It was originally reported that the shooter was 250 yards away on top of a building roof. Then multiple civilians reported that the shooter was 100 – 150 yards away and that appears to be corroborated by some authorities. It is also reported, and audio appears to confirm, that the shooter was able to fire multiple shots, 3 – 6 (updated) 5 – 8, before being killed by a Secret Service sniper. If all of this is true, and it appears to be so:
- How did a man with a rifle get within 150 yards of Trump without being seen and stopped by the Secret Service or law enforcement?
- Why was the event security perimeter so limited?
- Why wasn’t the building previously cleared and secured since it was such an obvious prime sniper position?
- Why didn’t Secret Service drones spot the assassin while he was getting into position and setting up.
At least two civilians were interviewed by the media at the scene that they reported to law enforcement, apparently not Secret Service, that they saw a man with a rifle climbing onto a building rooftop and pointed out the building to those law enforcement officers. Did those LEOs report this upline? If so, why didn’t the Secret Service immediately remove Trump to a safe location and actions taken to apprehend the assassin?
One angle of video (from stage left looking at stage right) shows a sniper (apparently Secret Service) looking directly at the precise angle/direction of the assassin for at least a full minute prior to the assassin taking his shots. The Secret Service was on an elevated rooftop that appears to be taller than the assassin’s rooftop. Did that Secret Service sniper, or his spotter, see the assassin? If not, why not? If he did see him, why didn’t he engage immediately when the assassin with the rifle was spotted?
I don’t have any kind of experience that Secret Service agents have, not even close. But I have been responsible for, or participated in, event security. I have also served on VIP/Executive security details; some of you would recognize the leadership names. And I can tell you this…the security detail’s actions/reactions after the shots were fired were not those of professional, Tier 1 personnel.
One female agent even stopped tending to protecting Trump to fiddle with her sunglasses…twice. And it appears that the detail leader gives the ‘move’ command to take Trump to his vehicle. He gives the command ‘move’, he moves almost 6’ from Trump and the pile of agents, turns around and sees no one else moved.
The US Secret Service is supposed to be the best protection agency in the world. However, in the last two decades there is report after report after report of agents getting drunk on assignments, consorting with whores, leaving intelligence reports in the presence of foreign females in hotel rooms, getting sent home from foreign countries for all kinds of inappropriate behaviors. Are we seeing the continued degradation of that agency…at least when it comes to Trump’s protection? It appears that his protection detail was at best 3rd string.
Here is my closing statement…1) watch the videos and listen to the audios, 2) ask your own questions, 3) watch how the feds respond to this event and answer questions raised about his protection and the assassin.
Last question, the FBI has been put in charge of the investigation into what happened. Is this the same FBI that planted spies in Trump’s 2016 campaign staff? If this the same FBI that joined with the CIA in the coup against Trump after Trump was elected President? Is this the same FBI that endorsed the Steele Dossier as being true and accurate? Is this the same FBI that stonewalled the Hunter laptop investigation and even denied the laptop existed? Is this the same FBI that investigated the person who revealed Biden’s daughter’s diary alleging molestation of her by Joe Biden…rather than investigating Biden for molesting his daughter? Is this the same FBI investigating Trump, including raiding his personal home, trying to send Trump to prison? If it is…well, you know what question I would be asking next.
It is still early, maybe too early, to be asking questions and relying on information that hasn’t been verified by authorities. So I might be wrong about the info I am relating and I might be out of line asking questions so soon. Then again…
