For those of you who are concerned about the Michigan US Senate race…
For those of you who are interested in or concerned about the Michigan US Senate race…
Abdul El-Sayed — Democrat and a Muslim. He holds a medical degree from Columbia University and a doctorate in public health from Oxford, but does not hold a medical license. He was the director of the Detroit Health Department from 2015 to 2017. He resigned as the Director of Wayne County’s Department of Health, Human and Veterans Services in 2025 to run for Senator.
There are legitimate questions to examine about El-Sayed’s political statements, associations and fundraising. But investigations by Bridge Michigan, PolitiFact and The Washington Post found no evidence establishing that he is a Muslim Brotherhood member. He has explicitly disavowed the organization.
T.J. Wolfgram – campaign staff, Said he had no objection to the Muslim Brotherhood. Suggested he might support some of its activities if he knew more about them. Expressed disagreements with how the organization treats women.
Mike Rogers — Republican and a Roman Catholic. Advisory board member Telefónica, one of the world’s largest telecommunications company, headquartered in Madrid, Spain. Board director Constella Intelligence, is a digital intelligence company specializing in collecting, analyzing, and monitoring information available on the internet. Chief security adviser to AT&T for the last 10 years.
Rogers has defended widespread, almost limitless, federal surveillance programs.
Rogers supports Section 702 of FISA, which includes;
- The government can force U.S. electronic communications providers (cell phone companies) to assist in collecting communications.
- Communications involving Americans can also be collected when they communicate without warrants.
Abigail (Abby) Ronson, spokesperson for Rogers’ campaign, registered under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) in May 2026 for work on behalf of the Israeli government.
Jesse Stokes, media writer for Rogers’ campaign, registered under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) in Oct 2025 for work on behalf of the Israeli government.
Both of those individuals also work for Convergence Media. Convergence runs a wider communications campaign funded by the Israeli government…funded by Israel for more than $46million.
Mike Shields, founder and head of Convergence Media, is also registered under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) working on behalf of the Israeli government.
So here we are in the United States of America…between two mortal enemies that have been fighting each other for 1,400 years.
How sad.
