Hillsdale College (Imprimis) – My Opinion

In response to “Excellent Article from Hillsdale College (Imprimis)” from two days ago…

Remember…the US Constitution is an outline of what the US Federal Government was supposed to be…any nothing more! In legal terms it is referred to as a ‘negative rights’ document. Meaning, if it isn’t authorized in the Constitution the US government is not authorized to do it. The Founding Fathers were so worried about the federal government becoming oppressive and tyrannical they included the prohibition of an all powerful central federal government in the 10th Amendment…commonly referred to as being the last amendment in the Bill of Rights.

The 10th Amendment reads,

“The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”

Show me in the Constitution where any federal law enforcement agency is mentioned as authorized!

And why do you think that is? The Founding Fathers suffered and struggled under an authoritarian, oppressive and tyrannical government (British Empire) beyond what we can imagine. They knew the inherent dangers and evils that come from such immense centralized power…and they specifically didn’t authorize any federal law enforcement agencies in the Constitution for that very reason.

Put this into perspective…if you combine all the US federal law enforcement agencies together…you have the 7th largest army in the world. And so tell me this…Why does the United States government need or want one of the largest armies in the world to control its own citizens? In plain and realistic terms…US federal law enforcement agencies are an occupying army within the borders of the United States.

Remember ‘Posse Comitatus‘? That law strictly and specifically limits the powers of the federal government in the use of federal military personnel to enforce domestic policies within the United States. Yeah but, if you create the 7th largest army in the world and then call it “law enforcement” then you have effectively by-passed the whole concept and intention of Posse Comitatus. Huuummmm…imagine that…I am sure that was some kind of simple oversight on the part of the federal government…Yes?

Let’s review a major event that Cleckner left out…the Waco Massacre. In this operation back in the 90’s the ATF attacked a religious group who were living together in a collection of buildings outside Waco, Texas. The ATF claimed that the group had illegal weapons and violated federal firearms laws…allegations never proven nor substantiated. The group, surprised by the military-style ATF operation/attack, defended itself. The ATF killed multiple group members but their attack failed and they pulled back. The FBI then took over the operation.

Weeks later after a prolonged siege by the FBI where they attempted to starve out the people, the FBI attacked the building where the remaining group members had congregated trying to stay safe from the threat of federal LEO attack. The FBI made multiple intentional misrepresentations to Congress and the public regarding the group to justify their attack. Yes, meaning lies. The FBI then attacked the main building with armored vehicles flooding it with tear gas and then setting the building ablaze. 78 men, women, children, and infants were burned alive. The FBI even went so far as to prevent firefighters from rescuing survivors and extinguishing the flames. Pure unadulterated evil!

And now we see from Cleckner’s article, and have been seeing for decades, exactly why the Founders didn’t authorize federal law enforcement agencies and their militarized troops in the Constitution. They knew precisely where this would lead…and we are there!

So how do we fix this?

The ‘fix’ is simple and plain…and in today’s environment the ‘fix’ is also impossible. The ‘fix’ is to have a US federal government that is 100% in-line legally with the US Constitution. That’s it…nothing fancy…nothing complicated…nothing special…just have our government abide by the Constitution.

So why is it impossible?

Think about it…no one associated with the federal government wants to truly abide by the Constitution. Not Congress, not any President, not bureaucrats, not federal employees, and certainly not federal law enforcement agencies with their hundreds of thousands of highly-armed military-style troops. Why is that?

There are two mental disorders involved; 1) psychopathy of malignant narcissism and, 2) bipolar disorder. Essentially, in common terms, it is an obsessive lust for power and money…both conditions represented by mental health professionals as recognized significant mental problems, malignant narcissism and bipolar disorder. And both are suffered extensively by those employed by Washington D.C.

Do this for just one minute…think how great, how free, how amazing the United States would be if the US federal government existed in 100% compliance with the US Constitution and the Founding Fathers’ vision for us. Ahhhhhhhh, what an amazing thing it would be!

We would actually have the freedoms, rights, and liberties that the Founding Fathers envisioned…after they won the American Revolution against an oppressive and tyrannicidal British government.

So what can we realistically do? Today is the time for prayer in our hearts and peace in our actions.
