Jim and all the religious stuff…gonna kill me! OK, it is good for everyone, no doubt about it. He holds a little service and everyone attends, well almost. The SecFor doesn’t, and a couple stragglers. Jim is working on the stragglers. We sing a couple church songs, pray some, a sermon (usually by Jim, his wife, Hurston or his wife) and then we mill around talking for a while. Actually, it is some nice downtime to just be people. And just being people in this world right now is a rare opportunity.

Once that was over with everyone is busy getting ready. We had planned on Sunday being a day off, but not this one. We have to be ready to leave and there is so much to do.

I want to write more but there isn’t time tonight. I read over what I read early this morning about how this all happened. Well, at least the high-level stuff. And a couple questions come to mind?

1 – Did they tell us true stuff?

2 – Do they know the truth?

3 – Who exactly is running the country right now?

4 – Will the military not go rouge and establish a military dictatorship?

And the toughest question…Why the hell did we let our politicians get away with all of their crap for the last 120 years? Unfortunately I think I know the answer to that one…Edward Bernays, a nephew of Sigmund Freud. Yeah, you probably never heard of him but this quote by him sums it up pretty well…

“If we understand the mechanisms and motives of the group mind, it is now possible to control and regiment the masses according to our will without their knowing it.”

Yeah, he did contract work for the US government starting during WWI. No wonder we allowed the politicians to have their way with us! Glenn Beck wrote a powerful book about his stuff…The Overton Window. It was worth me reading it…three times!

In all reality…it was only the libertarians that really kept a grasp on the Constitution…everyone else was headed in the same direction just different paths.
