As I understand it, Kissinger had Nixon drugged up during his presidency. That may have been a factor.
As for Vance, as I understand it, he has been against the war on Iran. But you are right. Anyone trying to clean up this mess is going to have his hands full.
Pandora’s Box has been opened and nothing is going to get back in to the way it was before.
Unfortunately, we have hard times ahead of us.

And all that talk of “Sleepy Joe” – and as bad as that was – we now have this.

Invocation of the 25th Amendment? Say that Donald Trump has “taken ill” and VP JD Vance takes over?

I gotta tell ya…my first true President that I had a clue about was Nixon…and he was a weird kinda dark creepy criminal. But of all the Presidents in my time…Trump is, without question or doubt, causing the most chaos, discontent, trouble, conflict, confusion, and just a sense of insanity coming from the White House.
JD as President…well, at least he said he was against war, etc. Then again Trump did too and look where that got us…endless war, bombing, death, invasions, and armed conflict the world over. JD seems a bit more radical when it comes to politics than Trump…but could we get a “worse than”??? I doubt it. But JD would be inheriting a colossal mess of a country of historical proportions. What could he possibly do to get the country back on the right track? Then again, maybe it would be out of his grasp to do so even if he wanted to.
We would have to get to the #4 guy…Secretary of State — Marco Rubio till we would have any chance at all. At least he told the truth about why we started the war with Iran.
I don’t see any positive outcome to any of this…only continued destruction…till the end. And I don’t think the end is all that far away as many folks think it might be.
