Pretty damn disgusting…and getting worse…

Crap, where do I even start? Who knew Charlie Kirk was going to be murdered? Who knew his murder would ripple through the entire world, especially the US, the way it has? Who knew it would expose so much of so many?

Well, it has exposed a whole lot…and it is disgusting! And I am telling you…it will get worse. I’ve been warning you for years of how bad it was and how bad it will get…well, it’s here.

The most obvious, and probably the most disgusting part, is the celebration of Charlie’s murder by some very sick minds and souls. But to be uncharacteristically kind, I think a lot of the folks making wholly inappropriate comments by expressing jubilation at the cold-blooded murder of Charlie can be attributed to propaganda, brainwashing, and poor judgment. That doesn’t excuse their actions and words, it just helps explain it and soften the condemnation. The others though are just mentally and spiritually sick bastards.

But let’s review what Charlie Kirk actually had to say about all those comments…

Unreal!! Charlie Kirk, being an amazing man, defending those disparaging folks from the grave. When you have a foundation of principles and ethics it shows, quietly, honorably, and strongly. It matches one of my favorites…

“I wholly disapprove of what you say—and will defend to the death your right to say it.” (attributed to Voltaire)

George Orwell (1984) had it right…

“Free speech is my right to say what you don’t want to hear.”

And obviously it all aligns with the United States Founding Fathers, First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States that is part of the Bill of Rights…

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

Notice the use of the specific word “abridging”…wanna know why? A lot of people think that the 1st Amendment is there to prevent the government from eliminating free speech. Wrong!! Well, kinda…they are right to a point. But abridge means to “limit”, “shorten”, “lessen”, “diminish” or “curtail”.

Now go back and read what Charlie Kirk said about ugly speech, gross speech, and even evil speech…

“And ALL of it is protected by the First Amendment. Keep America free.”

I do not want to be, and will do everything I can to not be, a hypocrite. Here goes…

In 2022 I wrote extensively about the establishment of the DHS “Disinformation Governance Board. I called it “one of the final stages of totalitarianism”. The following year I revealed this, “The DOJ formed a combined agency ‘task force’ that has been identifying sources of disinformation…”

Also back in 2022 I wrote an article how the FBI is using symbols and speech to label patriots, conservatives, preppers, and anyone who disagrees with the government as potential violent domestic terrorists. In that article I wrote…

“Well, that is an outright and blatant attack on the 1st Amendment’s freedom of speech…pretty obvious in its a factual violation of the Constitution. But the US federal government continues its attack on constitutional rights, freedoms, and liberties…especially freedom of speech.”

In May of 2022 I wrote an article called “Authoritarian(ism)” outlining the key traits of an authoritarian government. Here are the primary traits of authoritarianism:

  • Military might and supremacy, a standing army,
  • National/central government’s intervention to determine prices,
  • Protection of industries from foreign competition,
  • Assumption of power/authority not specifically outlined in a constitution.
  • Any restriction on any natural rights of the individual.

Oh, what is a “natural right”? John Locke laid that out pretty clearly 400 years ago, natural rights include “freedom of thought, speech, worship, life, liberty, property, and to live life as they choose.” And those natural rights were adopted and enshrined by our Founding Fathers in the Bill of Rights – First Amendment.

Think clearly and carefully of the Federal government’s recent rhetoric out of Washington since Kirk’s assassination. AG Bondi talking about targeting those who use “hate speech”, Stephen Miller stating that the DOJ and DHS will target hate speech, and it goes on and on.

And then there is this…

“We’ll probably go after people like you because you treat me so unfairly, it’s hate. You have a lot of hate in your heart,” Trump said, responding to a question from ABC’s Jonathan Karl. (Politico Sept 2025).

“We’ll probably go after people like you…” What the hell?????

Even Ted Cruz got it right…

“The First Amendment absolutely protects speech,” Cruz stated on 9/16 at POLITICO’s AI & Tech Summit in Washington. “It [the First Amendment] absolutely protects hate speech. It protects vile speech. It protects horrible speech. What does that mean? It means you cannot be prosecuted for speech, even if it is evil and bigoted and wrong.”

Let’s keep the Bill of Rights, especially freedom of speech, alive and vibrant and legally intact. Let’s honor natural rights, the principles of our Founding Fathers…and keep the ethics and beliefs of Charlie Kirk alive…

For years I’ve been telling you how the US will fall into the firm grasp of an authoritarian/totalitarian regime. US citizens begging for relief from chaos, confusion, contention, and conflict will lay the groundwork for them to accept any solution.

So many of us refer to the George Orwell book “1984”, but, do we recognize it when we actually see it staring us in the face?
