Patriot : 04/27/2026

This is a new format post as I described back on March 30th < Changing the website format ! >. The article below is more current events & opinion article as it applies to prepping vs a solely prepper article. Do not read the article if you are not interested in my view/opinion of current events and how they apply to prepping.

  1. Hello,

Could I please ask a favor? Would you be willing to put out your Patriot articles in dark mode or black background and light lettering? I have severe light sensitivity and it’s very difficult to read on a white background even with my blue light filter computer glasses. Thank you for your consideration. I appreciate your perspective and would like to be able to read your articles again.

    Thanks,
    Jennifer

    • This will work in PDF reader for all your PDF documents…
1-Select the main menu (Windows – upper left-hand corner) > Preferences.
2-In the Preferences dialog, select Accessibility from the left panel.
3-Check the Replace Document Colors option and select Use High-Contrast Colors.
4-Choose a color combination from the High-contrast color combination dropdown and select OK. I chose the white on black combo.

    • I thought you might have the same issue with your browser so I looked it up for firefox and you can do the same with the browser.

In the same line as the search bar there are 3 lines on the far right…menu. Click on that, you’re in settings.
Go down the the “Language and Appearance” section.
There are two sub-sections that you can adjust…Website appearance & Website contrast.
Adjust those to whatever color combo works best for you.
