♦ Baofeng UV-5RA Programming Files

UV-5R programming Files for Baofeng UV-5R radiosThese files are free for you to use with your Boafeng UV-5RA radio.

I have programmed various files using RT Systems programming software. I have placed them here for you to download and use as you wish. I would ask a couple of things in return:

  1. Let folks know about AHTrimble.com, that you got your radio information here, and its a prepper website worth visiting.
  2. Let me know if you find any problems with the frequencies or tones, and what you did to correct it.
  3. Finally, use your radio enough to stay familiar with it. There will come a time when you need it. When you do, it will be invaluable.
If you are a customer of AH Trimble, you have the following programming files available. Just go to the private customer page to download them.

GENERAL USE FREQUENCIES:
  • FRS (Family Radio System) Frequencies – These frequencies are the standard FRS frequencies found in the retail market of personal radios. <AH Trimble – FRS>
  • GMRS (General Mobile Radio System) Frequencies – These frequencies are the standard GMRS frequencies found in the retail market of personal radios. <AH Trimble – GMRS>
  • GMRS & FRS Frequencies combined in channel order – These frequencies are the standard GMRS & FRS frequencies found in the retail market of personal radios. I have arranged them in order of “channel” as they appear in most retail GMRS/FRS radios. <AHTrimble – FRS&GMRS>
  • MURS (Multi-Use Radio System) – These frequencies are the standard MURS frequencies found in the retail market of personal radios. <AHTrimble – MURS>

I put together many specific programming files for you to use with your Baofeng UV-5RA radio. I have standardized a Channel Plan to make it easier to understand how your radio is programmed and which channels and frequencies are used. I would suggest you download the Channel Plan first to get an idea of the general channel layout. <AHTrimble – Channel Plan>
