Left-Wing Extremist  Elizabeth Warren

Elizabeth Warren, the US Senator, the left-wing socialist extremist and Native American impersonator is at it again. Here is a quote from her “Did you fall down, hit your head, and think you woke up in the 1950’s or 1890’s?” Of course she was referring to the Senate attempting to defund Planned Parenthood. But the leftist Warren wasn’t done yet, “…a deliberate, methodical, orchestrated, right-wing attack on women’s rights.”

Yeah, uh huh…right.

If you read my article posted yesterday you know exactly my feeling on abortion.

Let’s get back to the woman who went on to say that the Republicans only wanted to strip away the right of a woman’s access to healthcare. Wow! Can you believe that someone can still think like that in the year 2015? Especially after having all the data, all the facts, and even the video-taped admissions of Planed Parenthood leadership. Those admissions detailing that they are performing abortions for profit and developing new ways to leave more baby body parts intact to sell for more money. They even outline how they plan to create deception trying to hide the fact that they are selling complete, intact, fully formed babies that have been aborted.

Now, granted, Elisabeth Warren is hard to take seriously when she is such a radical socialist that supports infanticide. Yes, that means she is perfectly OK with stabling babies in their heads with sharp surgical instruments and then severing their spines. And doing both of those things while the baby is alive and able to feel pain. Then she advocates for the organization that is selling the bodies and body parts of those babies that have been killed.

But ,Warren doesn’t want to refer to the killing of unborn babies as murder, infanticide, or racial genocide…although it is exactly all of those things.

So, I have to ask Senator Elizabeth Warren, “Did you fall down, hit your head, and think you woke up in 1939?”

Nazi Eugenics program learned from the founder of Planned Parenthood

FYI…1939 is when Nazis started the killing of the mentally ill, disabled, feeble and all others whose genes they considered to be “impure” and causing problems for their German race. The Nazi death program was called “eugenics.”

Eugenics is the same program that Planned Parenthood helped established here in the United States in the earlier part of the 1900’s. The founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger, is the same person whose organization and associates taught the Nazis about eugenics. The same Planned Parenthood that today is killing well over a million babies per year. And making a significant profit committing infanticide.

And a little more FYI, the exact same Planned Parenthood that the federal government gives over a half a billion dollars to each year to commit their atrocities.

I have to wonder, when people look back at this time period in history will they ask, “How did intelligent people, decent people, a so-called democracy commit infanticide killing millions of babies each year?”

People have already asked that question about Nazi Germany, “How could the good Germans stand-by and watch the trains full of Jews head towards the death camps, knowing full well that they would be placed in ovens?”

And throughout history people have looked back at dozens of times in history and asked the same question, “How could they have let that happen?”

What do think would be Warren’s answer, “How could you stand-by, no, actively support, the mass killing of babies each year, for nearly 50 years?”

How would you answer that question for yourself?

I am seeing some developments converging. These development are significant and important to us as preppers and Constitutionalists/Libertarians/Patriots…but it is mostly the convergence that makes this actionable.

I am working on a SitRep that will precede a series of “Take Action !” articles. Watch for the SitRep this week…I have to get my ducks in a row before I will publish it…you know how I am on being accurate with my information before I express my opinion.

The time is upon us.

note: I already have about 14 basic prepper articles in the hopper and scheduled for publication over the next 3 – 4 weeks. They are already to go and scheduled…so don’t think that I am distracted with the more mundane…or that the SitRep/Take Action ! articles will be just “ho hum”…this is important…very, very important stuff happening and about to happen.

Wow!  I’ve been working on 6 or 7 preparedness articles (radios to generators) to get them ready to post. But late today I made a huge mistake! I went to another preparedness website. I really shouldn’t have. Do you want to know why? Very, very discouraging!

Please don’t get me wrong…I go to other sites regularly to get up to speed on different current events and to get a sense of the attitude of other preppers out there. This was not good today…not good at all.

First, the website I visited is a large prepper website. But, they also get into dreams, visions, weird teachings, and some strange subjects that get pretty off the beaten path. The website is largely made up of Christians, as well as being overwhelmingly conservative. By in large I think the people are good, well-intentioned, and just decent people. But…based on many of the posts I read while I was there…dang…they have strayed from gospel and Constitutional principles…and maybe worse.

Let me explain with a couple of examples…there is a man out there who has led two successful operations against the federal government. He has gone up against federal law enforcement agencies twice and won. He has demonstrated solid Constitutional understanding, supported Founding Father principles, and basically been a man to be trusted and he is counted on to be on the side of right. But, he is now being demonized. Yup…demonized! Demonized by the same people who held him as a hero for a long time.

He was to attend a BLM rally to show support to defund police according to an article written about him. So first off, the article is second hand information as best. And people who were posting terrible comments about him never gave that a single thought…at least based on the tone of their writing. Next, we have no idea what exactly he means by defunding police. To defund their militarization is exactly in accordance with Founding Father principles and positions. Defund to do away with police is not realistic. Defunding federal law enforcement agencies to the point of making them go away is a basic Constitution compliant position/principle. But, no one was giving him a chance, benefit of the doubt, etc. Just condemning him was the flavor of the day.

Then another article about food shortages during a lockdown. Well, for bragging about being upright disciples of Christ…they sounded like anything but! They talked about not sharing any food at all and watching people starve to death. Another talked about putting people into virtual slavery just to eat. All the posts were similar in tone and content…if you weren’t prepared…oh well, too bad for you and your kids! It was sickening, let alone disheartening.

I could relate more but I won’t…it is just too depressing. We are seeing exactly what I have warned about. Brother against brother, the sifting of US citizens, breaking into tribes, increase in evil, predisposition for violence, etc. For those of you who are Christians…we are seeing the sifting of the wheat from the chaff spoken of in the scriptures in the last days.

Here is my bottom line message…PLEASE DON’T!!!!   Please don’t forget who you are. Please don’t forget why we prepare. Please don’t forget what is means to be a basic human being. Please don’t forget what it means to be a disciple of Christ. Please don’t forget…just please don’t forget!

Be the person who you are supposed to be. Be that leader that is generous, merciful, understanding, admired and appreciated. Be that follower that understands mercy. Be that Christian who understands what Christ wants us to be.

Stand for correct principles. Don’t get caught up in a crowd mentality. Avoid group think. Reach out to others and build bridges…don’t destroy them. Do not be part of the radical right. Do not be a law & order extremist. Understand who the real enemies are. Think clearly.

Please don’t become one of them…please.

Hey Ya’ll, good afternoon!

I was out early this morning, about 5:30am, working on my driveway, my 750’ driveway. I was doing some very physical labor moving heavy rock, gathering more rock, strategically placing that rock, then getting cinders and filling in and leveling. Then I topped the morning off with getting another load of big/heavy rock off my neighbor’s pile. I’ll place those on the driveway tomorrow morning and keep the project going till the sun gets too hot for me to work. So, the whole time I was working this morning I was thinking, pondering, evaluating, and considering a number of issues…worried about all of it. And that is what I want to talk about this morning.

Here’s the deal…I am writing this article completely for me. I need to get a few things off my chest and share with you some deep feelings and concerns…and some troubling thoughts. At first I thought it would be some kind of warning or a head’s up…but nope! This article is for me to unload some things. What you do with them is up to you. Actually, you may not even read the rest of the article…and I understand and don’t blame you a bit. So here goes, if you are interested…

I truly, honestly believe that we are -more than likely- at a tipping point due to the probability of a “Bubba Effect” event. And when that occurs, we are screwed…completely screwed.

But let me back up a bit. I am old enough to have lived through the race riots of the late 1960’s. It was a horrible time in America. To explain it would be difficult. Blacks felt very oppressed, they felt racism was rampant, that police brutality against blacks was intense and pervasive, and that they were not treated under a primary founding principle of our country, “…that all men are created equal…” And they were 100% right! And the race riots were their way of showing their frustration. Right or wrong…there it was…frustration and a certain sense of hopelessness.

I remember my dad saying some of the most vile and hateful things about blacks during that time. I remember him cleaning his gun and bragging about looking forward to those n*gg*rs coming to our town…then he pointed the gun at the door and dry fired it. I didn’t understand him then…unfortunately I understand him, and that experience, now.

We are there again…and worse. Why worse? Because there is more organization to the violent provocateurs, hyper-militarized police with a propensity to do extreme violence and violate the Constitution, an agenda driven media, a better organized violent right-wing opposition, and plenty more bubbas.

Let me share some more of my explanations of what I just mentioned…

* “violent provocateurs” – We are seeing a combination of a well-financed group pouring in millions of dollars towards organizations, mostly anarchist groups, to fund their violent activities. We are seeing a coalition of provocateurs who infiltrate peaceful protests and then escalate the situation into violence…solely to get a reaction, a violent reaction, from any law enforcement present against the civilians present.

* “hyper-militarized police with a propensity to do extreme violence and violate the Constitution” – Man, were do I start! I’ve been writing and warning about this for years and years now. And here we are. Several things have seriously gotten to me in the last few days.

1. Navy veteran, Naval Academy graduate, Christopher David…threatened, beaten, bones broken, and then pepper sprayed. Yeah…at the hands of DHS troops. But I am naturally cynical and skeptical by nature. So I had to look into this myself and my first question was, “Why was he there?” In his own words he stated that he was concerned about unidentified troops in military camouflage uniforms taking people off the street and putting them into unmarked vehicles, taking them to undisclosed locations, and not presenting them to a legal system court as required by the Constitution. OK, legitimate and admirable reason to be there. Next, “Was he threatening or aggressive towards the DHS troops?” I watched every video I could find about the encounter. It is plain, very plain and clear…he was NEVER threatening or aggressive, his body language was relaxed and casual. As DHS troops began pushing and shoving a group of female non-violent protestors he approached the DHS troops and asked them if they understood their oath to the Constitution and why were they violating it. One of the DHS troops aimed a fully automatic M4 military carbine at his chest, another DHS trooper then began to beat him with a long wooden crowd control baton, and finally another DHS trooper then doused him with a large amount of pepper spray directly into his eyes, nose and mouth from mere inches away. David finally just turned and walked away with chemical burns to his eyes and respiratory system and multiple broken bones. In what universe is this acceptable behavior on the part of anyone who remotely claims to be law enforcement?
2. Wall of Moms – A group was organized by middle aged moms in the Portland area called “Wall of Moms” and their stated purpose is “We are about protecting peaceful citizens’ right to protest.” Yup, they put themselves between peaceful protestors and DHS troops. Who in their right mind would think that is a bad thing!!! They want to prevent violent clashes between protestors and various versions of law enforcement. A great, compassionate, thoughtful, wonderful concept…to maintain peace and a non-violent environment. They were doing so on a recent night outside one of Portland’s federal buildings. The protesters were in-fact peaceful at this point and then DHS troops came pouring out of the building and attacked the mothers who had linked arms with each other on the public side of the barrier fence erected by federal troops. The mothers were pushed, beaten, and prepper sprayed. I watched video after video after video of this incident. Once again…in what universe is this acceptable behavior on the part of law enforcement!!
3. Retired 3-Star General – so yesterday I was looking into the violence in Portland and the extreme violence on the part of DHS troops against civilians. I found this video with an interview of a retired 3-star Army general. He made a great case…against the DHS troops. First he explained the purpose of the multi-can camouflage clothing worn by the Army in combat…for their military troops to blend in with their surroundings to make it harder for the enemy to see them. Bottom line…to reduce casualties. And to make each other readily identifiable to each other to prevent friendly fire casualties. Then he explained that multi-cam uniforms worn by DHS troops were being used in an urban environment therefore was inappropriate and completely worthless as camouflage. Then he stated unequivocally, the sole purpose of the DHS troops wearing multi-cam camouflage uniforms was to appear as military troops and to intimidate civilians. Then he railed against DHS, a federal law enforcement agency, for commandeering an official US military uniform to be worn against US civilians while committing atrocities against those civilians that rose to the level of war crimes. His case was rock solid, accurate, and passionate. Then it dawned on me…these DHS troops were in-fact fully militarized law enforcement acting exactly as military troops, looking like military troops, armed with military tactical gear, carrying military weapons. All of these DHS troops…are now full on military. Why does this bother me? You already know that answer, but I will address it in my “summary”. Just think for a minute…if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, walks like a duck…it’s probably a duck.

* “an agenda driven media” – Notice I didn’t say an agenda driven leftist media. Although I would have been entirely correct with that statement…but that is only the half of it. By in large we have two sets of media in this country…1) leftist, 2) conservative. Both are agenda driven, both are dangerous, both refuse to report objectively, both are spewing propaganda for their respective party. I even listened to this so-called “doctor”, a PhD guy that was so in love with Trump and all things right-wing and conservative that he was impossible to listen to because it was so obvious he was not just manipulating facts and news…he was outright lying. Disgusting! But, the key is…both are dangerous, very dangerous! Why? Because they feed their respective parties with Confirmation Bias that continues to escalate the division and now they are escalating the violence. Neither side of the media presents an objective view of events…only their version of truth designed solely to cause more and more violence.

* “a better organized violent right-wing opposition” – I spent hours the last 4 days watching video of confrontation between BLM (and similar organizations) and right-wing groups. In most, not all, of the situations the BLM/similar groups were peacefully protesting…although vocal, taunting and civil disruption. And for the most part, the right-wingers started violent encounters and escalated the situations intentionally. And it will get worse. Right-wingers, law & order extremists, and others of similar ilk will continue to raise their profile, their escalations efforts, their violence, and their numbers. The growth curve of this behavior is now exponential in nature.

Time to Ask Questions –

So now…what does all of that mean? Well, first you must remember that this is only my opinion…but those opinions of mine are based on clear and factual information than is proven beyond a reasonable doubt. So I am comfortable in my opinions.

OK…so what does all of this mean? We are in a world of hurt as a nation…and it will get worse, much worse. I believe we are now more likely to have a violent civil war than not. And I don’t mean a Civil War like the 1860’s…I mean a civil war as in tribe against tribe. We have devolved as a country into tribalism and war among the tribes is virtually inevitable…and has horrific implications. But hang on a second…

Did you notice that I used the term “DHS troops”? Did you wonder why, or do you already know. In my opinion federal law enforcement agencies are fully militarized and performing as any military troops would do in third world countries run by petty dictators. And just in case you want to think about something else for a minute…read the Constitution. Is there any mention of authorization for any national level police force or law enforcement agency? No, there is not.

And something else to think about…Let’s just say for a minute that Trump is justified in sending in DHS troops to cities and states where they have not been requested and are not welcomed…by the respective state and city leadership. OK…got that? So now we are down the road somewhere with a different President…and he/she doesn’t like what a state governor or a city mayor is doing, or how they are handling a particular problem. What is to stop that President from sending in DHS troops? Get my point…once the precedence is set, where does it stop…where does it end? A slippery slope kind of thing.

But some might say that the DHS troops are there to protect federal property. OK, so why are they leaving federal property and committing all manner of violence against veterans, moms, journalists, and otherwise peaceful civilians? And please don’t let anyone try to say they are not doing those things…there are hundreds of videos showing their actions that prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that these atrocities are occurring.

This is the problem when law & order extremists get power. This is what governments, the Ruling Class, the Elites, do to acquire and maintain power…power against their own citizens. They use extreme violence, intimidation, and other forms of evil to suppress the population and the citizens’ God-given rights.

Now, don’t get me wrong…the violent protestors, the anarchists, those that are destroying property, the animals that are attacking legitimate police officers should be dealt with through the legal system. If the anarchist animals attack, or attempt to destroy private property, then the owners of that property or those being attacked have every legal and God-given right to protect themselves and their property…including the use of lethal force.

But, how do the DHS troops justify the violent attack on the women in the Wall of Moms? How do the DHS troops justify the horrific and unprovoked attack on the Navy veteran Christopher David?

Here is the point in that matter…they can’t justify it. And worse, they don’t have to because no one in the federal government holds them accountable. Why? Because they are the federal government’s shock troops, their Brown Shirts, doing the bidding of those in power who wish to teach US citizens a lesson. And that lesson is…

DO NOT OPPOSE THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT!

Now, let me come back to the coming “Bubba Effect”…I’ve explained it before. But, in brief…it is the point when a right-wing or white supremacist, or redneck, or biker, or some law & order extremist gets fed up with BLM, AntiFa, or some other leftist group or person and that Bubba commits an extreme act of violence against the opposition…probably murder. Once that happens the Ruling Class, the Elites have won! Why? Because they will use that incident to prove they have been right all along. They will also use it as additional justification for more government goons to get into the fight and more suppression of rights and freedoms. But it doesn’t end there…that is just the beginning.

To retaliate AntiFa would become more aggressive and violent. Or alternatively, maybe in addition to, the NFAC <click here to read about them> will lash out. And with over 1,000 heavily armed members (some estimates are in the multiple 1,000’s) they could create a horrible and causality ridden armed clash. The New Black Panthers would not be left out, so they would strike as well. And then the black gangs would get into it. And so on.

And what do you think all the while nationalists would be doing? Or the white supremacists? The III Percenters? How about the hundreds of militias around the country?

So you think that gets bad…what is happening with the DHS troops…even the military…at that point?

I see a picture where everyone but the Ruling Class, the Elite, loses. And I mean lose big time! What Executive Orders do you think would be issued? What curfews implemented, movement restrictions put into effect, gun rights destroyed, etc.? Where do you think it would stop? Do you think it would stop? Now, hold that thought.

I had one of my website visitors send me an email asking me to review a video and give him my opinion on this guy who is in the process of establishing a nationwide militia, a “movement”, a “nationwide network”. What I found was very, very disturbing.

I won’t use his name or the group’s name or provide the video link because I don’t want to give this guy or his militia any exposure. Why? Because I think he is very dangerous person trying to do a very, very dangerous thing…something that will get people put into prison or get folks dead. Let me explain…

This guy starts out his video talking about currently being a business owner who supplies equipment and training to preppers. He then states he is a former Special Operations soldier. And then he goes into the fact that he left the military to do private contracting for the CIA and brags about the money he made. Then he makes statements such as “I am going to rally the troops. I am going to get as many people as possible as part of this so we can come together when shit hits the fan, because it will.” He states he will provide information and actionable intelligence. Then he solicits money and your email address.

So here were some of my observations:

• He is former SpecOps. He comes from a perspective of extreme violence. He is a gunfighter, a shooter, a highly trained killer. He is trained to destroy and kill…and be very good at both.
• He is former CIA. The CIA is a master of deception and one of the greatest evils the world has ever seen. The CIA’s job is to destroy, kill, and overthrow governments. They kidnap, torture, and perform all manner of evil.
• I wouldn’t have a single thing to do with this guy or his organization. Why? His training, his self-admitted work he has done in the past, his association with the CIA, his making it clear “he” is the center point of everything.
• He makes it clear he is creating an organization…whatever name you want to call it…that will be controlled by him and do his bidding. He says over and over again…”I”, “my”, “me”…and that he is the “only” one that can do this.
• I don’t know his intentions, it is not possible for me to know them. I can tell you this…in my opinion…he is an ego maniac…he is looking for a mass following…he is looking at using violence…he talks of his “team”…etc.  His message has all the earmarks of a man trying to create a power base, a power structure, and with him in control of it. This has all the makings of a “brown shirt” operation…especially considering the CIA link.
• I did not get a good underlying feeling about him. I could sense he was telling only a small part of what his plan is. He spoke only of those things that would rally people to him, he played to people’s emotions. I think of the old wise saying, “If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.” I think it applies in this situation…a whole lot.
• What I didn’t hear from him:

• • Holding bad cops accountable.
  • Resisting tyranny.
  • Constitutional rights, liberties, and freedoms.
  • Principles of our Founding Fathers, the Declaration of Independence, etc.
  • Restoring any of the above, fighting against any/all forces that work against the above.

This is exactly why I am encouraging you, begging you, not to join any militia, not to support one, and not to form one. This current climate is perfect for all manner of people with evil intentions to take advantage of it. It is also a perfect opportunity for any number of mentally unstable people to take advantage of people’s emotions and fears…and form groups that will later be used against God and against the Constitution.

Summary –

I see the situation as it is now as being the perfect convergence that creates an environment that is picture-perfect for the Ruling Class, the Elites, to take a quantum leap towards their end goal.

We have anarchists trying to topple society, we have racists trying to further their causes, we have a plethora of well-intentioned people being sucked into causes without knowing enough about them, we have militias of every stripe ready to strike, we have violence in major cities and even medium sized towns, we have good peace officers being lumped in with thugs with badges, we have DHS militarized troops committing all manner of atrocities against US citizens.

Bottom line…we are a nation of tribes…tribes that have been pitted against each other and ready to kill each other. The rule of law has broken down, we have lawless law enforcement running amok in some cases and failing to do their jobs in others.

We, as a nation, are ripe for a civil war…and who do you know that is actively trying to avoid it? I don’t see any politician trying to stop it. In some cases they are actively escalating it. I see plenty of people bragging about being ready to fight other tribes…often hiding those motives within “self-defense” or “law & order” rhetoric. I see plenty of people trying to sound educated and justify their own tribe’s position while denigrating other tribes’ stated grievances. I see a lot of folks criticizing people for protesting…peaceful protesting…when that is a Constitutionally guaranteed right. I see plenty of people complaining about what other people do…while expressing all manner of prejudice and bigotry themselves. And most unfortunately, I see people unconditionally backing their party or their idolized politician(s)…and failing to see reality.

I see our country unraveling. I see our country devolving into warring rivals tribes. I see hate, bigotry, prejudice, and ignorance prevailing over common sense. I see the Constitution being ignored in favor of law & order. I see anarchists who can’t even spell Constitution. I see our country in dire straits…very, very dire straits.

The Answer(s) –

What is the answer? To me it is relatively simple:

1. Understand who the real enemy is and what their stated goal is…the Ruling Class, the Elites, and to establish an authoritarian/totalitarian government.
2. Stop thinking in terms of politics, politicians, and parties. Think in terms of principles. Specifically gospel centered principles and Constitutional based principles.
3. Drop all bias, bigotry, and prejudice. Listen to every reasonable person and try to understand their perspective and their point of view.
4. Stop reading and watching only those news items and using only those news sources that confirm your positions/views…Confirmation Bias.
5. See reality…not what you want reality to be…or what you think reality is to justify your own position or your own tribe…but what reality really is.
6. Think in terms of “consensus” not in terms of “compromise” or “compliance”.

If we can’t do these things then I feel that the chances of getting through this as the United States of America is virtually impossible. And I mean that in the absolute worst of terms.

Ask yourself these questions:

• Do you want the country run by leftist and anarchists?
• Do you want a police state with the federal storm troopers in charge?
• Do you want the Ruling Class, the Elites, to win?
• Do you want our country’s history, warts and all, destroyed and wiped out?
• Do you want militias fighting each other or militias patrolling your town’s streets?
• Do you want the Rule of Law to reign supreme…or do you want to be ruled over?
• Do you want tribes or communities?

Think over these questions very carefully. Think about your answers even more carefully. Then listen to your heart and your head on what to do about it. I trust you to find the right answers for you and your family.

There is an old saying…”You are either part of the solution or part of the problem.” It has never been more applicable than today.

Choose you this day.

The politicians are at it again, or I guess I should say “at it some more”, since the political season never ends. More  lies, more promises (that’s redundant), and more finger pointing. Time magazine (which I do not read) called it the “Game of Thrones”. On their cover (August 2015) they have a picture of Bush the Younger juxtaposed with William the Slippery. What a pair of jokers… and the joke has been on “We the People”. The connected class plays the game of thrones and we get to be the serfs.

What does this have to do with prepping? Read on…

Time got one thing right, life is a game, isn’t it? We all want to win, right? To win, or even to play well, we need to know the rules. Do the rules you learned growing up still apply? I’d say not much.

I grew up in the 50’s and 60’s, which was a strange dichotomy. The crazy “free love”, sex, drugs, and Rock n Roll 60’s, colliding with the Ozzie and Harriet 50’s. Worse yet, my parents were shaped by the late 20’s, 30’s, and 40’s. Both parents lived through the Depression, then WW2, and those two events shaped their lives. I was brought up to vote, pay your taxes, work hard, and learn all I could. College was encouraged, but my Dad made it clear he learned more from “the school of hard knocks” than any classroom. I was told things like:

• “Never be afraid of a little honest dirt and sweat.”
• “If you say ‘I can’t’, you will always be right”

If you are reading this blog you might have heard the same sort of stuff from your parents and teachers. I heard more of the same from my Marine DI’s:

• “Second place is last place.”
• “Pain is weakness leaving the body.”
• “To err is human, to forgive divine, neither is USMC policy”

Are those still the rules? Is that what is taught in school today? Is that what most parents teach their kids?

Yes, I’m a dinosaur, and if I had a PC bone in my body, I’d break it myself. It seems to me the rules have changed, and not for the better. Today, everyone gets a trophy, teachers can’t grade in red ink, and colleges have free speech zones…except only politically correct speech is authorized. What crap!

Here is where this has lead us…according to data released by the census bureau in the fourth quarter of 2011:

• 50% percent of Americans received benefits from one or more government programs. That’s 151 million out of 306 million population (2011). Yes, that includes 49,901,000 on Social Security, which they (we) theoretically paid for. Did we really pay for it? Yeah sure, but the money we paid has been squandered by the politicians.
• Most of these same people are among the 46,440,000 on Medicare. Will I soon find myself forced onto Medicare? Yes. Do I want some money from the Social Security Ponzi fund I’ve paid into for all these years? YOU BET I DO. Will I get it? Maybe.
• Consider also the 49,073,000 on food stamps.
• The 23,228,000 in the Women, Infants and Children program.
• The 20,223,000 getting Supplemental Security Income.
• There were also 13,433,000 who lived in public or subsidized rental housing.
• Then the 5,098,000 who got unemployment (all 99+ weeks of it).
• The figures also include 364,000 who got railroad retirement benefits, which I assume they actually did work for.
• There were also 3,178,000 who got veterans’ benefits, and as a veteran, I know we really worked, sweated, and sometimes bled for those benefits.

In total, the Census Bureau estimated 151,014,000 Americans (out of a population then estimated to be 306,804,000) received benefits from one or more government programs during the last three months of 2011.

This is only the money spent inside the US, and given to individuals. There are hundreds of billions more dollars spent in corporate welfare and foreign aid. Pay for play, and it will not go away.

Is this sustainable? Hell no, and some of us know it.

The new rules? Money for nothing and your checks for free. (Apologies to Mark Knopfler and Dire Straits)

Free money for the politicians, and free money for the sheeple. Our money.

Do I blame those who receive these benefits? No, because it’s human nature to do what is perceived as in their own best interest. Free stuff is hard to argue with.

Those are the new free money rules, most of which suck, but here is the solution:

Vote for the guy (or gal) with the “R” after their name they will fix everything, right? After all, they said so! Over and over again they’ve said so. “We will restore fiscal responsibility, balance the budget, close the borders, support the troops, follow the Constitution, blah, blah, blah”… Personally, I don’t believe a word of it. It’s all BS. You don’t believe the “R’s” either? Can’t trust them?

How about the other solution?

Vote for the other folks with the “D” after their name and they will ride to the rescue. After all, they said so too! Over and over again they’ve said so. Every year the “D’s” say to their constituents, “Your life sucks, the man is keeping you down, you have no chance, but if you vote for us it will all be better… next year.” How can you hear that from “the man” for 20, 30, 50 or more years, and not catch on to the scam? Free stuff.

Did you buy the line about voting for Hope and Change? That plan has sure worked well, they gave you hope and now what you have left is the small change. What actually changed? The name on the door.

Big government is the rule, so shut up and get back to work, someone has to pay those taxes. If you don’t believe  either the “D’s” or the “R’s” what can you do? Keep voting and expecting something different? Why would people do that? Because for most people, the scam still works, they continue to reflexively vote for the same bunch, D or R, year after year. Different promises, different faces, and all lies. Have any of those promises, other than more free stuff, come to pass? Will any of those promises ever be fulfilled? Is there anyone who will really work to decrease the spending, intrusion, and regulation? Will anyone actually “do the right thing” while increasing our personal Liberty? Not likely. Not without being forced to do so.

It is obvious that the “D’s” or “R’s” are the only parties who have a chance of getting elected, even though there isn’t a dimes worth the difference between them. The new boss is the same as the old boss, AND if you have the correct status, it’s oh so sweet. THOSE are the rules which have NOT changed. These are the same rules we’ve been playing by for at least 70 (or maybe 170) years. “Connected = easy street.”

The Congress as a whole has an approval rating in the neighborhood of 10%, and yet 95% of them get re-elected every time. How does that happen? It happens not only because a lot of people buy into the scam, it happens because so many are bought and paid for by the scam. It’s hard to argue with free stuff.

Here is my solution to the problem, and it’s where the “prepper” part comes in…

If asked, one of the attributes most prepper’s claim is a clearer vision of reality. The ability to see and deal with reality is supposed to make us different than the average sheeple. Part of being prepared is directly related to recognizing that bad things can happen. We have a plan, we have food, a water source, weapons, etc. It’s usually quite a long list. You plan the work, work the plan, to save your ass.

The reality many of us have not recognized is that we are really, really helpless. When it comes to constructive change and influencing the government, there is really almost nothing we can do. Even at the local level it is almost impossible. How many emails have you written? How many politicians have you contacted? Letters to the editor? PTA meetings? Town halls? Donations. Vote, vote, vote… and what has it achieved? Nothing, in fact things are getting worse. So what can we do?

It’s simple, we can stop feeding the beast.

Oh, you can still go to meetings, write the letters, make the calls, and continue to vote, but try doing a few new things as well:

• Minimize your taxable income.
• No more political donations.
• Vote, but NEVER vote for the incumbent.
• While I would never suggest doing something illegal, I do suggest doing whatever you can to legally cut down on the support you give to government.
• Let your city, county, state, and the federal government do with less. Can you barter? Can you take Uber instead of a taxed and regulated cab?
• Can you drive across a border for a lower sales tax? Can you move to another county or state and lower your property taxes?
• Be creative and find new ways to suck them dry.
• Can you retire early?
• Are YOU eligible for some sort of benefits? If so take them! Why not keep as much of your own money as you can, and get some of the free stuff that is being offered?

There are hundreds of ways to stop feeding the beast, and carve a little more off for yourself. Remember, there is no such thing as a “loophole” in the law, the law was written that way for someone’s benefit, and it might as well be you. Living a minimalist lifestyle does not have to mean living in a tent (unless you want to). What I think it should mean is minimizing your contribution. Stop throwing chum in the water! Let the feeding frenzy die from starvation. The cockroaches in the bureaucratic woodwork depend on US. We can’t fumigate them, we can’t step on them, and they won’t just go away, so my alternative is to starve them.

By some estimates the government at all levels wastes as much as 30% of what it takes in. THAT IS OUR MONEY THEY ARE WASTING! Paying your “fair share” means paying not one dime more than you absolutely must. Keep your money in your family, and use it wisely. I believe the most likely SHTF scenario is for an economic Armageddon. If I’m right, the sooner the economy resets, the less pain we will all feel.

Could this “depression” lead to war, famine, plague and a more complicated SHTF scenario? You damn well know it. Play their game to your benefit. Play the game of selfish preservation NOW, before the SHTF. You know you can’t feed all the starving masses in an SHTF situation, so why endanger your survival by doing it now?

STARVE THE BEAST!

By starving the beast and carving off more for you and yours, you can better prepare and maybe make things come to a head sooner.

Sooner begun, sooner done.

I was listening to Glenn Beck on the way into work the other morning. He was talking about something, not sure what the overall subject was, but he spent a few minutes talking about “destination” in regards to politics and the country. He made some really great points, but I am not here to talk about politics.

I started thinking about destination as it relates to prepping. Then I related “life” to prepping and “destination.” Yeah, you can tell I was on a real philosophical kick that morning. Probably due to too much Pepsi. But, it did really get me thinking about a few things. And I want to share a little of that today.  

Is there a “destination” to prepping?

No. Prepping is a process whereby you are getting ready for some future emergency, disaster, or grid-down event. And, by being prepared you are able to help those in need…that is called service. My physical therapist who helped with the healing of my shoulder told me once, “Service is the highest form of worship.” My religion also preaches that, “When ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God.”

Preppers exist to give service.

We never know for sure that our prepping will ever be used in serving those needs. However, that is our goal…or, should be.

That being said, there is no destination because we don’t know if, or how many times, our prepping will be called upon to help or serve others. Hence, no destination. If prepping were a destination there would be a point where we could say something along the lines of, “I’m done! I’ve acquired every single thing I need to be prepared.” Or, “I am done, my preps are all gone, I can do no more!” And we know that neither point will ever be reached. Hence, no destination.

But, it is not important that there is no destination. Similar to life, prepping is a journey. A special journey to be sure, but a journey all the same. Some of us have been prepping for decades, others for only weeks. The length of time a person, or family, has been preparing is also not important. It is the mere fact that they are preparing. Why? Because we don’t know exactly what will be needed. Or when it will be needed, when it comes right down to the emergency, disaster, or grid-down we’ve prepared for.

Sure, I have given an outline, tips, advice, reviews, lists, etc. for most aspects of preparing but just the fact you are doing something, anything, is the main thing here. You have acquired the mindset of being prepared…and that is priceless.

Why do we prepare?

I could give long rambling answers to that question all day, plenty enough to bore you to tears. But, we prepare because something inside of us tells us to. That voice whispers to us it is important that we do these things. Yes, that little voice in our head; some would say that “still small voice” that whispers through our soul.

Now, there are those individuals, that after listening to them for a while, I think they prepare to tell people “I told you so!” once calamity strikes. And I must admit, there have been occasions when that thought has crossed my mind. But, I try to avoid ego driven thoughts such as those.

For those of us that are LDS we have a further reason to be preppers…we are told it is the right thing to do. In “The Family – a Proclamation to the World” we are told that fathers are “responsible to provide the necessities of life and protection for their families.” Which falls right in line with the goals and purposes of prepping.

For those of us that believe in the Bible… 1 Timothy 5:8 –

“But if any provide not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.”

So there are whole lot of reasons to be a prepper…and they all make sense, common sense.

Is prepping like gardening?

Last year I wrote about taking the time to gather onion seeds from my heirloom onions that I had grown that season. Yes, it was a little tedious and time consuming. I could have easily spent about $4 or less and bought my seeds for this year. But, what would it have gained me?

Last winter I planted a bunch of those seeds not really knowing if they would grow or not. I put them in freshly tilled, fertilized, and mulched ground. I watered them regularly and kept invasive weeds from choking out the tiny little plants. This spring I was rewarded with a whole lot of tiny onion plants. In years past I had always purchased my onion “sets” from the store for about $4. Those store bought onion sets were planted, opinions harvested and enjoyed. But, the store was in the supply chain. However, this year…the process was mine from start to finish. My onion sets are now growing into real onions!

My harvesting of the seed, starting the little onion set plants, replanting them into an opinion patch, and soon harvesting the onions to enjoy in our meals is almost complete. Well, not really…

This summer I will not harvest all my onions, I will leave three of them in the ground to develop seed heads. In the late summer I will once again harvest the seed heads, pick out the tiny seeds, and then secure them for planting later to grow next year’s onions. In reality gardening is never complete…it is a journey.

So now what?

You simply keep on doing what you are doing. And you do it knowing that you are doing the right thing for the right reasons. For one day, maybe soon, you will use your preps in service to others. Maybe service to your family, maybe to your neighbors, or your congregation, maybe your community…but you will serve. That is what you were placed here for…that is who you are. That is your journey…not your destination. Enjoy it!

I am thankful I have good people like you to share this journey with.

To some folks the title might more appropriately read…“Thank you for being so quiet!”

Yeah, a little humor to start the morning out. But…I think there are a few people out there that would see that statement more as reality than humor. Especially on another so-called prepper website where folks know me. Oh well, enough of that…let’s get on with my message this morning!

Bottom line…I’ve been working like crazy on two things…1) trying to finish a lot of projects on the new place, 2) personal reasons.

As for #2, don’t ask. Let’s just say I’ve been anxiously engaged in trying to accomplish one of the goals of my church. OK, you can ask, but please do so privately.

Now, #1…I have a clear picture of what is coming. And, that being the case…I am doing the best I can to prepare my property to be ready for it. I had a great conversation a couple of weeks ago with a very spiritual man, a man called of God to be a leader in this area. He shared with me some very interesting bits of information specific to this area. Later, on the evening of July 4th several folks, people who are not members of our church, confirmed exactly the things spoken of by our church leader. It was an interesting and informative evening.

Yes, that means we had a Independence Day celebration in our little community. A community of about a dozen families. We are tucked in a small out of the way valley. We are growing closer together as a community, a consensus of purpose, a dedication to thrive, not just survive in the coming times. It was a great evening, incredible food, a marvelous spirit, and some interesting stories.

Sorry, back to my explanation…

So I’ve been getting up between 4:30 and 5:00am each day. I work outside until about noon, then take a decent lunch break and rest. Then work on the inside of the house or the shop for awhile. By the end of each afternoon I am beat! But the wood pile is larger, the road better, the parts, tools, and such are more organized, the solar system is better and getting revamped, and generally the place is coming along nicely. Unfortunately, it is at the expense of an almost elimination of me writing.

I do my best writing in the mornings when my mental capacity is at its peak. However, this time of year, mornings are also the only decent time to work outside without melting into a pile of biological goo. So by mid-afternoon when I do have some spare time…well, I just can’t think clearly enough to put into words what I see happening, my latest evaluation of equipment/gear, etc. So, I am quiet.

All that being said, I have a renewed interest is getting more information out there for folks to read and hopefully benefit from. I am working on another SitRep, I have a number of reviews I am working on, and some other things as well. I hope to start getting them out fairly soon…some as early as this week. But, I thought I owed you an explanation of why I have been so quiet.

But please don’t interpret my quietness with a message that “all is well” or that nothing of worth is happening. In our world today we are seeing history in the making…most of it not good, some very bad. But more on that later…watch for the coming SitRep.

Independence Day (a.k.a. 4th of July) commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. July 4th is the day for celebrating declaring independence from Great Britain. However, on July 2, 1776 the American Revolution leadership declared the legal separation of the Thirteen Colonies from Great Britain after the American Congress had voted to do so. And the 4th is when they  actually signed the document. .

But remember, open warfare had broken out a year earlier between the tyrannical British forces and American freedom fighters.

So if this holiday, the 4th of July – Independence Day, is all about declaring independence and the signing of the Declaration of Independence. What is the Declaration of Independence all about?

Well, just take the first 18 words of the actual document –

“When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands…”

The Declaration of Independence was all about dissolving the tyrannical government that had been imposed upon them by the British ruling class. In other words, the Americans were fed-up with the tyranny they lived under and were finally doing something really serious about it. The Declaration of Independence was an explanation of what they were doing and why.

But you also have to understand by what “authority” they felt they had to take such drastic actions –

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, –That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government…”

They stated unequivocally what the problem was with the British government –

“…the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States…”

If you are reading this post you are more than likely not a first visitor to this website. And that being the case, you know I am not some blogger that wants to be all warm and fuzzy. I don’t believe in sugar-coating currents events and I damn darn sure don’t want to give false hope and impressions of what is going on or where we as a country are headed. I always want to give you the straight talk and the straight, honest answers. But remember, these are only my opinions. Seek out, research, and come to your own conclusions of what is happening in our country today (well, the last 120 years actually) and why. In this day an age of misinformation and deepfake I want you to trust no one but yourself, and hopefully your spouse. I am confident you can figure out this situation, I just want to share some thoughts that I think are important to where we are as a country right now.

The Declaration of Independence listed approximately 26 grievances against the government of Britain.  Among those I found these specific items to be especially interesting:

1. He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone, for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.
2. He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people, and eat out their substance.
3. He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures.
4. He has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil power.
5. He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation:
6. For Quartering large bodies of armed troops among us:
7. For protecting them, by a mock Trial, from punishment for any Murders which they should commit on the Inhabitants of these States:
8. For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent:
9. For depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of Trial by Jury:
10. For transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for pretended offenses.

Let me make a note of those just for conversation’s sake:

1. He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone, for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries. Judges now “make” law, are appointed by the President, serve for life, paid by the government (who sets their pay scale), and the Supreme Court is untouchable even when ruling against the Constitution. Even the most minor federal judge in the middle of nowhere can stop the President (the entire Executive Branch) from performing their Constitutional duties. Does that sound even remotely right?
2. He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance. The layers of government bureaucracy, local level to the federal level now number in the 10’s of millions of employees. All serving in a system wherein they can arbitrarily create policy and regulation that carry the force of law. And those laws can ruin people’s lives, destroy businesses, and devastate entire communities.
   
3. He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures. Not only do we have a huge standing Army, we have a huge standing Air Force, Navy, Marines and National Guard. We now have a situation that dwarfs what the Declaration of Independence complained about. And it costs us 100’s of billions of dollars every year. Money that we have to borrow…driving the country into bankruptcy.
   
4. He has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil power. Our military now has unlimited powers, via the NDAA, even within the borders of the US. Posse Comitatis is no longer recognized by the federal government or the military. The military is free to arrest, detain, ship to another country, or kill any US citizen within the borders of the USA by the simple order of the President, and in some cases, by local military commanders. And God-forbid you ever fall under the designation of “potential domestic terrorist”…you have no rights, no protection, no Constitution…you are at the mercy of government officials.
   
5. He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation: Our government has now subjugated US law to UN law, agreements, and in some cases even Sharia Law. That is in direct opposition to US Constitutional law. In some legal jurisdictions now, Sharia Law (Islamic religious law) is now recognized as superior to US law. 
   
6. For Quartering large bodies of armed troops among us: One only needs to look at the nearly 1.5million law enforcers stationed throughout every community, at every possible level of government, to understand this problem. There is little resemblance of yesterday’s peace officers to today’s fully militarized law enforcement officers who operate at the whim and will of federal guidance and political direction.
   
7. For protecting them, by a mock Trial, from punishment for any Murders which they should commit on the Inhabitants of these States: The political class, ruling class, is virtually immune to arrest and prosecution for the crimes they commit. We see one politician after another commit serious crimes with absolute impunity. Such is the benefit of the political ruling class. We have a two-tier judicial system…the ruling class…and everyone else.
   
8. For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent: This goes without saying. But it is even worse than you might think at first pass. Not only does the government, at all levels, impose taxes on its citizens at will and without authority or permission…it also eliminates the payment of income taxes by those they wish to exempt. It has gotten so bad that over half of the country’s citizens pay no income taxes while the minority of the population support the entire country’s finances…including the immense welfare system that the majority non-taxpayers benefit from.
   
9. For depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of Trial by Jury:  The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), the previous Patriot Act, and the present Freedom Act…as well as a host of non-laws (Presidential Directives) have eliminated the effect of the Sixth Amendment found in the Constitution’s Bill of Rights. The government can, at its own discretion, deprive citizens of rights, property, money, and freedoms through the imposition of “policy” enforced by police. And they do so to the tune of 10’s of billions of dollars each year with impunity. There is little to no defense against such arbitrary civil forfeiture acts of government in today’s system. The Civil Asset Forfeiture laws allow property owned by citizens to be seized without due process, without even any criminal charges being filed. Law enforcement simply takes the property from citizens. This is done to the tune of tens of millions of dollars each year.
   
10. For transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for pretended offenses. The policy currently in use and in force by the US government is called “rendition.”  The current policy of rendition is the government sponsored kidnapping and extrajudicial transfer of a person from one country to another to avoid the US legal system. And in so doing allows the torture and indefinite detention or execution of prisoners that the US federal government wishes to impose itself upon.

So, I guess some things haven’t changed.

Well, that isn’t exactly true:

• We are taxed by government far more heavily now than prior to the American Revolution.
• We are regulated by government far more so now than prior to the American Revolution.
• The ruling government is far more controlling over the population than prior to the American Revolution.
• As percentage of population, we have far more government officials, bureaucrats, and regulators than prior to the American Revolution.
• As a percentage of population, we have far more law enforcement officers than prior to the American Revolution.
• We have far more laws, regulations, rules, policies, and codes than prior to the American Revolution.
• As a percentage of population, we have far more politicians than prior to the American Revolution.
• As a percentage of population, we have far more people in jails and prisons than prior to the American Revolution.

Pretty much according to every negative aspect of life prior to the American Revolution, we have it tenfold worse here in our lives…in our good ol’ USA. Right here, right now…in our day and age!

So what does that mean? To answer that question let’s look at who signed the Declaration of Independence:

We call them, or at least use to call them, freedom fighters, patriots, honorable men, and Founding Fathers. We revere them, we honor them, we appreciate their great sacrifices that they made in founding our country and providing a rich heritage of freedom, rights and liberty.

But what if all of that Declaration of Independence stuff was all occurring in today’s world?

What if a group of well-known and honorable men got together, outlined a long list of unjust tyrannical actions of today’s federal government against US citizens?

And then these pillars of society declared that whenever any form of government becomes destructive of freedom, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish that government, and to institute new government. What would happen to these individuals?

Well, let’s look at what DHS and the FBI has to say about it.

You are considered a potential domestic terrorist if you are any of the following:

•    Americans who believe their “way of life” is under attack;
•    Americans who are “fiercely nationalistic (as opposed to universal and international in orientation)”;
•    People who consider themselves “anti-global” (presumably those who are wary of the loss of American sovereignty);
•    Americans who are “suspicious of centralized federal authority”;
•    Americans who are “reverent of individual liberty”;
•    People who “believe in conspiracy theories that involve grave threat to national sovereignty and/or personal liberty;”
•    Anti-abortion advocates (a.k.a. Pro-Life).
•    Bulk purchasers of food.
•    People who pay cash.
•    People who want internet privacy.
•    People who display “liberty” or “freedom” oriented bumper stickers.
•    People who display the American flag.

So there is little doubt if the Declaration of Independence was written and signed today, all of those original Founding Fathers, all those patriots, would be swept up in massive FBI raids, using no-knock warrants with fully-militarized SWAT forces.

What does that tell you about the condition of our country today?

What does that say of our freedoms, rights and liberties?

What does it say of our massive system of government, especially at the federal level?

What does it all have to do with an “emergency preparedness” website?

Let me make it real clear for you…A major threat to America today is the police state. No, not the threat of a police state…the growing police state that we live under right now. And that very same police state that grows ever stronger each and every day.

At some point an event will occur, and the country will be thrown into confusion and chaos the likes of which you have never ever seen before in history. And when that happens the grid will come smashing down and it will come down completely. When that happens I want you and your family to be prepared. Better yet I want you to have a group of like-minded preparedness folks organized and supportive of each other. And best of all…if you could have a whole community ready for emergencies and disasters…that would be my dream!

Folks it is coming. I assure you of that. Our country, our government can’t survive much longer…history has proven that over and over again. Please prepare yourself and your family for the emergencies and disasters that are coming.

In the mean time, because your are prepared, you will be ready for wildfires, recessions, hurricanes, earthquakes, unemployment, retirement, epidemics/pandemics, and most other natural and man-made disasters as well. And because you are prepared you shall not fear.

Just please understand what we are dealing with right now…and what is coming in the near future. Please prepare yourself and your family. And while you’re at it…enjoy your 4th of July, Independence Day, by remembering what this day represents, who was there originally, why they were there, and what principles they believed in.

Please prepare!

Be a modern day patriot…be a Founding Father!
