WARNING: I am on a roll…and I am mad…and I am frustrated…and I am fed up. In this article I provide lots of facts and statistics…but I also go on a rant a time or two. And yes, I inject some rather unpleasant (i.e. colorful) language. You have been warned…continue reading at your own risk.

Last Wednesday (3/12) I wrote about the “pimple on our butt”…Canada. Let me be clear once again…they are little more than a “pimple” economically. They screw us over economically big time implementing far larger tariffs -penalties- on American goods imported into their country than we impose on their goods imported into the US. And that just ain’t right! Why should we subsidize Canada’s economy when they don’t do crap for us?

Economically speaking…they are complete losers when compared to the USA…they are barely 60% of the US standard of living when comparing per capita income to GDP. Canada is third-world status compared to the US. Can you imagine for a minute if the US stopped subsidizing their economy? Could Canada even exist without our welfare payments?

But, is Canada the exception or the rule? Unfortunately the US has been subsidizing the entire world for decades…improving the life of dozens and dozens of foreign country’s citizens while destroying our own middle-class…OUR United States middle-class!! Yeah, let’s look at facts…the US middle-income/middle-class has shrunk by nearly 20% since 1971. And the US lower-income/lower-class has grown by nearly 20% in that same time period. Gee, you think there is a correlation there?

Okay, let’s think about this for a minute…US manufacturing jobs have been steadily going downhill since the 1970’s. Oh wait, net imports of goods and services was pretty much zero in the early 1970’s. Here it comes…by 2020 it had ballooned to $600billion more of goods and services imported from foreign countries (net imports). So where exactly did those manufacturing jobs go? Oh yeah…to foreign freaking countries!

Let’s talk China for a minute…in 1970 we had no trade with China. By 1980 we were importing more than 300% more goods from China than we were exporting to them. By the year 2001 we were importing about 10 times more goods from China ($100billion) than we were sending them. By 2022 that dollar amount of imports from China went to $525billion!! A 500% increase!!!!  All the while they are charging us import tariffs.

Here’s a little related tidbit for you to remember…in the early 1970’s the average home cost $31,600. By the end of 2024 that had jumped to $510,300. That is more than a 1600% price increase in the average US home!!! While we were rapidly increasing our imports from China. Hhhhuuummmmm?

Now, just to throw a couple pieces of history into the mix…

1. In the 1970’s President Nixon “normalized” relations with China. In other words, opening up trade with China. And if you look at his politics…Nixon was a liberal and Progressive by any definition, but he was also an authoritarian and globalist as well.
2. Then in 2001 what happened? Ah, yeah…9/11 terrorist attack. And who was at the helm…Bush. And he implemented some serious socialist economic policies in 2007 – 2008 to “save” the country from the Great Recession. And there is no question that Bush was a rabid authoritarian and globalist. For crying out loud…his father, prior President, was a damn CIA agent!

Coincidence and/or correlation in those historic event outcomes?

So the middle-class began shrinking in the 1970’s at the same time that US manufacturing jobs began their significant drop…at the same time the US was a “net zero” in overall foreign trade and no trade with China…at the same time homes cost $31,600. Then Nixon opened up China and foreign trade in general…enter the “global economy.”

Then, starting in 2001 until the 2020’s our imports from China went up more than 500%. And also, homes jumped 315% during the same time period…and that includes the downturn during the housing crisis period (The Great Recession).

Do you think there might be some correlation or connection between historic events and our economic situation?

Back to “BigCorp vs Workers & Foreign vs Domestic”…

Here is something for you to consider…as of 2021 the good ole USA ranked 186 out of 197 for import tariffs. That means the United States of America had virtually no import tariffs compared to the rest of the world. Yeah, you heard the horror stories about Canada’s 250% tariff on some imported US goods. But that story, along with hundreds of others, could they be one-off evidence? Hang on a second…the global tariff ranking mentioned above is hard fact…proof that the US is a giant welfare checking account for the rest of the world.

And for those who want to challenge Trump’s allegation about Canada being a far higher tariff country than the US…Canada’s average tariff rate is 2.35%…the US’s rate is 1.47%. Yeah, do the math…Canada’s average tariff rate is almost 40% higher than the United States’.

Here is an additional fact that will want to make you throw up…since the mid-1970’s the United States has provided trillions of dollars in foreign aid to countries around the world. And that figure doesn’t include military aid (i.e. freebies) or the free money during the Great Recession. The US giving trillions of dollars to countries who in return impose huge tariffs on imported US goods. And to make matters worse…that foreign aid (i.e. welfare) represents a huge portion of the entire US national debt! That’s a triple loss for the US!!!  Does it also show we, the USA, are stupid or what? Or, is there something else going on?

All of this is proof positive…the United States of America is one big…HUGE…global welfare checking account. We are the sugar daddy for the entire world. And all the while:

• our annual federal deficit grows to unimaginable and unsustainable levels
• our country loses manufacturing jobs and the ability to provide for ourselves
• home prices skyrocket and homes become unobtainable for many families
• our middle-class shrinks while the poor increase
• our national debt balloons to an untenable size
• our median household income (inflation adjusted) has decreased significantly since the late 1980’s
• during the US Great Recession of 2007 – 2009 while US citizens were losing their homes, losing their jobs, losing everything…the US Federal Reserve sent trillions of US dollars to foreign central banks to prop up their countries and their citizens

Do I need to go on? The bottom line is the US is funding the world…we are paying for everyone’s prosperity while our country is going down the toilette economically for the last 50 years.

So let all the other little pimple countries like Canada whine and complain and throw temper tantrums all they want. They only succeed economically because we are paying for it! They enjoy whatever economic good-fortunes they have because the good ole US writes the check for them.

And don’t even get me started on who protects foreign countries militarily! If it were not for the US military…there would be very, very few democracies left in the world. So let the petulant little countries cry their eyes out about the big ole mean USA…screw ‘em!!!

Summary –

Domestically the US suffers economically because we fund the world with our money. We buy their crap at the expense of US jobs and ever lowering real income for our own people. We charge a fraction of the import tariffs on foreign goods compared to what other countries charge on US goods…taking that hit financially as well.

President Trump, you go right ahead and balance the tariff trade war!! And while you’re at it…cut foreign aid to ZERO!! If you do so, manufacturing will come back to the US, job #’s will grow, income will grow, our economy will grow, the middle-class will grow once again…and we once again will become a self-sustaining country. Hopefully.

But why won’t that happen? The rich bitches (elites) of the world, and specifically those in the US.

Here’s something to show what I mean…the disparity in income between between the average American and the top 5% of American earners is a great stat to look at. From the mid-1970’s to 2024 the difference in income disparity between those two groups went wild. Rich American vs average American income growth disparity is 260% greater now than in the mid-1970’s. So tell me who exactly is benefiting the most from “free trade”, low tariffs, and a global economy? Yeah…the rich folks ya’ll…and a big time -HUGE- difference.

The bottom line…

• Globally, foreign vs domestic, the foreign countries are benefiting from, and destroying the United States economically.
• In the domestic view, the big corporations and rich folks, are benefiting from, and destroying the middle & lower class economically.

And before any morons give me crap about US nationalism or Marxism advocacy…SCREW YOU!!! That is only a vain attempt on your part to discredit facts and actual evidence.

But for clarity sake…yes, I am a US Nationalist! From the dictionary –

Nationalism is an ideology that elevates one nation or nationality above others and promotes its culture and interests. It can also refer to support for the independence or self-determination of a nation or people.

So you’re damn right I am a US Nationalist…take care of US citizens, US companies, and the US economy FIRST!!!

As for anyone who thinks I am an advocate of Marxism or Marxist ideas against rich folks…you’re an absolute idiot, clown, imbecile…or worse. What I advocate for is a strong American economy, a strong American manufacturing base, and both honesty and fairness when it comes to hardworking American workers. America can only survive as a strong Constitutional Republic if we have a strong middle-class…and “they” have been destroying that for 50 years.

And just to make sure there is no confusion or doubt in what my opinion is on who is to blame…the world’s elites. Yup, call them rich globalists, the WEF members, CFR members, Illuminati, central bankers, or whatever you like. I don’t give a  damn what they are called…they are destroying the United States of America!! The facts, stats, and figures prove it!!

Do those destroyers have allies in the US? Of course they do…for the most part they are called politicians. They are mostly Democrats, but there are plenty of Republicans in that camp as well…probably most Republicans. And no I am not ignoring the bankers and corporate heads.

Folks, there are a lot of those destroyers right here in the US. Many of their faces are well-known, others no-so-much, and then some are all but invisible. And I bet most of us have voted for a bunch of them, and/or worked for them, over the last 5 decades.

Those people who whine and complain about the US…who cry about US increasing tariffs…who whimper about mean ole Trump putting America first…just do everyone around you a favor…SHUT THE HELL UP ! No one wants to hear your petulant little child temper tantrums.

Try this on…Why don’t you try accepting reality and appreciate all the checks the US has written over the last 50 years. Or recognize that the US stepped up during two world wars and beat the bad guys for everyone else. You know, we could have just stayed home and let the ocean defend us…but nope…we stepped up for you.

Yeah, I’m about to voice my opinion on the little twerp of a country called Canada and why I think they are a little 2-year old petulant child.

Before I do that let me share one thing that may make a difference…I am second generation US citizen on my dad’s side of the family. Yeah, my paternal grandparents came from Canada…thank God they left Canada and came to the US and started a great life here for their family…in a decent and real country.

There is some debate about how dependent the US is on Canada economically. Ah, no. Let’s look at some facts…

Facts:

• Population: 41million – Canada vs 330million – USA
• National GDP: $2.5trillion – Canada vs $30trillion – USA
• Per capita income: $55,000 – Canada vs $90,000 – USA
• World ranking of per capita income: 18^th – Canada vs 7^th – USA
• Aid provided to foreign countries: $6billion – Canada vs $55billion – USA
• Standard of living: 29^th – Canada vs 12^th – USA

So reality speaks volumes…The USA dwarfs Canada in every conceivable economical way! If you want to be brutally honest…when comparing Canada to the USA…well, Canada starts looking like some third-world country.

And PLEASE President Trump don’t make Canada the 51^st state!!! It would drag down the United States to a ghetto level country. And that is before we start talking taxes. Canadian taxes are anywhere from 30 – 100% higher than taxes in the US (Corporate, Individual, VAT, Capital Gains). They can keep their tax nightmare to themselves!

Now let’s talk trade…Canada sends $66billion more of their goods to the US than we send to them. Yeah, let’s talk a very real number for a minute…Canada sends a total of about $450billion of their goods to the US each year. That means the US provides almost 20% of Canada’s GDP!!! In real terms that means if the US stops accepting goods from the US…well, Canada collapses. Yeah, their GDP drops to that of Spain and Mexico…third-world status.

But not to be out-done…let’s talk politics:

• Canada is a democratic-socialist country.
• They heartily endorse abortion (infanticide).Oh wait…that sounds a lot like eugenics.
• They also are in love with euthanasia. Yeah boy, Canada makes it legal for anyone expected to die from a medical condition can have the government approval to kill those folks instead. And that includes anyone with physical disabilities. And in 2027 it will cover anyone with mental illness. Even the United Nations raises the warning sign about their love of killing their own people. Wait a second…doesn’t that sound like eugenics?
• Canada embraces socialism in their health care system.
• Canada does not support freedom of speech, they have stringent censorship laws. In Canada you can go to prison if you say anything resembling “insensitivity or bigotry” as defined by their federal government.
• Canada is rapidly and radically anti-gun! To possess a gun in Canada their federal government must approve your “possession and acquisition licence”…and it gets worse. Their government hates for their people to possess guns…and all of this applies to BB guns as well!

Wait a minute…get this…

• Up until 1982 Canada was still ruled by England!
• But still today, who is the head-of-state in Canada? King Charles of England!!!

So folks…get over Canada!! Canada is little more than a pimple on the butt of the United States. Canada is rather insignificant in the big scheme of things. The US can easily exist and thrive without Canada…Canada collapses without the US. And that is before the fact the US military is the big-brother that keeps Canada safe. Without the US, Canada could be overrun and defeated by countries such as Brazil, Cambodia, Eritea, or Morocco.

And finally, let’s talk about leadership…

• Former Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Pierre James Trudeau, nothing more than an empty-headed, empty-suit, pretty boy from an old-money political oligarch family. Arguably one of the least intelligent leaders the world has known in the last 200 years.
• Incoming Prime Minister of Canada, Mark Carney…some facts about him…

• • Career banker, former head of Canada’s central bank (their Federal Reserve Bank)
  • Climate and Enviro Nazi
  • Globalist in every sense of the word
  • True believer in Davos
  • Big time carbon tax advocate
  • His person mantra “Arise and do the work of humankind.“
  • Former employee of Goldman Sachs
  • Big supporter of Greta Thunberg
  • Calls himself “The champion the green transition among a coalition of banks, asset managers and insurers around the world.”

To recap Canadian leadership…Trudeau was an empty-suit moron that was ruining their country for the last 10 years. Carney is everything that is wrong in the world…the ultimate example of a rich global elitist…who will soon be running their country.

Canada’s importance in the world…yeah, not so much. Think about this…the US is #1 trading partner of Canada…63% of ALL Canada’s trade in the world is with the US. Look at it this way…The US trades more with Canada than the other 20 Canadian trading partners COMBINED!!! Canada as a world economic power…well, it just isn’t.

And if you are thinking about getting twisted up about Canadian lumber controlling the house building in the US…don’t! Canadian lumber products represents only about 12-17% of total consumption of the US house building industry. And that can easily be made up by US forests and lumber industry…easily!

To be fair and compassionate…there is some good to be found in Canada…

• Pierre Marcel Poilievre is a Canadian politician who has been the leader of the official opposition and of the leader of the Conservative Party. This guy is a plain speaking, down-to-earth, intelligent, commonsense guy that is brave enough to tell it as it is.
• About 40% of Canada is called “conservative”…meaning more intelligent generally speaking. But, I am not entirely sure how Canadian and US definitions of “conservative” match up. But it does give some margin of hope…slim as it might be.
• Canadian bacon rocks! Although it isn’t really bacon…it is ham. Must be a language thing.

Basically, Canada is a huge, fat “nothing burger” in the bigger scheme of things…and certainly when it comes to importance to the United States. Okay, granted…Canada ain’t even much when it comes to relevance in the entire world if truth be told.

And let me close with this…Canada’s history-based relationship with the US…well, remember Canada sided with England in our war for independence from English tyranny and oppression. And when the war was over…and the US won…the enemy English loyalists (Tories) ran to Canada for sanctuary. Canada remained part of that British Empire until 1982…and Canada is still under the English Monarchy today.

So, when it comes to Canada…

Forget about ‘em!

P.S. For anyone wanting to talk Canadian hockey…

• Canada only has a single MLB baseball (real sport) team. It’s been more than 3 decades since Canada won the baseball World Series. And then, only twice in more than 3 decades.
• Canada has only a single NBA basketball (real sport) team…Toronto Raptors. In 3 decades they won 1 Championship.
• Canada doesn’t even has a NFL football (real sport) team.
• As for hockey, is hockey even a real sport?  Nah! Just a fistfight on a frozen pond!

I’m sure everyone has been waiting on pins and needles to hear my take on Trump’s speech last night. Uh, right.

I watched his speech last night from start to finish and my #1 take-away…Trump is a masterful politician. Yup, he knows how to play to the crowd and to the cameras. He knows all the buttons to push…good and bad. He knows how to gin up a crowd and play to people’s emotions. Trump…a consummate politician.

My favorite moment of the night…

“The United States has sent hundreds of billions of dollars to support Ukraine’s defense.” Then Dems clapped in support of the Ukraine/Russian War and the hundreds of billions sent to fund that war. “You want to keep it going for another five years,” Trump shot back before singling out Senator Warren. “Pocahontas says yes.”

If you remember, it was Warren that claimed she was native American when there is zero DNA in Warren to back up that claim.

No doubt Trump has upset the apple cart in his first 40 days in office. Most of which I am thrilled to see. Slashing the federal workforce is fantastic!! Let’s get it down to about 20% of what is was under Biden. Finding waste, fraud, and abuse of taxpayer hard earned money is amazing!!! Let’s cut the federal budget by at least 3 – 4 trillion dollars! Reciprocal tariffs is just common sense and will help American companies and workers like never before! Yes, there may be some issues and pain along the way, but reciprocal tariffs is a great long-game move.

I am 100% in favor of border security…and I mean SECURITY!! Sending the military to the border is exactly what they should be doing and should have been doing all along…protecting America. What I am not in favor of are the border patrol checkpoints located away from the border. These are nothing more than “Papers pleaze! Show us your papers!!”

The “Privileges and Immunities Clause” of the United States Constitution guarantees the right to freedom of movement of US citizens within the United States. And that right has been upheld for 150 – 200 years through various Supreme Court cases. But for some reason the Federal government, in its quest to establish a police state, has ignored those rulings and the Constitution.

Let Border Patrol finally do their job…ON THE BORDER! And they can keep their freaking hands off US citizens inside the US. Better yet…eliminate Border Patrol and return the job to the US military.

The most discouraging part of the speech appeared multiple times during non-political moments when Trump was recognizing people for their sacrifices, loss, achievements, and special circumstances. For the most part the Dems were silent in their behavior…shameful!

I am going to back track for a moment…here is my replacement #1 take-away…

The United States is irrevocably split…the US Empire is fractured to the point of no return. Granted, Trump may give back some much needed glory and prosperity to the old USA, but he can’t save it. Why? Simple…the Republican and Democrat parties…our two party system. President George Washington saw it over 200 years ago and warned us against splintering into a two political party system. We, citizens of the US, ignored that warning and we are speeding down the path of our destruction. And history has proven there is no exit ramp for our destruction. Sadly, there is no desire of either party to even look for that exit ramp…they are both too concerned, too dedicated, too obsessed with their lust for power and money.

More than ever there is a need for all good people to decide who they are, what they believe in, and then follow through with those convictions. Political parties and politicians, are not the answer, they have never been the answer…and never will be. We have been repeatedly warned for nearly 300 years that government is not, and never has been, the answer…government is the problem.

For 200 years the following has been true…

“That government is best which governs the least.”

But there is actually more to that quote that is often left out…

“That government is best which governs the least, because its people discipline themselves.”

Is that possible today? Of course not…the political parties and politicians have seen to that.

By figuring out who you are and what your principles are gives you the ability to discipline yourself…and become self-reliant. And self-reliance…well, it is the goal is it not.

I received this comment to my “Demonic” article. Fortunately it was not automatically approved and posted. It came to me for approval. Obviously I wasn’t going to approve it with his name and message as is.

Rather, I want to point out this is the kind of demonic evil that is out there. I am not saying the person is, I am saying some of his beliefs and some of his actions are. So as not to give him recognition by using his real name I will simply call him “Aaron Kosminski”.

Here is the comment he made…

“I, [Aaron Kosminski] renounced Christianity instead. to worship Satan. I find that more complete. I reject the Abrahamic self proclaimed and selfish. Satan is my Lord and God. Besides it is a lot more fulfilling and sexually arousing. I could go on about the inconsistent and contradictory scriptures. Instead I will leave it at that. But dear don’t be hard on yourself because that’s what jehova would enjoyment.”

At first I thought it was a “bot” at work, they’ve hit the site before. But I did a little investigating and found the his actual name is real. And here is what I found…

His words…“Just your average American gay male who identifies with Satan and has an insatiable appetite for new found knowledge and self gratification.”

I then found that he “was arrested in [town name withheld] on a charge of DWAI combined drugs/alcohol.”

He self-identifies as a “Gay Satanist”

Then I found this…on “Nov 11, 2024 made known to all that I worship and follow my Lord in private and subtle public statement that I have been a Satanist for the last 13 years. I’m an open minded faggot, who will do anything to satisfy his Master.”

I’ve told you for years that evil exists, that demonic actions and behavior is real…this is living proof of such. Be forewarned, be aware, be careful. People like Aaron Kosminski can be dangerous, especially if the norms of society breakdown. In critical stressful situations who knows what he could be capable of with that kind of darkness in his heart. He is already doing immense damage to himself, others, and society in general; imagine what he could do given the chance in incidents with no boundaries.

Hopefully something will occur in his life that he can have God touch his heart to the point of turning back to Him, the creator of all, our Heavenly Father who is full of love and grace who is willing to accept all who come to Him. If you feel so moved, a prayer on his behalf would be nice.

Well, I figured it was time for an update on life here on the glamstead. Might explain the 20-day quiet spell just a bit. And FWIW…there is a ‘summary’ at the end that wraps it all up.

Fruit Trees –

Let’s see, where do I start? Let’s begin with the orchard…4 new fruit trees ship on Monday from Stark Brothers. Over the last 2 weeks I’ve been digging the 4’x3’ holes. But before I could do that I have to rip 12” of the top dirt, then spread a whole bunch of partially composted organic matter, and then disc it in…over a 125’ x 150’ area. And for the tree holes I had to ‘make’ the dirt…or rather potting soil. I had some non-screened compost that I got for free but I had to ½” screen it to get the rich dirt for the holes. And yes, I had to build the screen contraption first. And yes, the holes are done waiting for the trees. Oh, and I am flooding the holes every other day to get lots and lost of moisture in the ground…I’ll never get that good of chance again.

And while I was doing orchard work I dug some more tree drip edge irrigation ditches around the 3-year old trees. Not terribly hard work but lots of digging, fertilizing, and then back-filling with rough pine straw mulch. This will give the more mature fruit trees a huge boost in growth and fruit production this coming season.

Solar System –

Hey, let me talk solar for just a minute…Back on Feb 3^rd I wrote about “Trouble in Solar Paradise” and whined about a problem with my batteries, one battery in particular. Well, good news and great news. The good news is the battery that I thought had started to go weak, didn’t; that battery is just fine. I decided to really watch the battery and I noticed something weird and unexpected. Then I reviewed my battery energy usage, charging, and discharging history charts. And compared that to monitoring the State of Charge (SoC) lights for 20 days. Something I had never seen before was coming to light, so I found a number of articles that described what I was seeing. Bottom line…nothing wrong with the battery; for a couple of different reasons it was just somethings charging first and mostest compared to the other batteries. The key was what the whole battery bank was doing…and it was doing just fine.

Here was the problem…that turns out great…I already had committed to sell the biggest battery to a friend and neighbor who has one just like it; he wanted to pair it up and was willing to pay a fair price. So I figured with the money he was going to pay be I would just get another 2 new of the MidNite batteries to replace it. I wanted to figure out the best integration method of the now 4 new MidNite batteries, I came across a number of really good articles regarding the new MidNite batteries and integration with Victron…VERY positive articles. And that got me thinking… Yeah, Ooooppppppsssssss!

Well, let’s cut this a bit short…I am now getting 8 new MidNite batteries. And by selling the 3 batteries I have and the trade I mentioned in the last article, it should be a zero sum purchase. YEA! 8 brand new batteries (25% boost in energy storage) AND the ability of all the batteries to talk with each other for smoother operation AND the ability of the battery bank to talk with my Victron system for more efficiency, safer operation, and way better monitoring. And that got me thinking… Yeah, Ooooppppppsssssss!

Well again, I was looking for the best way to configure the new battery bank and then the best way to connect the power to the rest of the system. And yes, I found some new equipment and better methodology to upgrade my system. Thankfully, once again I was able to do the old zero sum cost to the upgrade. I can sell my soon to be unused components which will cover the cost of the new equipment. Yea!!! Now I just have to wait for the new batteries to show up in about 3 weeks.

Here is the kicker…I probably have 60+ hours in all the research and dealing to get the new solar stuff figured out. Actually, probably more than that. But it takes time…and lot’s of real concentration. But it will be very worth it when it is all upgraded. Think…electric baseboard heating!

Serving –

Now let’s talk about serving others. It was weird a couple of weeks ago while talking with some really close friends of ours. They are well-off, far better than us financially. But, they have their struggles just like everyone else. And on top of that, because they are well-off some people take advantage of them and others openly express jealousy/envy. But I also see some of their generosity with others who are in need. Okay, back to the visit…out of the blue I was prompted to ask them is they like blackberries and raspberries. Husband likes raspberries, wife likes blackberries. Next question was if they had a berry patch. They did not. They hadn’t even had a strawberry patch until I gave them some plant starts last spring; and they love strawberries!

I told them to mark out about a18” x 12’ patch for each type of berry; I was going to start their berry patch for them. They resisted a bit, but I persisted. Honestly, I don’t think they thought I was serious. About a week and a half ago I went over to their house and started digging their patch. It took me 3 trips, maybe 12 hours total to get the trenches dug and dirt made. The patch is in nasty clay soil. Yeah, I had to make a real good potting soil mix coz the soil that came out of the trenches was pure clay crap. Friday I planted the starts; 3 really nice blackberry plants and 5 raspberry plants. Then added the irrigation and then mulched it all in. Another 6 hours.

The husband, my friend, was in disbelief. He wanted to pay me for doing it, I turned him down. He wanted to pay me for all the soil amendments and irrigation stuff, I turned him down. He didn’t quite understand. I explained that I was clearly prompted to do this and because they did so much for others, this was just something small for them…a general thank you from the universe. Serving others is a reward in itself.

Gate –

Remember I mentioned back in the first week in January the new gate for our glamstead? Yeah, problems…wind to be exact. I’ve installed farm gates before, I’m no novice. But that dang automatic gate opener was something entirely new to me…and it showed. For about 6 weeks we had a host of issues with the gate. It boiled down to the effects of our windy days had on the system. When I say windy I am talking sustained at 30 – 35mph and gusts to 50 – 55mph.

Bottom line I had to figure out the different settings such as ‘force’ and how to adjust the closed position by fine tuning the ‘jog’ setting. To make the boring story less painful…about 25 – 30 hours to get it right. So yesterday was hopefully the last day I have to do anything more than periodic maintenance to the system.

But, this is why I point it out…security. The primary purpose to the new gate and approach area was to improve our property’s security profile.

Alarm System –

What? Where did that topic come from? About 2 or 3 weeks ago I started thinking about our old security system. Why? Remember I spoke some time ago about adding driveway alarms to the glamstead as an early warning sign of folks approaching the house? You can’t see our house from the road…which means you can’t see the road from the house…and about 500’ of the 750’ driveway remains blind. Over the last 5 years we’ve had a few folks who we didn’t know drive up to the house without us knowing. That doesn’t happen anymore.

Almost 2 years ago we purchased an outdoor camera system that can be monitored from our computer or our phones. I won’t go into all the details but suffice to say I wasn’t happy with the system overall.

Now add this into the mix…when we bought our land 10 years ago there was no one else living full-time out here and very few weekenders. If I heard any vehicle while building the cabin it would be maybe once a week or so. Then 5 years later it would be every couple of days. Now, there are probably 15 people living out here or who are active weekenders. And more off-roaders (ATV/UTVs & bikes). A neighbor caught someone going down their driveway, then down a 2-track path between their place and ours. My neighbor stopped them just as they were going to pass through our back fence/gate onto our property. Not good!!

Shortening the story…it was time to resurrect the old SimpliSafe system, add some equipment to it, and get it back up and running. So there has been 20 hours or so figuring it all out.

Why the focus on this? A clear prompting that our security needed to be ramped up so it could be professionally monitored and cameras we could monitor ourselves via phone when we are away from the house, or via computer when we are home. One other factor…I wanted a monitored smoke alarm in the attached utility room where the solar system equipment is.

Yes…a very clear yes. I am concerned about our security here on the glamstead. Crime is climbing, violence going up, whether around the country or even here locally. I knew it was time to improve our safety and security.

Summary –

There are three reasons for the ‘summary’…1) to partially justify my lack of postings due to being super, super busy, 2) to point out some issues, primarily upswing in security needs for everyone, 3) to encourage folks to serve. And oddly, maybe not serve those who you would normally think of serving. Just follow the promptings you get on who to serve, when to serve them, and how to serve them. Forget worrying about why to serve them…just do it!

Look, I get it…Trump was elected and he is shaking up Washington like I never expected. He is doing a great job and I hope he stays after it. Just a thought…gas is up 1cent under Trump. Not a big deal but it hasn’t dropped like the last time he was elected. The most recent inflation figures shows inflation rising. No, not Trump’s fault at all…but it is up. Who knows what tariff increases will do. Okay, I am not going to go on about it…but the country is very, very economically unstable right now.

Yes, I know there are whole lot of people who idolize Trump and think he has brought a new era of peace and prosperity to the nation…and all it well. I don’t agree. Yes, Trump is going great work from what I can see. But all is not well.

Trump is shaking up the biggest moochers and freeloaders in the nation…federal workers and government contractors. And they are starting to protest against Trump. The protests are not numerous or large…but that could change in a heartbeat. If a union such as SEIU, Teamsters, Autoworkers, or teacher unions join in…and then add in groups such as AntiFa and BLM, the protest could get large, widespread, violent, and destructive.

Yes, the arrest and deportation of criminal illegal aliens is ramping up and is a beautiful sight to behold. And violent gangs are being especially targeted…yea! But violent crime is not decreasing, nor is property crime.

Why all the trivia? I am prompted to make our place safer and more secure; making it less prone to property crimes or us less prone to violent crimes.

How are you seeing crime and violence in the US? Are you feeling promptings in this area?

We actually stepped up our prepping since Trump was elected…we didn’t fall into some false sense of complacency and euphoria. Trump is not going to prevent the fall of the US Empire. Granted, he may slow it down…but that is prolonging, not preventing. The forces of evil in the world, in this country, are not vanquished or asleep. They are still there, quietly planning, taking steps behind the scenes, identifying weaknesses to exploit, bidding their time.

We are dedicated to preparing and being in the best position we can be in for when the time comes. And I am telling you…the time is coming.

It’s been an interesting couple of weeks…to say the least. Trump is full-on going after all of it! Yeah, you’ve heard of asymmetrical warfare? Well, Trump is engaging in all-out asymmetrical politics. He is going after the political establishment, the federal government, from all angles, in varying degrees, in dozens of ways each day. And the opposition is in chaos and reeling back on its heals. Yea Trump!

I am thrilled to see the feds finally getting off their collective asses and arresting criminal illegal aliens…and better yet, deporting them by the plane-load! It warmed my heart to see Trump read the riot act to Chile…and see Chile change their tune and accept their criminal citizens back home. And this program of buying out federal workers…simply genius in action. Think about how better off the entire country is with far fewer freeloaders…now if Trump gets the federal workforce down by 90%…that would be the best thing to happen to the US in the last 200 years!

But there is a downside to all of this…the noise and static. I think Trump is zeroing in on having issued nearly 40 Executive Orders, then add in his proclamations, his firings, his…well everything, every action starting on January 20^th and you have an amazing amount of activity taking place at the national level. The Dems, and some Republicans, are simply overwhelmed by all of it. Lawsuits are being filed, court orders are being issued, retaliatory threats are being made, and some smokey backroom meetings are being held, as well as nefarious deals being made by the opposition.

What does this have to do with you and me? Well, if we try to keep up with it we will be on the computer, in front of the TV, listening to the radio, or scanning app feeds on our cell phones 24/7. And that ain’t good…not good at all. It is entirely too distracting!

First off, how does any of it affect you and I as individuals? Virtually not at all. Second, what could we do about any of it even if we wanted to? Nothing, if you are the average person. The key to it that I am talking about is the “distraction” aspect. While spending all that time trying to keep up with the actions and reactions, the comments, threats, and court injunctions…well, what are we missing in our daily lives that truly matters and that we have control over?

What have I been doing the last 10 days since Trump-the-Amazing was sworn in? Finished up the improved security on my gate to the glamstead, installing driveway alarms, increasing the area for a potential garden, pruning our fruit tress, and enlarging our orchard. And those are just some of the reasons I’ve not posted anything at all since his inauguration. Yup, none of the national level activities was particularly noteworthy, I can’t see anything that personally affects us or people I know, and it is all stuff that Trump said he would do…nothing new really.

Sure, I’ve been scanning the headlines, watching the news while eating, and monitoring deeper information sources…but nothing has really shown up that is truly important. That doesn’t mean that a lot isn’t happening…to the contrary, much is happening most of which is good, if not terrific. Trying to keep up with all the details and commentary is a complete waste of time…little more than noise and static. And as I stated earlier…both are distracting…distracting us from what is really important.

I want to encourage you to turn off the noise and ignore the static taking place right now. It’s all politics, some good some bad, nothing new when you get right down to it. I called it “Asymmetrical Politics” earlier…it is political warfare…it is dangerous, it is brutal, and we don’t know who will win when the dust settles. And unless you are someone I am not aware of…you have ZERO influence on it…and it probably has no direct significant affect on you personally. So why worry about it? Why get involved in it?

Let this all play out…and it will play out. Neither political side will stand by and just let things roll…but that is just politics and their antics. And when it gets too far out of line with the real power in the US…then you will see the dangerous party start. Until the real power starts moving there is nothing to it that’s really all that worthwhile.

What I want to caution you about is the distraction. Stay focused on what is important to you, your family, your community, and your congregation. Keep working on that which you know makes a difference…especially when it comes to prepping. If you are in doubt on what to do…read the series “What can I do?”

Turn off the noise…ignore the static…neither of it is helping any of us one little bit.

Let’s cover a couple of facts* first:

• TikToc is a social media app used by close to 170,000,000 people in the US, 1billion users worldwide.
• TikToc earns about $20billion yearly from the US.
• TiKToc influencers/creators earn between $15,000 – $25,000 per year (median).
• There are about 50,000 US based TicTok influencers.
• US TikToc influencers generate at least $750,000,000 – $1.25billion annually for the US economy…and personal income for US citizens.

Here are the two most disturbing facts about TikToc; 1) TikToc gathers huge (and I mean massive) amounts of user data, 2) when you get down to the nitty-gritty, the Communist Party in China owns TikToc.

If you want to boil it all down more, a couple of things begin to clarify:

1. TikToc is wildly popular and generates a huge amount of money for the little guy here in the United States.
2. TikToc sends all that user data of US citizens to a massive data farm in China that provides valuable information to the intelligence service of the #1 enemy of the United States.

So what is the problem? Well, the real problem is the US Supreme Court (SCOTUS) ruling to uphold the TikToc ban in the US. Wait a minute…it’s a danger to the security of the US right? Up to debate, but probably…almost certainly true. Why/how? It opens users’ phones to hacking by China in addition to all that user data going to our biggest enemy. So SCOTUS was right to ban it, right? No!

The anti-TikToc law was written based on the security threat aspect it posed to the United States. SCOTUS also upheld the law for the same reason. TikToc was arguing that the ban violated 1^st Amendment ‘free speech’ rights. So, banning TikToc was still the right thing to do, right? No!

SCOTUS ruled that a foreign company doesn’t have free speech rights in the United States. And that might be true, I am no legal scholar to that point. But, the ruling wasn’t about the company’s free speech…it was actually about the users’ and influencers’ free speech rights. And those free speech rights were absolutely and definitely violated…without any question!

But our enemy benefits from all the US users’ data…a national security issue…SCOTUS was right!!! Ah, no.

There are two completely separate issues here:

1. US citizen users’ right to free speech, a Constitutionally protected right.
2. China using TikToc for spying purposes, an illegal activity in the United States.

So what is the answer? I am not 100% sure, but consider this:

• Prove in court that the TikToc data is going back to China’s intelligence service. Then prosecute all the related folks (including the 38,000 TikToc employees) for spying.
• Educate US users on how to protect their data from being collected.
• Pass a law that apps can’t gather any user data.

You see, the 1^st Amendment right to free speech isn’t to protect the speech you like and approve of…it is to protect all speech. When you start to invoke “national security” or “security risk” to a Constitutional guaranteed right…then it becomes very, very easy to hinder or eliminate that right. And that leads directly to a police/security state…then authoritarianism. And then my friend…all rights, freedoms, and liberties are dead.

Last thought…why is there no huge initiative or program to educate app (i.e. cell phones) users on how to protect their data and/or make it illegal to gather that user data? Well, that is simple…the US government spy agencies do the very same thing that China is being accused of. The NSA, DHS, FBI, DNI, CIA…all of them capture the very same data that China does. And those very same US agencies use it against US citizens every single day, all day long. So if we are going to ban apps due to data being collected by spy agencies…well, there would be no more apps in the US.

So the real problem here…the US Supreme Court moved the US another step closer towards authoritarianism and the loss of yet more rights, freedoms, and liberties. And who exactly is talking about that? Certainly not US secret police agencies.

Personal Note : Why Am I a Prepper –

• I am a prepper because I want to be charitable. The scriptures tell us to be charitable, preppers (true preppers) are just that. In times of emergencies and disasters preppers can be the first ones to feed their own family, their extended family, neighbors, fellow congregation members, etc. And that can take place immediately, not the days and weeks it takes for government relief efforts to kick in.
• I am a prepper because it makes me feel secure. Whatever life throws at me I know I can at least feed, clothe, put/keep a roof over my family’s head, and provide them with clean/safe drinking water.
• I am prepper because I love to learn new things, especially useful skills. I can operate a Ham radio, I can build a solar system, and I can reload my own ammunition, grow my own food to name just a few skills.
• I am a prepper because I get to use all my cool gear and equipment when I go camping, hiking, or helping a neighbor. It is a whole lot of fun that I can share with family and friends.
• I am a prepper because I don’t trust the government to do a good job of taking care of me, my family, or anyone else. I mean, seriously, tell me something, anything, that the government does well. I don’t want to be depending on some government bureaucrat to be in control of my family’s safety, comfort, or future.
• I am a prepper because I don’t want to depend on the media or the government for my information. I want to be able to know what is going on myself, directly. I don’t need their bias and “slant” on what I learn. I can think critically because I am a prepper.
• I am a prepper because I want to be a contributor not a taker. I want to be an asset to my family, my friends, my congregation, my neighbors, and my community. I don’t want them to go hungry waiting on MREs to be pushed off the back of some National Guard truck. I want to be able to grab my tractor and grade a road or use my chainsaw to clear a tree from that road or a neighbor’s house.

Mostly though, I can’t tell you the single most powerful and underlying reason I am a prepper. It’s not because I don’t want to tell you, but it is simply because I can’t explain it to you. I actually can’t relate it to you because it “tastes like salt.” Yeah, try telling someone what salt tastes like. Unless you know what being prepared feels like, I can’t get that feeling across to you. I wish I could, I really wish I could.

But I can tell you this, I can feed my family, I can provide fresh clean water for them, I can house them, I can communicate with them, I can keep them warm, I can grow food for them, and I have the means to protect them if needed.

Can you imagine if more families could do that? How about if the vast majority of families in America could do that…free of any government intervention/interference? Free of government dependence. What would that mean for our communities and for our whole country to be independent of the government? Pretty sweet in my opinion if we could be more self-reliant.

In the first article of this series I listed a whole bunch of things you can do as a prepper to make a difference. Let me add tot hat list:

• Cut a neighbor’s grass for them.
• Change a tire for an elderly couple or mom with kids on the side of the road.
• Take a meal to a needy family.
• Take a not-so-close friend shooting for a morning.
• Join a Neighborhood Watch group.
• Form a Neighborhood Watch group.
• Take some garden vegetables to your neighbor.
• Weed a neighbor’s garden for them.
• Ask someone to go to church with you.
• Go to church every Sunday yourself…and listen to the Spirit while you are there.
• Live your religion.
• Invite a family that you know to come over for a lunch.
• Attend a class or seminar on the Constitution.
• Start a Constitution study group.

You want to make a difference? You want to know what you can do? Along with becoming prepared and self-reliant…serve. Serve others with small, medium, and large acts of kindness…provide tender mercies for them and their families. I have no idea what those acts can be…but you can figure it out. Eventually being properly “prepared” physically, mentally, and spiritually means being able to serve/help others.

Summary –

Prepare or not. Prepare in a haphazard wandering manner or in an organized and systematic manner. Prepare for the right things or stumble around in the dark. It is all up to you. I can’t make you learn. Hell, I can’t even motivate you to learn, let alone prepare. The motivation must be yours and the “action” part is entirely up to you. All I can do is present information, my knowledge, and my experience to you. What you do with it…or not…is completely your decision to make.

Yeah that sounds a little bit like tough love…so be it. I’ve been at this a very long time and seen all sorts of people come and go in the prepper world. Some well intentioned, some only motivated by profit, a couple actually informants for the government. But the absolute worst of the lot…people representing themselves as ‘experts’ and giving out info that is worthless…or information that could get you injured or killed.

I still remember maybe 10 or 15 years ago a dimwit stating that the absolute best survival clothing was cotton jogging pants and sweatshirts, with tennis shoes. She swore that would meet every single requirement of emergency preparedness in all weather conditions. DIMWIT!!!!

I believe it was also the same ‘expert’ that said a bugout bag needed to only provide you with 72-hours of supplies. Okay, so I ask…what do you do after 72-hours? Another ‘expert’ preached only needing 1 years supply of beans, oats, wheat, and rice for food storage. Well, that person has no clue about nutrition, calorie usage/needs, or food fatigue…or even reality if truth be told.

Enough of that…you get my point…use qualified experts for your information and to learn skills. Others can easily turn you and your family into casualties.

If you have any desire to prepare, to become more self-reliant, and wish to do so with a high potential for success, then consider the information I have shared with you. See if it applies and if so, how it applies.

Here is a great tidbit of help…check lists. Yup, some time back I developed a series of check lists that coincide with each of the “7” to very accurately let you know where you are in being prepared. I would highly recommend you download each check list and use it.

Let me close with this…you can get prepared…you can become more self-reliant. Yup, you surely can…I promise you that. It will take time, effort, learning, and money to do so…but it is a realistic expectation to get there. Here is my last bit of wisdom in this prepper journey…it’s more a lifestyle not a hobby.

I’ve been prepping for decades…and TEOTWAWKI has not happened, nor has a wildfire swept through my community threatening my home, nor has an earthquake hit our region. I’ve never had to draw my weapon to defend myself or others…once it came close. I can tell you this…I’ve used my medical kit(s) and training a fair amount. And our water storage was used multiple times when the main water supply was interrupted. But the big grid-down event hasn’t happened to us…and maybe never will.

Have all our efforts been in vain? Nope! Because there is a great sense of security that comes with knowing you can handle an incident in a pretty self-reliant way. And yeah, even stretch out that reliance in a way to help others.

And while the ‘big event’ hasn’t happened…it doesn’t mean it won’t. And if it does…maybe tomorrow…we have a decent chance at handling it. But there is great solace in knowing we’ve done our best. I guess you could call it security…or peace of mind.

Why did I use the comparison of ‘lifestyle’ vs ‘hobby’? If you only do it as a hobby you can quite easily get burned out. Yeah, you have everything you need to survive for 2 years after the whole end-of-the-world event…and that event never happens. And all that stuff takes up a lot of room in the garage and basement…and your spouse complains about it. It makes it real easy to include all that prepper stuff in your next garage sale.

If your prepping is your lifestyle you don’t burn out because you know it could easily be a lifesaver great or small. And you love the sense of security that it gives you for your family.

Let me close with this simple message…you can do this and there are lots of folks out there just like you who also want to do this. Now, start prepping and hook up with some of those folks and support each other. One step at a time, one foot in front of another…you eat an elephant one bite at a time…be patient.

I hope in this series of articles I have answered the original question “What can I do?” I can imagine that most readers already knew most of this information. What I am hoping for is that some little piece of information struck you as important in some way…to inspire you to be a better prepper. Being a prepper is never a waste…everything you have, everything you’ve learned is useful. At some point it may even be lifesaving.

If you still don’t know exactly what to do…I would ask you to pray about it. Simply ask what it is you should do…it doesn’t have to be a complicated prayer. Just ask with real intent to hear the answer…and you will.

We have covered a whole lot of ground answering the question “What can I do?”…and I am not done yet. There is still this whole area that I have labeled “non-conventional”…and I think it could easily be the most interesting.

Granted, “What can I do? (Principles)” was pretty cool to dive into who you are as a person and what you believe in and are truly committed to. But this area is pretty dang…well, non-conventional and that alone I think makes it interesting.

Start becoming a non-conformist.That’s pretty non-conventional…yeah?

Basically a conformist is a person who behaves and thinks like most other people, often avoiding actions or ideas that are different or unusual. The term is often used in a disapproving way to describe someone who follows societal norms and standards without questioning them. What? Yeah, a true sheep.

Think about it for a minute…what does public education do more than anything else? Teaches you to conform to their standards. But…who sets the nation’s educational standards? A bunch of federal and state level bureaucrats and politicians.

If you join the military what do they teach you? To conform to a very rigid set of standards without questioning and without hesitation. Why? Because they want you to be able to kill people and destroy stuff without question or even without thought.

Daily we see law enforcement officers who work for various levels of law enforcement agencies doing what? “Enforcing” laws. Sound weird? Well, they are almost complete failures at actually solving crimes…statistics prove that. So what is their actual job? Teaching everyone to conform to every law, rule, regulation, code, ordinance, and even their own personal commands…without hesitation, without questioning, without even thinking.

So what does that all mean? Sheep, with plenty of herding dogs, are easily controlled, produce lots of wool…and give birth to lambs for the slaughter.

Governments’ goal is to make the population conform, to make the population easy to control (power)…while making the population produce (funneling money/resources to the government).

Let me clear this up right now…I am not advocating becoming an outlaw…I am suggesting you become less of a conformist. Why? It was Thomas Jefferson who said to “question everything”. Not in the context of rejecting all laws, norms, morals, etc., but simply to challenge them to prove them right or come up with a better way. Such as when the Founders challenged the right of the British Empire to exercise tyrannical rule and excessive taxation over the colonies.

Conforming…Society now pictures the perfect family as two persons (unknown and undefined gender) raising one, maybe two, children (unknown and undefined gender) in a house (they can barely afford) where both adults work a job and the children have been surrendered to the government education/care system at the age of 3 – 4…for the next 15 – 19 years. Oddly, we know statistically that this is the worst possible scenario for children and families.

Non-conforming…Statistics are everywhere that show families with a mother (female) and father (male) both present in the home, the father working, the mother at home caring for their children is the best parental/family model. Additionally, statistics show that children who are home schooled have better SAT scores, and do better in college than government educated students. And everyone involved in this traditional family setting are less likely to get involved in drugs, less likely to catch STDs, less likely to become criminals, more likely to have a happier home life as adults, far few instances of suicide, and more likely to be willing to serve others.

But the government (at all levels), and society in general, pushes people away from the more fulfilling lifestyle into situations that strap a family financially and push mothers out of the home into the job market…and throw children into the hands of the government education and care system. Think about these items of fact:

• Homes cost 80 times more now than just 60 years ago.
• Vehicles cost 10 – 20 times more than the average home did 60 years ago.
• Middle class % of US population down by 20% in the last 60 years.
• Middle class % of US wealth down by more than 20% in the last 60 years.
• Top 1/10th of 1% of wealthy people have seen their % of US wealth double in the last 60 years.
• Federal government workforce up over 30% in the last 60 years.
• Household debt is up 1500% in the last 60 years.
• US national debt is up from $300billion to $36trillion in the last 60 years…that’s an increase of 1100%.

Notice anything there? Anything stand out to you there? Any little whisperings come into your mind and/or heart?

So society paints a picture of a large beautiful new home for families, two new(er) vehicles in the driveway, fancy vacations and/or cruises each year, latest in phones, jewelry, computers, TVs, and clothing. And of course government providing home loans, consumer purchase incentives, tax credits and motivation to keep people buying and borrowing.

Honestly, answer this…Why do you think that is?

Government at all levels push back against church based charity, community self-sufficiency, and neighbors taking care of neighbors. Government provides highly-paid firefighters and LEOs, multiple levels of disaster agencies, hundreds of welfare programs, and of course FEMA to care for us in the event of emergencies and disasters.

60 years ago average families had large gardens, most families preserved some amount of their food, many families even raised chickens and rabbits for eggs and meat, and farmers were self-sufficient. Now…well, the city, county, or the HOA will fine the hell out of any family that tries to color outside of the lines. The USDA is even regulating (i.e. putting out of business) most small farmers who want to provide food direct to consumers.

Why do you think all of this is? Why has society so radically changed for the worse over the last 6+ decades? What do you think their end-game, their end-state, their goal really is?

Why do you think society wants us dependent on a small group of health providers, a small group of grocery providers, a small group of retailers, a small group of corporate farms, and a small group of professionals…who ironically enough are all tightly regulated by the government?

Maybe you can answer all of those questions…maybe not. But that is not my real point. My point is this…everything the government does, everything that society is all about, is to make you conform…conform to their vision of who you should be and how you should live your life. And that conforming process starts as soon as you enter the ‘system’…usually ‘childcare’ at the age of 3. And it is surely in full swing by the age of 5 when children enter kindergarten.

So how do you not conform?

Don’t get caught up in the debt trap. Buy only what you can afford, and be very prudent on what that is. Avoid debt…it becomes the master and you become the servant!!! You end up working to pay your debts…not paying to enjoy life with your family.

Don’t get caught up in the job trap. Your job is NOT you. Do you have a job to provide for your family and your family fulfills you? Or does your job define you and you look to your job to fulfill you? Should your job should be the mechanism to provide for your family…and your family fulfills you?

Don’t get caught up in the food trap. Raise some amount of wholesome food that you grow personally. You can also buy food from local sources such as farmers and ranchers. Cook food for meals…yeah, actually cook it not heat it or microwave it.

Don’t get caught up in the government schooling trap. Homeschool your kids, give them the education that teaches them, that gives them knowledge, and encourages them to think for themselves.

Don’t get caught up in the 2-person income trap. ALL stats show that a man working to provide for his family and the mother caring for the children is the #1 way to raise a family successfully.

What???? Challenge a 2-person income family setting???? Yup!

Let’s say you are a family who wants 3 children. Slightly larger than the average family but way smaller than many families. You ready for this?

Try this on for this scenario…the US average cost to raise a child is about $1,400 per month (mostly day care, schooling, clothing, transportation, etc.) The average cost of clothing, make-up, etc for a working woman is about $300 per month. The average employed woman spends about $200 more per month on their car payment. The average employed woman spends about $175 per month more for gas than stay at home moms.

Conservatively the stay at home mom who home schools can save the family between $2,800 – $4,800 per month…and that doesn’t include any accounting for a garden, home cooked meals, thrifting for clothing and household goods, and a ton of other accomplishments.

Think this through for a minute…a stay at home mother would need to make over $33,000 per year at a job just to break even…and then hires out everything to someone else to raise her children. Oh wait…factoring in income taxes, social security tax, medicare tax, etc…it is actually over $46,000 per year.

Bummer…the median income for a woman in the US is just a slight bit higher than $42,000.

Think about that…the average wife/mother gets a job outside of the home…gets paid about $42,000 per year. The family loses about $4,000 per year…PLUS the government and strangers get to raise their children…instilling into those children morals, ethics, principles, and knowledge straight out of the hands and minds of government workers, politicians, and bureaucrats NOT the parents. Does this bring to mind any thoughts or ideas about why the country is where it is right now?

Challenge everything!!!!!!

Become the non-conformist. Do things the way it works best for you and your family. Take charge of your life, raise your children with standards and morals that match what you know to be right NOT what the government wants to brainwash them with. Raise a healthy and happy family according to what you know to be right…don’t let bankers, the government, lawyers, politicians, or bureaucrats dictate to you what is right.

Look, life is short. I am knocking at 70 now…and I can tell you this…life is real short, it goes by in the blink of eye. If you live your life by the dictates and expectations of others, especially the government…you cheat yourself and you cheat your family. Don’t lose this precious gift of life and family…stay away from the tyranny of government and the oppression of society. You can control your own life…so go do it!
