed to be of the number of those who, having eyes, see not, and, having ears, hear not, the things which so nearly concern their temporal salvation? For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it may cost, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst, and to provide for it.
I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided; and that is the lamp of experience. I know of no way of judging of the future but by the past. And judging by the past, I wish to know what there has been in the conduct of the British ministry for the last ten years, to justify those hopes with which gentlemen have been pleased to solace themselves, and the House? Is it that insidious smile with which our petition has been lately received? Trust it not, sir; it will prove a snare to your feet. Suffer not yourselves to be betrayed with a kiss. Ask yourselves how this gracious reception of our petition comports with these war-like preparations which cover our waters and darken our land. Are fleets and armies necessary to a work of love and reconciliation? Have we shown ourselves so unwilling to be reconciled, that force must be called in to win back our love? Let us not deceive ourselves, sir. These are the implements of war and subjugation; the last arguments to which kings resort. I ask, gentlemen, sir, what means this martial array, if its purpose be not to force us to submission? Can gentlemen assign any other possible motive for it? Has Great Britain any enemy, in this quarter of the world, to call for all this accumulation of navies and armies? No, sir, she has none. They are meant for us; they can be meant for no other. They are sent over to bind and rivet upon us those chains which the British ministry have been so long forging. And what have we to oppose to them? Shall we try argument? Sir, we have been trying that for the last ten years. Have we anything new to offer upon the subject? Nothing. We have held the subject up in every light of which it is capable; but it has been all in vain. Shall we resort to entreaty and humble supplication? What terms shall we find which have not been already exhausted? Let us not, I beseech you, sir, deceive ourselves. Sir, we have done everything that could be done, to avert the storm which is now coming on. We have petitioned; we have remonstrated; we have supplicated; we have prostrated ourselves before the throne, and have implored its interposition to arrest the tyrannical hands of the ministry and Parliament. Our petitions have been slighted; our remonstrances have produced additional violence and insult; our supplications have been disregarded; and we have been spurned, with contempt, from the foot of the throne. In vain, after these things, may we indulge the fond hope of peace and reconciliation. There is no longer any room for hope. If we wish to be free² if we mean to preserve inviolate those inestimable privileges for which we have been so long contending²if we mean not basely to abandon the noble struggle in which we have been so long engaged, and which we have pledged ourselves never to abandon until the glorious object of our contest shall be obtained, we must fight! I repeat it, sir, we must fight! An appeal to arms and to the God of Hosts is all that is left us!
They tell us, sir, that we are weak; unable to cope with so formidable an adversary. But when shall we be stronger? Will it be the next week, or the next year? Will it be when we are totally disarmed, and when a British guard shall be stationed in every house? Shall we gather strength by irresolution and inaction? Shall we acquire the means of effectual resistance, by lying supinely on our backs, and hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us hand and foot? Sir, we are not weak if we make a proper use of those means which the God of nature hath placed in our power. Three millions of people, armed in the holy cause of liberty, and in such a country as that which we possess, are invincible by any force which our enemy can send against us. Besides, sir, we shall not fight our battles alone. There is a just God who presides over the destinies of nations; and who will raise up friends to fight our battles for us. The battle, sir, is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave. Besides, sir, we have no election. If we were base enough to desire it, it is now too late to retire from the contest. There is no retreat but in submission and slavery! Our chains are forged! Their clanking may be heard on the plains of Boston! The war is inevitable²and let it come! I repeat it, sir, let it come.
It is in vain, sir, to extenuate the matter. Gentlemen may cry, Peace, Peace²but there is no peace. The war is actually begun! The next gale that sweeps from the north will bring to our ears the clash of resounding arms! Our brethren are already in the field! Why stand we here idle? What is it that gentlemen wish? What would they have? Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!”
Where is he today?
Why do we not have that same passion today to correct the United States situation? Why do we not have that level of courage to fight injustice? Why do so many working for the federal government today serving the cause of tyranny, oppression, and violence against the people? How do they justify their violation to defend the Constitution against all enemies both foreign and domestic?
Then again, I ask myself this question every day, “Why don’t I do something?”
It is plain, and well-proven, that our country no longer is governed by the rule of law. We are ruled by an all-powerful President with his safe full of Executive Orders and Presidential Findings. These documents are used outside of the Constitution to give the appearance of legality when the government is acting decidedly unconstitutionally. But, it doesn’t stop there. The Constitution is clear on how our court system is to function. Yet the government ignores the Constitution and uses a secret court called FISA (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court). But that too has been corrupted. The FISA court system is used primarily for the attempt to legally justify unconstitutional actions against US citizens.
You would even think it would stop there. No, it doesn’t. There is a long list of unconstitutional laws that have been passed such as the Patriot Act, National Defense Authorization Act, and many more. All of these so-called laws are used against US citizens completely and wholly outside of the Constitution. We also see a President who picks and choose which laws he will enforce and which laws he will simply ignore. That one act alone is a damning breach of his Oath of Office.
But, what is done? Nothing!
And, why? Because the ruling class, the political class, that runs this country wishes it to be so. Doubt me? Test it. If the Congress objected to the President’s breach of the Constitution or his Oath of Office they could stop him in a dozen different ways. Yet…they don’t. Hence, they approve and are co-conspirators. And the people suffer.
Awake to our awful situation!
And then decide what you are meant to do. What is your mission here on earth? What kind of world will you leave behind for your children and your grandchildren?
How about…”we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.” Sound familiar?
What can we do?
In my last article I laid out a simple plan –
1 – Put yourself right. I mean dig deep into who you are and fix it. Overcome those things in your life that make you someone that you don’t want to be. Tell the truth every time, in everything. Never tell another lie. Don’t steal anything ever. Be the person who finds a quarter on the ground and looks around trying to find the owner. If you happen to get too much change from the cashier, return it. Be that person who lets the other driver into the flow of traffic, or gives them a break while turning. Become the person who people would trust with their baby. Have honor, integrity, and strong moral character. Become the person your parents and grandchildren are proud of.
2 – Love your family. Reach out to family members and share with them what you know to be right and true. No, don’t be overbearing and obnoxious about it. Be strong but gentle in encouraging all your family members to put themselves right, to become people of honor and uprightness. Form strong bonds of love and trust. Be a safe place for each other, a place all of you want to be.
3 – Reach out to your congregation and/or community. If you are a religious person, be to your congregation what you are to your family…warm, loving, trustworthy, and honorable. Encourage them, love them, be a person that they recognize as one of reliability and who can be sought out in times of trouble. Next, do the same with your immediate community. No, I am not speaking in terms of an entire town or city…perhaps not even beyond your neighborhood block. Host a neighborhood hotdog cookout or sponsor a potluck. Wave to everyone as you see them each day. Seek ways to serve those that might need a little help with something as small as mowing their yard, shoveling their walk, bringing them a casserole if they are sick and would enjoy a meal that they didn’t have to prepare.
4 – Finally…prepare. Yes, this could be seen as item #1. And yes, you can work on all four of these items together. But, prepare. No, I am not saying go out and buy three years of food on a credit card. No, I am not saying go out and buy the best AR-15 on the market, add 20 Magpul magazines, along with 10,000 rounds of ammo. I am not telling you anything specific to do or buy. It is up to you to make that determination. Sure, this website is all about providing guidance in that area…but only guidance, not concrete “must-do’s” that are inviolate.
For now there is little more for me to say. Well, maybe one more thing…You are all in my prayers.
