Greetings and thanks for the helpful article. Do you think this mixture would work well for planting the tomatoes in a raised container, once they are large enough to plant outside, or would it need anything more? 

The short answer is an unqualified “yes!” Meaning, yes, you need a better soil for your tomato plants outside in raised beds.

The #1 problem I’ve run into growing tomatoes is what is called blossom end rot. It comes from not enough calcium. But here is the tricky part…there is usually enough calcium in the soil, but the plant is having a hard time getting the calcium from the soil into the plant.

What does that have to do with your question? You have to have a great soil with a consistent and adequate watering schedule.

Great Soil: Peat moss is great for seedlings because it is sterile and won’t corrupt your seedlings. But tomato plants producing fruit need a whole lot of nutrients. And that my friend means compost, lot’s of good quality compost. I’ve bought mine from a local city sanitary district but we stopped because there was too much trash in it. I found a company locally that accepts green waste then turns it into compost, landscape mulch, and bark chips. It is clean and well composted.

To make my soil I use 8 parts compost, 1 part peat moss, 1 part perlite, 1 part native soil (ours is sandy). If you want to step it up a notch you can add 1 part vermiculite. Vermiculite is a lightweight, sterile, and expandable mineral that improves soil texture and moisture retention. Vermiculite is notably more expensive than perlite but is a nice additive to my basic mix.

Why do I use our native sandy soil? To reduce cost and give some drainage to the soil. If you have a rich black soil like parts of the mid-west then you can probably cut back on the compost. And remember, I grow everything in raised beds due to the very poor condition of our natural, in-ground, dirt. If I live where I grew up, great soil to begin with, then I would do everything in-ground and just amend the soil as needed.

Tomato plants need a pretty well draining soil but consistent watering. They don’t like constantly wet roots but they do need a consistent deep watering so they can take up the needed nutrients. I plant my tomato plants deep, usually about 10 – 12” of the stem in the dirt. If I can’t get them that deep then I go horizontal for 12” or so and about 6” deep.

Now, when I plant I dig my hole then place bone meal in the bottom of the hole along with that 2-2-2 organic fertilizer I mentioned. This year I am trying an additional step…gypsum on the surface around the plant, then mixed in just slightly, then well watered. The bone meal and gypsum are sources of calcium that plant needs. And yes, I will add fertilizer about 1x per month as needed during the growing season.

Waiting until you see how I trim them! Yeah, a bit radical.

NOTE: Be careful when buying compost! It may be “hot” meaning a whole lot of nitrogen in it. That will burn your plants up. < click here to read how I burned up my strawberry plants > Compost needs plenty of time to cook and then cool down. Talk to your supplier about it. I still leave mine sitting on the ground covered for months just to make sure.

Declaration vs Constitution and Bill of Rights

You talk so much about the Declaration of Independence but once the Constitution along with the Bill of Rights was written doesn’t that make the Declaration of Independence obsolete?

Absolutely not!

Think of it this way…Without a good and solid foundation a building is weak and will fall apart eventually. Or, if a bridge doesn’t have sound piles and footers it will fail and collapse.

So the Declaration of Independence is the foundation of America, the foundation of freedom and liberty in the United States. Without it, the Constitution, along with the Bill of Rights, will fail, fall, and completely collapse because they have no solid foundation.

At the beginning the Declaration of Independence states that the sole purpose of government is to secure the rights that God has given people, all people. Additionally, the only power that government has comes from the consent of the governed. And when government no longer secures God-given rights, or assumes power that the people don’t willingly agree to…well, then the people have the right to alter or to abolish that government. Why? Because that failed/fallen government no longer has legitimacy.

Actually the Declaration of Independence is more direct and to the point in that matter. The Declaration of Independence states not only is it the people’s right, but it is their duty to throw off such government.

Therefore, the Declaration of Independence is the very foundation of the United States of America. The Constitution and the Bill of Rights are built upon it and depend on it. Without the Declaration of Independence there is no ultimate authorization, right, or duty to correct the problems with government. And that Bill Of Rights to the Constitution - first amendment - 1st - freedom of speechauthorization, right, and duty comes from God.

So what is the problem and why do we need such documents as the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and a Constitutional Republic with all its checks and balances on power?

The original Prophet of our church has said this about men, “We have learned by sad experience that it is the nature and disposition of almost all men, as soon as they get a little authority, as they suppose, they will immediately begin to exercise unrighteous dominion.”

One of the tenants of the religion that I subscribe to states, “We believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law.” The ‘law’ being Constitutional law, laws instituted for the benefit of man.

I will leave you with this to ponder…

“4 And now, verily I say unto you concerning the laws of the land, it is my will that my people should observe to do all things whatsoever I command them.

5 And that law of the land which is constitutional, supporting that principle of freedom in maintaining rights and privileges, belongs to all mankind, and is justifiable before me.

6 Therefore, I, the Lord, justify you, and your brethren of my church, in befriending that law which is the constitutional law of the land;

7 And as pertaining to law of man, whatsoever is more or less than this, cometh of evil.”

God has given us agency to choose, to make our own decisions, based on His will and guidance. As with the Founders, should a person decide to fight tyranny, oppression, and evil…we are free to do so. Actually the Declaration of Independence says it is our duty. However, that doesn’t make us immune to the repercussions in this life from evil men that are the tyrants and oppressors.

Thank goodness that our Founding Fathers fought tyranny and oppression of an evil government…and won. Not only that…they laid out the process by which to do so in the future should the need arise…the Declaration of Independence…an inspired document written by men inspired of God.

So for me…the Declaration of Independence will never become obsolete as long as the earth exists with governments run by man. The Declaration of Independence is what originally made America great.

#1 Danger in the US and world today?

I’ve read your stuff for years now. You go into a lot of detail at times, too much at times. Can you tell me plainly what is the #1 Danger in the US and world today?

That is really simple…but let me explain in detail!

Okay, seriously if you want the simple version here it is…

In the USA the #1 problem/danger is government. Yup, that simple.

Explanation: Government as such is not the problem, it is what we’ve allowed it to become is the problem that has morphed into “danger” as well. To me the federal government is the biggest problem for two reasons; 1) they have the most powerful forum to take away rights/liberties/freedoms, 2) they have the guns to back-up those thefts. For 135 years the federal government has been degrading the Constitution and Bill of Rights…and we’ve elected those who’ve done it. But don’t think the local and state governments are exempt. State governments have done things like forcibly, by power of law, taken children away from the home and fed them concepts/principles/ideas that wants to make me vomit; it’s called ‘public education’. And local governments forcing people to build their own home a certain way and then pay horribly high property taxes. Yup, practically destroying the affordable housing market along the way…and lining the pockets of government folks, builders, insurance companies, etc.

In the world today the #1 problem/danger is the US government. Yup, that simple.

Explanation: What government has been involved in and is responsible for more wars in the last 150 years? You got it…the USA. Just to name the last 3…Who started the Iraq war? The USA. Who started the Afghanistan War? The USA. Who started the Ukraine/Russia war? The USA when they overthrew the pro-Russian Ukrainian government in 2014 and green-lighted Russia’s invasion a month before Russia invaded…and the US torpedoed a peace deal 6 months into the war. Who is the #1 member of a huge military alliance (NATO) that threatens the largest country in the world (Russia)…who is legitimately not a threat to the world? The USA. Who has the most evil, deadly, and active secret agency (the CIA) in the world who overthrows sovereign governments, assassinates world leaders, conducts coups, runs drugs, sells illegal arms, etc.? The USA.

Now, before you get your panties in a wad. The American people are NOT the US federal government…for the most part. Although we keep electing the politicians that run the government.

Interesting…15% of the US workforce work for government. That is pathetic!!!

In 1800 the US population was about 5.5million people with about 4,000 fed employees. Today the US population being about 327million with 7million people receiving a fed paycheck. 1800 = .07% (.0007) of the population got a fed paycheck. Today it is 2% (.02) of the US population gets a fed paycheck. That is 30 times more federals sucking money out of the US economy and controlling the US citizenry today than in 1800!!!! And yes, that is in relative terms…so the numbers are real.

So why do you think that is?

Here’s a couple more for you…

  1. Why does the US federal government have US military personnel stationed/deployed in 170 countries in the world?
  2. Why does the US federal government have about 750 military bases in 80 countries in the world?

FYI…there are only 190 countries in the world. So the US military occupies 42% of the world’s countries and has a military presence in 90% of the world’s countries.

Now hold on a minute…check this out…

All of that and we can’t even control our own borders from being invaded by people from around the world.

Gee, I wonder what all this is about anyways?????

Illegal Chinese Military Age Males in the USA

Been a bit busy which means I’ve been a bit quiet.

  • But a very close friend of mine texted me an article and asked what I thought about it. It was actually a video regarding 57,000 illegal Chinese immigrants coming across the southern border in the last year or so. My buddy expressed deep concern. I told him I would check into it.

So…here we go…

According to a pretty well documented official report released by DHS/CBP:

  • In fiscal year 2023 (Nov 22 – Oct 23) 24,000 illegal aliens from China were apprehended.
  • All were “catch and release”.
  • More than 50% were granted asylum in less than a year, which is 3-1/2 times (350%) more than any other group of illegals.

Unofficial stats indicate that more than 150 Chinese nationals have snuck into the US illegally every single day since November 1, 2023. That would be about 17,000 criminal Chinese illegals.

There is another report, allegedly from CBP, that in FY 2023 37,000 illegal aliens from China were apprehended and about 20,000 since November 1, 2023. Again, it appears that all were “catch and release”.

For discussion sake, let’s say the truth is somewhere in between:

  • 30,000 illegal immigrants from China were apprehended in FY 2023.
  • 18,500 illegal immigrants from China were apprehended so far in FY 2024.
  • Absent any information to the contrary…all were “catch and release”.
  • That’s nearly 27,000 already granted asylum.

Just a little added information that I thought was interesting:

  1. In one location on the southern border on one day while a reporter watched, an SUV was dropping off a car load of Chinese illegal aliens every 30 minutes with CBP standing 25′ away.
  1. A reporter interviewed a US landowner on the southern border who estimates 3,000 per week coming across his property earlier this year. Last year when migrants surrounded him and were destroying his fruit trees he shot his gun in the air because he feared for his life. CBP arrested him and confiscated his gun. The migrants all got away.

Here is what the reports don’t tell you…but I have personal knowledge of. When I would be briefed by CBP (I was a US agency liaison) I was told that the average was 10 illegals would successfully cross the border for each one CBP apprehended. What does that tell you?

Approximately 485,000 Chinese illegally entered the US through the southern border were NOT apprehended by CBP and are living somewhere in the US. And that is just since November 1, 2022. If those stats are still holding up…that is just under 1,000 Chinese per day entering the US illegally every single day…that the US government has no record of.

But let’s say that number is off by a huge margin…cut it in half…that is just over 250,000 people when you throw in the ones who were caught and released. Here is where it gets interesting…I looked at dozens of reports, videos, and images of these Chinese folks who came to the good ‘ole USA. Something interesting stuck out to me…almost no women in the pictures. And oddly enough, all the men appeared to be almost exclusively between the ages of 18 – 45. Yup, military age males for the most part.

So if I put that into practical, easy to understand terms…that is 250 1,000 man battalions of Chinese military age males. In less than the last 17 months.

But let’s be open to being off by a bit…cut the number in half…only 125 1,000 man battalions of Chinese military age males. Yeah, that is 5 full 25,000 man military divisions…or almost 2 full military “corps”.

And to put that into perspective…that is equal to more than ¼ of all active duty US Army personnel. Yup, and that is just in the last 17 months. Think about this…Perv Joe has been in President for 37 months. Yeah, do the math…that could easily be 250 1,000 man battalions of Chinese military age males in the US since Sniffer Joe took office…well more than ½ of all active duty US Army personnel.

Here is where it gets really interesting…take out the 170,000 US Army personnel stationed overseas and now you have almost a 1-to-1 ratio of Chinese military age males in the US vs active duty US Army soldiers in the US. And that is deeply cutting the stats/numbers just to be on the conservative side…and just since Pedo Joe became President.

Should my buddy be concerned?

HELL YEAH !!!!

But me…nah, I’m not worried…I am sure all those military age single Chinese males are just here to work at Panda Express and China Buffet.

Well, hang on just a second, one more thought came to me…there is 100% proof positive that China has paid the Biden’s more than $31,000,000…with the checks to prove payments. So should anyone be surprised that Biden has laid out the “welcome mat” to the Chinese…the illegal Chinese???

Nothing to see here…move along…all is well.

  • Why didn’t you support the truck freedom convoy? You didn’t even mention it. I think that was way wrong.

First off…you are right…I didn’t mention it and I didn’t support it. And for the record the event was called “Take Back Our Border”.

Now, why didn’t I mention it or support it…that is a technical matter. See, I did a “cost/benefit” analysis and a “risk management” analysis on it…and the event came up short. Let me explain…

  1. I couldn’t find an actual accurate mission statement for the intended purpose…that made any practical sense.
  2. I couldn’t figure out who was actually behind it and funding it. You know, the folks behind the curtain.
  3. As for the “cost/benefit”…it just didn’t show enough benefit for the cost, and potential cost, involved. The event was not going to change government policy at all.
  4. As for the “risk management”…the probability of something going sideways was very high and the potential severity was high as well.

Remember Jan6th? It was an FBI operation filled with FBI operatives and hundreds of decent people are now in prison as felons. I thought that would be the low end of border event…the FBI would gather more intel and target more decent people. We will see how that plays out over the next year. I also thought it would only take a single “bubba” to do something stupid and federal law enforcement would have the perfect excuse to…ah, let’s just say take action…possibly terminal action.

Bottom line…it was just not a worthwhile event in my opinion. You may think differently and I understand that. But for me, in these times, I weigh everything carefully…very carefully. Yes, there will come a time for more involvement…but it is not yet. Now is the time for prayer.

  • Biden got off the hook on his classified document scandal. Why?

    Well, Biden was not going to be slammed for him having classified documents in his possession and unsecured. Remember, neither was Hilary Clinton. The deep state is not going to hang its own out to dry. There was no way Biden’s legacy was going to be damaged after serving the ruling elites his entire life…along as he plays along.

    But that wasn’t the point of the results that were released.

    The real point was to give the basis/reasoning of Biden not running for President this year. The report slammed Biden for his mental state, his cognitive ability. Everyone knows Biden is not mentally capable of tying his own shoes. Hell, Biden probably can’t even recognize shoes anymore. And everyone also knows Biden is not running the country…he is merely a figurehead doing the bidding of some puppet master(s).

    What the report did was give credence to the effort to make him not run for President. He can now bow out gracefully for the benefit of the Democrat Party, himself, and his family. Or, the Democrat Party rulers can use that report to force him out…or blackmail him out.

    What should scare the hell out of the country…who will run in his place. Remember, I have been saying for a long time to watch out for Michelle. She is an extremist of the worst kind. She truly hates everything good about this country and she is one of the ruling elites puppets. Funny thing…she thinks she is a leader of of some kind…nah, she is just another puppet just like her hubby was.

    Hang on for some serious and very unpleasant surprises this year…most of them before the election. Maybe the most serious after the election.

When does the Civil War actually start?

  • I read your post yesterday, but when does the civil war actually start?

I didn’t do a very good job on yesterday’s civil war article, so let me take another stab at it.

It is more complicated than “when”…what part do you want to hear my opinion on?

Before I answer your question let’s touch on the actual US Civil War. There had been problems between the northern and southern states for at least a decade prior to the Civil War starting. Tensions really ratcheted up in the mid-1850’s. Customarily there are three primary reasons for the Civil War: states’ rights, slavery, and westward expansion. But, there is a far more fundamental reason…wealth. The north and south were fundamentally different in terms of wealth per capita…the north was far more wealthy than the south in terms of wealth per capita…and that was the main difference and primary problem in my opinion.

In early 1861 Confederate forces were threatening Fort Sumter. In March 1861 Lincoln took office and the next month he ordered Fort Sumter resupplied knowing full-well it would ignite the war. On April 12, 1861 Confederate forces opened fire with artillery on Fort Sumter, the fort surrendered two days later. The war was on.

Now let’s look at the American Revolution. There is a fair share of historians that see 1763 as the year that started the run-up to the revolution. In 1763 the King of England stopped westward expansion denying, or at least drastically reducing, colonists the ability to better themselves economically and to own land. The following year the King implemented new and heavy tax burdens on the colonists that started an economic downturn for almost all colonists; the exception being the large English company owners that worked closely with the British government.

Further fueling the problems was the British government’s judicial system heavily slanted against the average person, very heavy-handed government officials, and the ability to seize colonists’ property on demand without a court process. In 1769 Alexander McDougall, a journalist, published an article critical of the King and the British government…he was tried, sentenced and imprisoned for it. In 1770 the Boston Massacre took place, no soldiers were ever sent to prison for that slaughter of unarmed colonists. In 1773 the Boston Tea Party took place. In April of 1775 British soldiers (the British Empire’s law enforcement officers) opened fire on Colonial militia. The war was on.

Neither the Civil War nor the American Revolution just started…they built up over a couple decades…then exploded after a specific ignition event.

So a natural question would be…”Are we on the verge of a civil war or a revolution?”

Oddly, I think we have elements of both taking place. The average US citizen is horrifically oppressed by government…especially taxation. Depending on your tax bracket, your location, and your driving habits, you work 4 – 6 months per year just to pay your taxes to the various levels of government. That far exceeds what the burden was on the colonists under the British rule that spawned the slogan “no taxation without representation.” I imagine few Americans today feel they are even heard in Washington let alone represented.

If you don’t think you or someone else is “oppressed” by government…well, think the boiling crab concept. Or, have you just accepted and adjusted your life to the tremendous government control in your life?

There is a huge economic divide in America right now. In the US right now (2023 figures) the top 20% of US citizens (the rich) possess about $130trillion in wealth. The middle and lower classes (80% of US citizens) possess barely $25trillion in wealth. So, 84% of the wealth is controlled by 20% of the people. Conversely, just 16% of the wealth is controlled by 80% of Americans. Now that is a larger economic divide than pre-Civil War.

I see the top two issues, one of the Revolution and one of the Civil War, exist in today’s world…but they are worse now than the “pre-shooting” period in either war. And the case is easily made that the US Empire is every bit as tyrannical as the British Empire was in the 1770’s…maybe even worse.

Looking at both situations objectively I see us not on the precipice of a Civil War or a Revolution…I see us in the run-up stage. Yes, meaning “it” has already started.

You can go back to the 1990’s when the federal government wiped out the “militia” concept and made them criminal. You can look at the last several years’ draconian tyrannical actions on the part of the federal government…such as the wholesale arrests of pro-life senior citizen activists, pastors/ministers, and the Jan6th folks. You can even see actual shooting of people taking place as well such as Craig Robertson. Now look at Presidential efforts over the last 24 years…very, very similar in nature to the anti-liberty/rights/freedom actions taken by the British Empire in the 1760 – 70’s.

Now let me come full circle back to your question…and whether “it” is a civil war or a revolution…”it” has already started…and can’t be stopped. By “stopped” I mean it will end-up in a shooting event between the two Americas…with only one possible option to prevent it.

Now, which two Americas in the key. Will it be rich vs poor, white vs non-white, Dems vs Repubs, liberals vs conservatives, law enforcement vs citizens, US military vs US citizens???? I don’t know between whom it will start…I don’t even know if it will break down into two Americas once it starts. I believe it will devolve more into tribal conflicts…many groups against many other groups.

I also see it ending nothing at all like the American Revolution. If the government wins, which I believe it mostly likely will, we will be living in a situation such as Soviet Union or Communist China…maybe even something akin to North Korea. If the “revolutionaries” win…then we look like the aftermath of the French Revolution…bloody, destructive, and horrible.

Here is an interesting fact…the US Army killed the 2nd most Americans of any army in any war…second only to the number of Americans killed in WWII. So the US Army has no problems killing Americans. When looked at in total…American armies (US and Confederate) killed 50% more Americans than all those Americans who died in WWII. So Americans have no problem whatsoever killing each other…no problems at all. Add to that…when you total up the number of federal law enforcement personnel in the US they are about 7th largest army in the world. Yeah…think about all of those numbers and stats for a minute…let them sink in.

So again, “it” has already started. What hasn’t happened yet is a full-scale shooting war. But we could be staring that right in the face. Look at the southern border crisis between the federal government and the State of Texas. That could easily explode and the shooting starts. Think about what could happen as a result of the 2024 presidential election…regardless of who takes over the White House.

Then there is crazy Uncle Joe himself…and those that control him. They would love a shooting war to start in the US…as would most war-mongering federal law enforcement.

What you should be asking yourself is this:

  1. Where do you stand on this conflict and what will you do to protect yourself, your family, your community, and your congregation?
  2. How does “it” end?
  3. What does the US look like after “it” ends…and how do you fit into that?

All that being said…pray for divine intervention. He can stop this…the question is…

  • Is civil war coming or is it just crap talk?

Oh, you sound like you don’t believe we are in it, or it is coming. Do you?

To me it is clear…we are in the run up to civil war…or more likely American Revolution II. What do you think happens if the feds try to unseat the Texas Military down on the southern border?

I think it is now 25 or 26 state Governors have signed letters supporting Texas in their fight to protect their state, and the US, from invasion. Why does Texas have to defend itself? Because Biden, the federal government, and the authoritarians WANT the invasion of all this trash coming across the southern border. They want the criminals, the drug dealers, the cartel hit men, the human traffickers, the drunks, the rapists, the murderers, the young children for their sex trade…and the list goes on. They want it all !

And hang on a minute…not everyone coming across the border is trash…but they are criminals. The very act of coming in the US illegally makes them criminals.

Most of all…they, the authoritarians, the folks behind the curtain, want the chaos/anarchy from the invasion! Once there is enough chaos and anarchy…then the stupid, ignorant, dumb-ass public will scream and demand a solution to all of the chaos/anarchy/crime. And the federal government will be all too happy to provide just that…the solution.

And the solution will be the worst possible nightmare you can imagine. Well, at least for anyone who believes in the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, Bill of Rights, and rights/liberties/freedoms.

So…no sir…it is not “crap talk”…it is happening, it is real, and it will get worse.

Are you ready for that to happen?

How far will you be pushed?

What will you do when you are pushed past that line?

Who do you think the real enemy is here?

Dang…you and a whole bunch of other folks! No, not to diminish how you are feeling…you are in a huge crowd right now…lots of folks feel pushed around and overwhelmed.

Wanna know why? Because we are being pushed around…intentionally. And you feel overwhelmed because that is their goal of pushing us around.

We are being pushed from every direction…and intentionally so. But, especially pushed around by government…all levels of government…especially at the federal level. We are being pushed around by traditional media…and especially social media. We are being pushed around by Internet search engines and big-tech companies. We are being pushed around by the entire banking/economic industry. And we are being pushed around by some very dark sources as well. And yes, even the globalists are pushing us around…imagine that !

Seriously, we are being pushed…and for very specific purposes. They want us confused, angry, divided, and ready to go to war with each other…or with the government. They want this! Why? Because this is the big push…they (the government) want a reason to come to the rescue. To rescue us from all the chaos, all the danger, all of the crime, all of everything you see wrong in society today. With that “rescue” will come their ultimate power…their total power.

Look at the power the government gained after 9/11. Look at the power they gained through the “War on Terror.” Look at the power they gain after the 2007/2008 economic crisis. Every time the government “rescues” us they gain more power. And you know that ‘power’ can only be in one place at a time. Meaning…when government gains power it is because they take power (rights/liberties/freedoms) from others…usually us decent normal tax-paying hard-working citizens.

They want people overwhelmed more than anything else they could dream of. Once people are sufficiently overwhelmed they are far more receptive, almost desperate, even demanding to be rescued…at any price.

So here is how you overcome their evil:

  1. You have a solid core of principles that are inviolate. They won’t be moved by any outside force. And you will not allow them to be violated by any government official for any reason.
  2. You have a clear and deep understanding of your true God-given rights, liberties, and freedoms. No, not the garbage that the government feeds you…but the real stuff that our Founders talked about, preached, and were willing to go to war for…to give their all for.
  3. You have patience…the time will come to correct all of this…be patient.
  4. Have great Situational Awareness. Know what is going on and why. Ignore all of the static and pay attention to the real issues AND who is behind them. But, don’t overload your information gathering.
  5. Be 100% steadfast is your willingness to defend yourself and your family…and others who can’t defend themselves.
  6. Pray.
  7. Most of all…know God and have a personal relationship with him.

Do all of those things…and of course…frequent this website 😉

Just please don’t let them overwhelm you. If you do…you might do something that you might otherwise would not do. And that might prove to not be in your best interest.
