Bill of Rights: Dying Fast or Already Dead?

Let me make this easy…we live in a post-constitution era. Yes, that means I am saying that we are no longer governed by the Constitution of the United States as it was designed and written by the Founding Fathers. Its principles, protections, guarantees, and political foundation framework are all lost to the last 130 years of political maneuvering and power brokers. And for quite awhile now I have been warning about the post-constitution days we live in.

The most sure way to verify this is to simply look at the part of that great document that directly affects all US citizens’ right, liberties, and freedoms, and where we stand now in relation to its original wording and intent.

Yes, there is a specific reason for this article at this time…it ties directly into tomorrow’s article. This is a prequel if you will.

Amendment I – Dying…almost dead!

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Americans are not allowed to freely exercise their religion. In 1878 the Supreme Court killed freedom of religion (Reynolds v. United States, 98 U.S. 145) when the non-constitutional “separation of church and state” became the law of the land via black robes. And again in 1954, according to IRS documents, verbal or written statements by a 501(c)(3) in favor or opposition of any candidate can result in the denial or revocation of tax-exempt status. And yes, churches are 501(c)(3) organizations. So the government essentially controls what churches can do, when, and where they can do it…because churches are not going to want to give up their tax-exempt status.

Freedom of speech and freedom of the press died in April of 2022 at the hands of the Department of Homeland Security when it established the “Disinformation Governance Board” with no legislative action and no law being passed by our elected representatives. Freedom of speech and freedom of the press was already dying long before then due to the media’s cooperation with the US government in invoking “cancel culture” tactics.

Right of people to peacefully assemble died over 60 years ago with the widespread implementation of “permits” to parade, rally, protest, demonstrate, etc., as well as governments and law enforcement agencies employment of “free speech zones.” Both of which are widely used against any group or cause that doesn’t align with government policy.

Amendment II – Barely on life support!

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Militias have been demonized and criminalized effectively eliminating them in the United States since the late 19th century.

The right to keep and bear arms has been repeated infringed since the 1930’s to the point that the right as originally intended is no longer recognizable. The latest “bi-partisan” attempts that will soon become law further infringe upon that right. Thanks needs to go to both political parties throughout the years for killing these two rights.

Amendment IV – Dead!

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

The FBI, as well as all other federal law enforcement agencies, through the use of FISA courts have killed the “warrants” & “probable cause” clause. The NSA gathers, stores, and analyzes all electronic correspondence of US citizens without warrants. And the federal government has successfully argued in court the right to have a “kill list” of US citizens wherein people can be outright assassinated by the mere stroke of a pen at the Executive Branch level of the US government. Remember, it was a FISA court that authorized the coup against President Trump…and the FBI that provided leadership and operational personnel.

Amendment V – Dead!

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

The most blatant example is the use of “civil asset forfeiture” which has killed due process by taking private property without even a person being arrested or suspected of a crime. Additionally, since 2001, thanks to the Patriot Act (among others), American citizens have been tortured in overseas black sites as well as on American soil and the information illegally gathered has been used against them. The FBI and CIA are the two primary federal law enforcement agencies in this regards. In addition to torture, both FBI and CIA personnel have outright assassinated US citizens; and the federal government reserves the right in court to do so whenever they deem it needed…and the courts have upheld that right.

Amendment VIII – Dead!

Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

Case after case after case is well documented where FBI personnel have simply murdered “suspects” even when those persons have been unarmed. And, the same agency personnel have killed family members and friends of these so-called “suspects” as they did at Ruby Ridge. A case you may very familiar with is Lavoy Finnicum. In the most glaring of infamous cases the FBI have even been known to burn to death men, women, and children as they did in Waco.

Amendment X – Dead!

The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

This goes without any need to describe. Long ago the US federal government usurped the rights and powers reserved to the states and people, assuming those rights either through extortion, bribery, or at the point of a gun. The passage of the 17th Amendment diminished the check and balance of the states to virtually nothing. Couple this along with the federal government destroying half of the 2nd Amendment by outlawing militias ensured that there is no true check and balance of the states to stop the imposition of tyranny by the US federal government.

Summary –

So there are 6 out of the 10 Bill of Rights amendments that are either outright dead or virtually dead. And those 6 are the most important to US citizens out of the 10!

What does this mean? Our original rights, liberties, and freedoms as the Founders established them are gone. And there is no hope or peaceful mechanism to revive them.

Had there been any civil way to restore them…then why hasn’t it been done? Not a single Congress, not a single President, and surely not any political party has ever restored any of those rights, freedoms, or liberties. It has only gotten worse and worse with each passing election for the last 130+ years.

Why do I point this out? Well, tomorrow is the answer to that question. Today was laying out the “slap your face” reality check for what I will share with you tomorrow. Tomorrow you get a huge stress relief, an off-loading of a heavy burden…a freeing moment in your life. It will give you an opportunity to focus on the really important things.

I was on the radio!!

So mid-morning on June 9th I get a frantic call from a really good friend of mine. She is telling me that I am on the radio! For clarification…a radio talk show host is reading an article of mine on his radio show. And a couple of minutes later I verified it…my material was on the radio!

Well, well, well…interesting world!! I wrote an article on June 7th “Answer: What should I do?” which was basically cut out of my May 2022 SitRep “SitRep – May 2022 (part #4 of 4)”. Seems as if someone really liked it a lot. They sent an email, with the article link, to Bryan Hyde; he is a radio guy and podcaster. Bryan liked my article enough that he was reading in whole on the air.

Bryan Hyde appears to be like-minded with me in many respects, enough so that I am listening to him pretty regularly now. Going forward I am going to embed some of his podcasts because I think you will find value there.

Man, his voice is smooth…prefect for the radio…and he made my stuff sound really good. Thank you Bryan!!

So here is hour #1

from his website…

Who Is This Guy?

Handsome. Erudite. Brave. Charming. A magnanimous leader of men. These are just some of the words which will never be used to describe Bryan Hyde.

He is, however, a trusted voice of truth who strives to inform and unite his audience. Bryan is a veteran broadcaster, podcaster, writer, speaker and educator with more than 35 years experience behind the mic.

His goal is to elevate the discussion from shouted partisan slogans to thoughtful examination of the key principles at stake.

What’s His Background?

! Warning ! “Be prepared to lose all your money in crypto!”

This morning a stark warning was issued by a major bank head in light of recent moves by Celsius. Celsius operates somewhat like a traditional bank, albeit one for crypto rather than fiat currency. Until this week, it was considered among the most successful parts of the decentralized finance (DeFi) movement.

Yesterday Celsius issued this, “Due to extreme market conditions, today we are announcing that Celsius is pausing all withdrawals, Swap, and transfers between accounts.”

All crypto-currency has taken a huge hit…Bitcoin alone has lost 67% in the last 8 months.

I’ve warned about crypto-currency for a long time. It is NOT a prepper item at all…and it is a horrible investment option. It is something that any sane person would stay very far away from.

Democrats/Radicals/Leftists/Authoritarians Attempt to Murder Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh

Early this morning a man was arrested with weapons and entry tools in close proximity to Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh’s home. He stated he was “incensed” at Kavanaugh’s assumed support of overturning Roe v. Wade. The man who has not yet been identified was apparently a resident of the radical left-wing state of California.

The armed man holds radical pro-abortion beliefs and was taken into custody in suburban Montgomery County, MD as he approached the immediate neighborhood of Justice Kavanaugh. He reportedly told police he wanted to kill Justice Kavanaugh and/or his family.

Justice Kavanaugh’s home has previously been the scene of illegal and borderline violent protests and demonstrations. These protests and demonstrations were called for by Democrats and other radical leftists. And no Democrat leader condemned the protests and demonstrations or violence even though both are illegal as per federal law. And the FBI has not intervened to prevent the protests and demonstrations, the associated violence, or threats of more protest violence against Justice Kavanaugh.

However, this is only 1/2 of the plot to murder Justice Kavanaugh.

In early March of this year Democrats’ Senate leader, Chuck Schumer, called for violence against Justice Kavanaugh. In front of a mob Schumer continued to increase tensions and urged those in the mob to commit violence to the point that “I want to tell you, Kavanaugh. You have released the whirlwind and you will pay the price. You won’t know what hit you!”

It is unknown if the man attempting to assassinate Justice Kavanaugh was in the mob being incited by Schumer. It is also unknown if the assassin at anytime met with Schumer or any of Schumer’s staff. What is clearly known…the man acted in accordance with Schumer’s encouragement and direction.

At this time no charges are expected to be filed against Schumer or any of his staff in the plot to assassinate Justice Kavanaugh.

As I have been warning about for a very long time…the radical left, at the direction of the authoritarians, have been very violent and will continue to hatch plots of more violence, murders, and assassinations. Their intent is to create chaos, confusion, and enough violence and fear that US citizens will cry out for “safety & peace” and “law & order.” This will allow the authoritarians to implement even more eliminations of rights, freedoms, and liberties of US citizens.

I encourage you to be prepared to defend yourself, your family, your home, your community, and your congregations. But, do not be part of any militia or take part in any demonstration/protests/rallies, etc. Said participation could quickly turn to a point were violence erupts and you are caught up in the violence, or brought into a situation where you are wrongly found to be part of instigating the violence.

Do not be overly alarmed at this attempted assassination attempt. This is all part of the authoritarians’ plan and they want a knee-jerk reaction, they want panic, they want fear, and they will use it against you and others who share your values. I have been warning you about this for a long time.

But understand this…this is another attack of the authoritarians, carried out by the radical leftists (i.e. Democrats), against our Constitutional Republic and a civil society. They are destroying the country one step at a time. They are planning more attacks, many more. Be prepared.

The Fall of the U.S. Empire

This is the second standalone article carved out of the May 2022 SitRep. Why a standalone article?

I was talking with a long-time friend last night. And yes, for the record…I have friends. With this particular friend…45 years of really good friendship.

As we were talking we discussed the 7 part May 2022 SitRep…she loved it, thought it was well presented, good editing, and the research was excellent. But she had a criticism…a valid one…the 7 part article was over 18,000 words. And the average person would need a little over an hour to read all of them…or about 10 minutes per part. Too much time!!

So after I got over being truly offended that people would object to spending an hour reading my most excellent series of article(s) I realized she was correct. I decided that there was critical information that I needed/wanted to share with you folks. So here it is…

For years, lots of years, I have been studying history…including great empires. And I am sure you are aware as well of the rise/fall of empires, the Roman Empire is a prime example. And I am sure that you have made, or read, about the comparison of the USA to the rise and fall of other empires. Well, it is true, proven by fact, well documented, and shown beyond a shadow of a doubt that the USA is on the same track. How close to the “fall” we are has been hotly debated for a while now. I personally believe we are close, very close, to the “fall” as an empire.

First of all let’s get this out of the way…if you think the USA is not an “empire” then you are either ignorant or a reality and truth denier.

Now, the most researched, documented, and clearly written information regarding empires that I have ever seen has been produced by a guy by the name of Dalio. He went into factual scientific detail, extreme detail, regarding the rise and fall of the great empires in the last 500 years. So let’s start with this…a chart that shows the life-cycle of an empire:Yeah, this chart represents exactly and factually what all empires go through…its called their empire life-cycle. Does anything look familiar?

Then we can review how all the empires have cycled in the last 500 years:

But that looks a bit confusing, so let’s boil it down to the top 4 empires:

Notice which empire is rising and which is falling?

Just gotta throw a couple more charts in there. Next one is rise/fall based on the global reserve status of an empire’s currency.

Notice which empire is rising and which is falling?

Next are the eight factors that empire’s rise/fall curves were based on and their place in the empire’s life-cycle.

Is this clear yet?

There is a variable factor that has come into play throughout the 500 years, but most notably in the last 100 years…technology. The technology of today is accelerating the curves, both the rise and fall ended of the curves.

The United States of America is an empire…an empire is steep decline. That statement is factual, based in reality, founded on history, and well researched empirical scientific evidence. Worse yet, nothing will occur that will or can stop the fall…it is already occurring…and the USA will complete the collapse. Again, that too is based on fact and historical evidence.

Here we see the status of 9 areas of importance controlling the rise and fall of the US Empire:

The only trait that is consistently rising over the last 30 years is the US military. And that is because our endless wars and the military-industrial complex grip on the government and our desperate gasp to be relevant in the world.

In the following two charts we see where the US Empire is in relation to the modern Chinese Empire:

Here is the key and the point to all of this…why do you think that the US Federal Government has started the revolution that I talked about in Part #2? Why do you think they are intentionally creating chaos, mayhem confusion, hate, violence, pitting once group against another, etc.?

The powers behind the monstrosity that is called the US federal government know the United States empire is falling and will collapse, they are simply implementing a plan (revolution/civil war) for that which is to rise from the ashes of that coming fall. And I am telling you now…it ain’t no Constitutional Republic they plan to resurrect.

Now:

  1. Do you recognize fact, do you accept scientific evidence, do you believe in proven historical datum?
  2. Do you see what they are planning for the USA, and why, after it collapses as an empire?
  3. Do you have a plan on what to do about it or how to cope with the fall?
  4. Have you talked it through with your family, your community, and your congregation?
  5. Do you even know anyone else who accepts this information or believes similar to you?
  6. What will you do going forward now that this is staring you right in the face?

USA’s divine origins…Yes, I believe the Founding Fathers when they talk about the US being founded with divine help from God. The Declaration of Independence uses the very terms “God”, “Creator”, “Supreme Judge”, and “divine Providence.” So yes, the United States of America was founded, in whole or in part, by God for His purposes.

Does God guarantee that America will survive or operates with his blessing today? I can’t find a single inspired source that says that. And I believe that any country such as America that kills nearly 1 million unborn babies per year is not, and will not, receive the blessing of our Father in Heaven.

Now for an extremely important point that I have to make; and it is critical to everything I have talked about and that I will talk about going forward. Not understanding the next statement will jade opinions of everything I’ve written in terms of the US Empire and its fall, a war mongering people, etc. So here goes…

There is no comparison between the people of the United States and the federal government of the United States. The government of the United States is completely corrupt, decadent, and its leaders totally depraved lusting only after power and money. It follows no eternal truths, acts against the best interests of its citizens, and performs abhorrent acts of evil. The US federal government has abandoned the rule of law, turned away from the Constitution, no longer recognizes natural God-given rights, or respects rights guaranteed through the Bill of Rights.

On the other hand, as a people, citizens of the United States are some of the most warm, friendly, compassionate, and giving people in the world. Global statistics show that to be 100% true. One only needs to travel to the mid-west or localities that are church-centered to see that this is true. Granted liberal run states are far less so, but still as a country, we are a good and decent people. Not near as much as we once were, but still on the positive side of the scale.

But let me be clear…the US federal government doesn’t mirror the positive qualities of its citizens. And to be quite honest…the federal government it doing its very, very best to crush the good and decent people of the US into oblivion. Why? So no one looks to fellow citizens for decency or help…they look only to the federal government for answers and solutions. Thus becoming serfs to the authoritarians. They seek to crush any form of self-reliance…temporal or spiritual.

Yes, there are a few decent people at the federal political level, but damn few…probably could count them on one hand…maybe. Virtually all politicians and bureaucrats prefer compromise vs consensus, power vs liberty, regulations vs freedoms, controls vs rights, wealth vs fairness, politics vs principles, and authoritarianism vs a Constitutional Republic.

So please don’t confuse the qualities of people in the US vs the immorality of the government of the US. The problem lies in the fact that the people no longer control the government…and people fear the government.

money and power used by the federal government creates tyranny at the loss of rights and freedom.Bottom line…

  1. As a government the US federal government has fallen into decay, ruthless tyranny, and is totally debauched.
  2. As an empire the US is falling fast and the crash cannot be prevented. What rises from its ashes will be much, much worse than what exists today.
  3. You must have a plan on what you are to do, how you are to do it, and with whom you will do it. Failure to do so ensures failure of the worst kind.

Answer: What should I do?

Her suggestion was to take the “answers” part and make it a standalone article for folks to read…about 4 – 5 minutes. Then include links to the rest of the parts if a person was interested.

She is one smart lady so I will take her advice…and here it is…

My response to the question, “What should I do?”

  1. FIRST and FOREMOST – In order to stay alive and out of prison do not participate in violence of any kind. Do not attend protests, demonstrations, or any kind of rally. At this point in time all of these have the real potential to turn violent. Do not get involved in those activities! Don’t even talk about committing violence no matter how patriotic it may sound. When you are around people do not allow them to talk about committing violence, or even advocating for it. If they do, then tell them you will have no part in it and leave. Why? Same as I have told you before…the federal law enforcement agencies have agents or informers in every militia in the US and any other group they see as a threat. They will look for and find any reason to arrest and imprison anyone they can. And if that can’t find a reason they will manufacture one as they have done so numerous times. Stay away from any anti-government style violence or discussion of such…period!
  2. Have a clear set of core principles that you believe in no matter what. If you don’t already have them, develop that set of core principles. Those principles must be based on both temporal (i.e. US Constitution & Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence, etc.) and spiritual concepts (i.e. 10 Commandments, the Sermon on the Mount, etc.). Make the decision to stand by those principles no matter what, and then do not compromise those principles. When challenged, do not shrink from defending those principles using sound reasoning, logic, and compassionate understanding of others.
  3. Clearly see the magnitude of the problem and the utter enormity of the collapse that has already occurred and more which is coming…and stay situationally aware. Focus on knowing what is going on in the country and world from only trusted sources of information. But, do not become obsessed over current events, ignore all non-trustworthy sources of information, stay away from those promoting conspiracy theories, avoid “fear porn”, and do not give time to the “static” in life.
  4. Be willing to have am emergency preparedness plan, make a plan, and be committed to work that plan. The plan must be based on solid, practical, and proven concepts of emergency preparedness. The plan must cover all areas of threats/risks and above all, it must be realistic.
  5. Forget acting globally, forget acting nationally, but do act locally. Be involved in your family, community, congregation, and possibly at the state level (if you feel prompted to do so). It is highly likely that you can have no impact at the global or national level to right this sinking ship…so don’t waste your time, talents, efforts, or resources on that pointless effort. Stay focused and engaged where you can make a difference. Start at the smallest/lowest possible level and then expand from there. Concentrate on where you can be both active and effective in your ability to help others. Serve.
  6. Do not be part of political party politics and do not support any political party platform. Advocate, support, and advance only your principles as outlined in #2 regardless of politics or political parties. Push forward the sound principles that you have formed when you are involved in your community. Do not compromise those principles. Seek consensus not compromise. When you vote, vote for the candidate whose principles and ideas match yours regardless of political party affiliation. Do not donate your money to any political party; you have no true knowledge of what they are doing with that money.
  7. Talk about emergency preparedness whenever appropriate to get as many people aware as possible. But, do not show your preps to anyone and do not be specific regarding the extent of your preps.
  8. Gently, quietly, without fanfare, find others who think and act as you do. Start a moderate conversation regarding emergency preparation in general terms. Gauge their response, move forward if there is common ground, but do so only in small steps. Know who you are talking to. As trust and confidence grows move the conversation to mutual support and assistance in your emergency preparedness endeavors. A good place to start would be at church. But, don’t assume that just because they are fellow church goers that they share all of your preparedness beliefs or share your core principles.
  9. Do everything you can to be as independent of all levels of government as possible, especially the federal government. Think “self-reliance” in every aspect of your life.
  10. Be willing and committed to defending yourself, your family, your principles, and your community against all threats that would jeopardize those principles or the safety of those you love and have joined with.
  11. Have “realistic expectations” of yourself and your family when it comes to emergency preparedness. It would be wonderful to be 100% prepared for any emergency that might come your way…but that is 100% unrealistic. Do the best you can with what you have…and that is good enough. Focus your time and resources on that which is the greatest risk/threat against you and your family, solve that, and then move on to the next item. Work your plan but do not become obsessive.

I apologize if you were expecting some great “silver bullet” solution. But I don’t apologize if you were expecting me tell you to join a militia, take up arms, revolt, become an Alexander Hamilton, etc. These times are not those that cry out for violence as our Founding Fathers did after decades of trying to solve the problems with England. If you are drawn towards violence at this point, a repeat of the 1/6 disaster, etc. then I am not your guru, I don’t have your answers.

What we need in this country right now is civility, compassion, willingness to serve, level-headedness, calm, and people determined to be prepared for emergencies, disasters, and grid-down. We need people who Preparedness Communitycan reach out to their families, their communities & neighbors, and their congregations with helping hands. We need people with strong principles, or at least those willing to embrace strong righteous principles, willing to stand-up for those principles, and then share them with others in a calm and gentle manner.

Look at what the federal government is doing, what bureaucrats are doing, what politicians are doing, and how they are behaving and what their position related actions are. We need good people doing the exact opposite. We need good people doing good things for the right reasons, helping and serving others. Embrace selflessness…abandon selfishness.

The best way, actually the only way, to fight evil is to fight it with good. And you must be that source of good. For this is truly a struggle of good vs evil. Right now evil is wining on a global and national level for the most part. But that can and will change. I am asking you, imploring you, to be part of that good that makes that change.

Now, just for clarification…I am not advocating that you not physically defend yourself or your family against threats and acts of violence. You have a God-given right to defend yourself and you have a responsibility mandated by God to defend and protect your family. And I urge you to take both of those responsibilities seriously, as seriously as you need to…only you can make that judgement as to what degree.

This is not a month long struggle, not even a year long struggle; it may not be resolved even in your lifetime. But, you are part of the solution, today’s solution, tomorrow’s solution…be the part of the solution that you need to be.

The Real Second Amendment!

I’ve written about this before…but I feel the need to lay it all out one more time. I hope you find it enlightening and helpful…or maybe it will just confirm what you already knew to be true.

Never has a subject been more important than this subject, at this time, in this country, for a whole host of reasons. But, there is one serious and significant reason that you must know and understand regarding the Second Amendment.

So here is the Second Amendment…

Background –

When the Constitution was written and formerly accepted there was heated debate about “rights” in general, and specific rights not being clearly laid out and included as part of the Constitution. So the Founders came up a list of rights which was ratified less than a year after the ratification of the Constitution. Those first ten amendments were designed to protect the basic rights of U.S. citizens, they were unalienable, inviolate and absolute…they are called the Bill of Rights.

So why was the Bill of Rights so important to the Founders and the citizens of the new, post-revolution United States of America?  Because the colonists had lived under government cruelty, they knew oppression, they had to endure a despotic ruler, they knew what a corrupt legislature was, and they knew that power would eventually corrupt the leadership of their Constitutional Republic. And they were determined to ensure that US citizens would never have to endure the malevolence of a corrupt and powerful central government.

They knew that the British Empire had been able to rule over them in the most oppressive of terms due to one thing…power…virtually absolute power. And it was the might of the British Army that assured colonists’ subjugation to whatever burden the British rulers heaped upon them. During the time that the British ruled the American colonies the British Empire maintained a large standing army presence in the colonies. The British army role however went beyond what we think of a traditional army in today’s world, the British army was also the central government’s law enforcement agency as well.

And a reminder…the colonial British Army was the strongest, most professional, most technologically advanced, and most powerful army in the world.

Militias –

To prevent a recurrence of this absolute subjugation of a country’s populace the Founders took steps to prevent a repeat in the newly formed of government. First, the Founders made it clear there was to be no standing army. They knew all too well the threat a standing army was to rights, freedoms, and liberties. They knew that a standing army was the hammer that would allow a central/federal government to become absolute in terms of power and authority. To curtail that threat the military was put into the hands of the various states in the form of militias.

So militias were the “army” of the new United States…formed locally by average citizens and controlled by state Governors. Now, if “war” was declared by Congress at the request of the President then the federal government could request from state Governors that their militias be federalized. Thus becoming the US Army under the country’s Commander-in-Chief and able to defend the USA.

However, a Governor could deny any such request for its militias. This was the “check & balance” against a strong federal government imposing its will on US citizens and using a standing army to enforce such will. (Article 3, Section 2)

If you doubt any of that…research it…and especially pay attention to all of the quotes by our Founding Fathers regarding a standing army.

Let me make this easy to understand:

  • We now have a large standing army that is the most powerful in the world.
  • That same standing army has been used against US citizens on numerous occasions.
  • That same standing army has killed US citizens on numerous occasions, including its own veterans.
  • Today’s large standing army is 1/2 of the military-industrial complex that has been in existence since post-Civil War. The same military-industrial complex that President Eisenhower went to great lengths to warn us about.
  • In addition to the standing army, there are over 700,000 heavily armed paramilitary federal law enforcement officers in the US. (note: this makes United States federal LEOs the world’s 7th largest army, slightly smaller than Russia’s entire army.)
Right to Bear Arms –

Now we understand why militias were so important to the Founding Fathers that they enshrined that concept and right in the Constitution itself via the Bill of Rights. But, if a militia was to be an army to defend the US it had to be well-armed. Armed well enough to conduct war…and win.

Once again we only have to look at history to understand that concept/principle. At the outbreak of the American Revolution the average American frontiersman, farmer, and many town-based colonial citizens were as well armed as the average British soldier…and in most cases, far better armed with better rifles. Many backwoods and frontier colonials would also normally carry a pistol, knife, and tomahawk in addition to their rifle. This additional weaponry would make them far better armed than even the elite of the British Army soldiers. For additional clarification…colonists were armed with the latest technology of the day when it came to weapons.

And as citizens formed militias they would often have the latest in the most powerful weapons of the day as well…cannons and mortars.

The Founding Fathers, desiring no standing army but a militia base, had to ensure that US citizens could have weapons sufficient to wage wars, carry the fight to the enemy, and win. To guarantee that US citizens could always meet that challenge the Founders ensured that US citizens would always have that inviolate right. Hence, the clear, absolute, and unambiguous wording of the “right to bear arms” contained in the Second Amendment.

So the Second Amendment was a clear and strong statement that neither the right to bear arms or of the right of militias could be “infringed.” And if you look up the word infringed it too is very clear and concise…NOTHING could interfere with those two rights in any way…no law, no regulation, no rule, no Executive Order…NOTHING!

And that means it is an “absolute right” regardless of any other opinion to the contrary, enforceable by the Supreme Court should it ever be infringed.

Actually, any opinion or action to the contrary is proof positive showing a person to be either ignorant or an authoritarian…and in both cases they are in direct opposition to the Constitution. And should they be an authoritarian they want only one thing…a totalitarian state with absolute power. Should they be ignorant…then they were a useful idiot…a tool…nothing more.

Summary –

The US federal government, with the help of both Democrats and Republicans, have been very, very successful at dismantling the Second Amendment. Yes, both parties and virtually all politicians have worked tirelessly to utterly destroy the Second Amendment. And for the most they already have…half of it is already destroyed…the other half…almost…they are working hard to finish their task.

Do we have a large and powerful standing army?

Do we have a large standing paramilitary force in the form of federal law enforcement agencies?

Do we have strong state & local militias, controlled by Governors?

Actually, if you are a member of a “militia” how are you viewed by the US federal government law enforcement community?

And, do we have restrictions, regulations, rules, requirements, and laws that infringed on the right to own state-of-the-art personal weaponry (i.e. right to bear arms)?

Well, therein lies the proof of where we are today. And going forward anyone, ANYONE, that supports gun right restrictions is either ignorant or an authoritarian. Both are a grave threat to a Constitutional Republic.

You see, the Founding Fathers also had one other concept in mind with the whole Second Amendment thing. They knew that sooner or later the US federal government would become so corrupt that the people, US citizens, had to retain the ability to throw off the oppression, overcome the tyranny, and restore a Constitutional Republic’s rights, liberties, and freedoms in full.

Simply read the Declaration of Independence to understand that idea and right. And for more information on that subject you need but only to research the quotes of the Founding Fathers.

And to correct the problem of a despotic or totalitarian government when all else failed…the people had to be well-armed, trained, and part of a militia to throw off the government of authoritarians.

So now you can understand why the current US federal government, the politicians, federal law enforcement agencies, the federal bureaucrats, do not want militias and do not want a well-armed citizenry. They want to rule supreme and unchallengeable with absolute power…a totalitarian utopia.

In closing…know history…

Authoritarian(ism)

In this article I decided to identify “authoritarians” for all my political related articles going forward. Why? Because there are two basic forces at play today in America, and on the broader global stage, politically speaking. It is a struggle to decide if mankind can live according to God’s will (i.e. rights, freedoms, and liberties) or be forced to live as government decrees (authoritarianism).

Before I give my opinion of the definition of authoritarian I need to provide background on where that definition came from. And the best way to do so is to explain the diametric opposite.

In the late 1600’s the defining of a political thought developed that stated political authority is that which is necessary to protect the person and property of individuals and to guarantee their natural rights to freedom of thought, speech, worship, life, liberty, property, and to live life as they choose. This new political concept was developed and championed by John Locke, who is considered to be the grandfather of the American Declaration of Independence and the founding principles behind the United States Constitution.

Significantly to consider is Locke thought that revolution is justified when the sovereign fails to fulfill these obligations. The new political set of principles is referred to as classical liberalismNOT the liberal ideology of today’s political world. The aim of the early classical liberals was to limit the power of government over the individual while holding that same central government accountable to the governed.

Traits of classical liberalism are:

  • Negative powers to tightly restrict and control that which government can do,
  • Separation of powers in government plus checks and balances to restrain government authority and control,
  • Individuals are not only citizens who share a social contract with each other but also people with rights upon which the state may not encroach,
  • Rights involve the right to speak and write freely, the freedom to associate and organize and, above all, freedom from fear of reprisal from agents of the government or the government itself,
  • Individuals also have rights apart from their roles as citizens. These rights secure their personal safety and hence their protection from arbitrary arrest and punishment,
  • Beyond rights as citizens and individuals are those rights that also preserve large areas of privacy,
  • Economic competition (free-markets & free-trade) unrestrained by government.

Some traits that are in opposition to classical liberalism:

  • Military might and supremacy, a standing army,
  • National/central government’s intervention to determine prices,
  • Protection of industries from foreign competition,
  • Assumption of power/authority not specifically outlined in a constitution.
  • Any restriction on any natural rights of the individual.

Bottom line: Classical liberalism is a political ideology that favors the protection of individual liberty and economic freedom by limiting government power. Classical liberals favor negative rights to the extent that governments and other people should not be allowed to interfere with the free market or natural individual freedoms/rights. Our Founding Fathers were classical liberals and the US founding principles originated from classical liberalism. The Declaration of Independence was a rendition of classical liberalism to explain our separation from tyranny…and our revolution to do so. The US Constitution and the Bill of Rights were based on these same classical liberal principles with a view to never again live under tyranny…a strong federal government with a standing army to enforce it dictates.

Now, back to “authoritarian”…

First, some synonyms – strict, severe, demanding, controlling, rigid, and dictatorial.

Next, dictionary definitions –

  1. A Political system characterized by or favoring absolute obedience or subjugation to authority, vs individual freedoms, liberties, and rights. Tending to tell other people what to do in a peremptory or arrogant manner.
  2. Political system/practice in which individual freedom is held subordinate to the power or authority of the government. And said power is centered either in one person or a small group that is not wholly accountable to the rule of law or the people they hold power over.
  3. Expecting or requiring people to obey rules or laws while not allowing, or tightly controlling, personal freedoms.

Here are common traits of authoritarian regimes:

  • Strong central government to preserve the political status quo,
  • Reductions in the rule of law over time, or all at once,
  • Reduction in, or blurring of, the central government’s separation of powers,
  • Limited political party affiliation options, and/or the promotion of limited party affiliation options,
  • Government leadership appeals to the emotions of the populace,
  • Considered a necessary evil to correct recognizable societal problems,
  • Suppression of anti-government activities through coercion or force,
  • Ill-defined executive powers, often vague and shifting, extends the power of the executive, with limited or no accountability to the governed,
  • Takes to itself power without a consensus of the people,
  • The press and others means of expression are controlled by the government, and/or media is in cooperation with the government,
  • Utilizes resources of the authoritarian system to perpetuate the government in power, suppressing anti-government ideology or discourse through aggression and physical repression, even killing people who rise up,
  • Strong standing army, large law enforcement presence, and paramilitary units.

Personality traits of authoritarian personalities:

  1. They believe in a static, unwavering set of rules about power and control, submission, and obedience. This is almost always linked to fascism and a genuine perception that some people are weak, and others are strong – that some should rule, and others should follow.
  2. They have a need to control as a first attribute. A dominant, aggressive, and intolerant person who cannot accept people different from themselves – whether in the way they work, their lifestyle, or their own belief systems. Individuals who must be in control at all times and crave power and authority.
  3. They tend to hate. Not hate as an emotion but a position, an attitude toward life.
  4. They need to control others and those they cannot control they have a strong need to punish.
  5. They are regularly assaultive and violent, especially in groups of people with similar beliefs.
  6. They want their victims to fear them; they are bullies.
  7. They have quixotic and unclear rules making it easy to punish others for breaking rules.
  8. They act as if they’re being continually threatened and endangered.
  9. They have little regard for the truth. The truth of any particular matter/issue is a mere inconvenience when they want to force their agenda on others.
  10. They take pleasure in cruelty and they regularly shame, deride, and ridicule their current targets. To control is not enough; to win is not enough; to dominate is not enough: none of that is experienced/seen as enough. The authoritarian wants you harmed and diminished. Since nothing feels quite as bad as shame, it is shame especially that the authoritarian wants you to feel.
  11. They are regularly “into your personal business” especially in economic, very personal, or intimate matters.
  12. Those who genuinely believe themselves to be superior to others without having a tangible or quantifiable reason for this superiority complex.
  13. People who will be very fast to judge and condemn anybody who disagrees, they are intolerant of other ideas or those who advocate less rigid ideologies.
  14. They thrive on fear, power, and control – deeming anybody of whom they do not ‘approve’ to be a threat that should be negated or eliminated.
  15. They cannot listen to any opinion other than their own, cannot reason, explain their thought processes, or rationalize their belief systems coherently.

Now that we have explored all of that information and created an objective and accurate picture of authoritarian regimes and who the real authoritarians are, what I would like to do now is look as some political positions to identify who, in our current political environment, may be the authoritarian…and a threat to rights, liberties, and freedoms that our Founding Fathers so passionately believed in. Political stances that almost always indicate authoritarian beliefs:

  1. The federal government building a strong economy vs free market, free trade system.
  2. Implementing social or environmental justice vs supporting the rule of law.
  3. Referring to or claiming that the USA is a democracy vs a Constitutional Republic.
  4. Forcing any program on a citizen or the wider society; including healthcare, education, building codes/requirements, social safety nets, social programs, minimum wage, etc.
  5. Favoring any industry over another; such as solar vs fossil fuel, electric cars combustion engine cars, solar power plants vs natural gas power plants, bank vs credit union, etc.
  6. Defining “rights” outside of Constitutional wording, especially when such actions favor one group over another.
  7. Any invasion of privacy that circumvents Constitutional due process or the boarder right to privacy.
  8. Any restrictions, limitations, or elimination of rights guaranteed by the Constitution or Bill of Rights.
  9. Support for permanent alliances with foreign governments.
  10. Support for a standing army vs militias at the state and local levels.
  11. Support for “law enforcement” vs peace officer; or support of any law enforcement agency at the federal level not specifically authorized by the Constitution.
  12. Believers in strict, stringent, or absolute “law & order”; including the use of the military to perform law enforcement functions, especially at the state or local levels.
  13. Support for any restriction of freedom of speech, freedom of religion, freedom to peacefully gather, or any other right guaranteed by the US Constitution or the bill of Rights.
  14. Support for income tax, especially income tax that is progressive favoring one group at the expense of another. Any tax that supports any government activity that is not specifically outlined/authorized in the US Constitution.
  15. Support for any restrictions on citizens that prevent or hinder the ability of those people to throw off a government who is a destructive force of natural/unalienable rights.
  16. Supporter of torture or “enhanced interrogation” methods, Civil Asset Forfeiture, FISA courts, any law that acts outside of Constitutional bounds, restrictions of any associated rights, liberties, and freedoms.
  17. Supporter of states being subservient to a strong central/federal government vs acting as a check and balance to federal government power.

And that is just a partial list, there is more, much more…but this list will give you an idea of where to look and how to potentially think about it.

So why do I write this? It started with the mass-shooting in Buffalo and became strongly and clearly evident after the mass-shooting of children in Ulavde, TX. I was doing research into what actually took place, the facts and evidence. I listened to a long list of politicians doing their well-worn diatribes on gun-control. Nothing new…restrict guns, ban gun, ban high-capacity magazines, assault weapons are evil, etc. All of which are in direct violation of the Second Amendment, as are all current gun restriction laws.

The Second Amendment is clear…

Notice the wording is clear, unambiguous, and simple in its entirely. And please note the use of commas to ensure a true and complete understanding of the intent of the Constitutional writers.

Article VI, Clause 2 of the US Constitution is more commonly known as the Supremacy Clause. Meaning, that the US Constitution is the supreme law of the land. When a right is specifically stated in US Constitution no state can create legislation that enacts a law that negates or restricts that Constitutional right.

In this particular situation, the Second Amendment, according to the US Constitution itself, ensures that no state can create any law or other restriction on owning or carrying a gun. Well, at least according to the actual principles, original writing, and intent of the US Constitution and Founding Fathers.

So I came across a very recent interview with a certain Republican Senator from the west who is considered by many Conservatives and Republicans to be a stalwart of, defender of, and advocate for freedom, liberty, rights, and the Constitution. Well, well, well…he started talking about gun rights…and he never referred to the actual wording in the Second Amendment…at all!!! He went on and on about what commonsense restrictions should be…yes, he advocated for and supported “restrictions” at the federal, state, and even local levels.

What is a “restriction” of a right? An “infringement” of a right. And the Second Amendment says “…shall not be infringed.” It couldn’t be more clear to a believer in the US Constitution…and couldn’t be more muddy to a true believer in authoritarianism. And that muddy water gives them plenty of room to implement their version of control over citizens.

I was not surprised. Leaders and members of both parties supporting restrictions of gun rights…just in varying degrees of unconstitutionality.

For me it brought into clarity the single pervasive problem in America today…the rise of, dominance Police State Militarization Of Policeof, support of, and the winning of authoritarianism. Any clear headed and reasonable person who understands the nature of, and the natural outcome of, authoritarianism would/should oppose it…ALL of it. That would be especially true for anyone who claims any attachment to, or claim of, Christianity.

The only people I could see who would support traits or principles of authoritarianism would be those who would benefit from it. And those are the folks who want absolute control over others, and the elimination of freedoms, rights, and liberties.

As I have been writing for years now I see the utter evil in political parties. I am in good company with George Washington, I took him at his word…and proved his warning to be 100% true. Neither the Democrats nor Republicans have maintained rights, liberties and freedoms outlined in the Constitution. Neither party has controlled the growth of government, nor enacted/restored free markets and free trade, or maintained Constitutional negative rights on the federal government. Both parties have given us huge budget deficits and a national debt that can never be repaid. Both parties supported gun control, both parties…I could go on for hours with this list.

What I have seen with 100% clarity are politicians from both sides closely matching the personality traits of an authoritarian and running their respective parties with platforms and deeds that match authoritarian principles.

And for those that may be supporters of a certain past president…please review the list of “Personality traits of authoritarian personalities” in purely objective terms.

So as of today I am no longer referring to Democrats vs Republicans, liberals vs Conservatives, Progressives vs Conservatives, Communist vs American, Marxist, etc. From this point forward there are only those people with beliefs in authoritarianism and those who don’t. And those who believe, in whole or in part, in authoritarianism are the problem because authoritarianism is evil, pure evil.

Militarized police, police stateA way to judge my meaning…the Founding Fathers were not believers in authoritarianism. They were however, classical liberals whose beliefs I have now fully embraced without reservation. Why? Because I believe they most closely match eternal God-given truths and principles.

What I ask of you is two-fold:

First – Review your own beliefs to see if you have authoritarian traits or support authoritarian principles.

Second – Review ALL politicians and any political party for their support of authoritarian principles.

That being done…decide if you want to embrace, or at least support, authoritarianism. Because folks, right now in the USA…we live under authoritarianism. It may not be absolute or 100% complete yet, but it is well above 90% and closing the gap quickly. And every time you put politics over principle you support and encourage closing that gap. And I see that gap slammed closed between now and 2024.

Meaning…you either support authoritarianism…or you oppose it. There is no in between. Evil is evil…period!

Choose you this day who you will serve.

Note: If you are wondering why I wrote and posted this article instead of the next installment of the May 2022 SitRep…well, to understand what is coming in rest of the SitRep you have to understand my position regarding authoritarianism. And you must have come to some conclusion on where you stand with it.

Pre-SitRep Article: Root Cause

In preparation for the upcoming SitRep I am posting this article for your reference. I want you to read it, think seriously about it, and then decide where you are in regards to your answer. It is important for you to know where you stand on this issue before anything else will make sense…and the future our country more clear.

Think about our crisis’s that we face today as a country…but think about it in a different way…outside of the conventional boxes:

  1. Baby formula shortage – It is widely known that store shelves are mostly devoid of baby formula…in some areas as much as 75% shortage. The US federal government has declared itself the solution to the problem of the shortage of baby formula in the US. The US government program WIC (Women, Infants & Children) distributes as much as 50 – 67% (given any particular year) of all baby formula in the US, it was the FDA that denied non-US formula producers from importing their products to the US for decades, it was the FDA that shut down the single major baby formula producer in the US, and it was US government that redirected hundreds, possibly thousands, of pallets of baby formula to the US southern border, stored in US government warehouses, to be given away free to illegal aliens by US government employees.
  2. Economic crisis – The US economy is a disaster and getting worse as you well know. The US Federal Reserve, private banking system authorized by the US government, is taking steps to “fix” the economic problems. The US Federal Reserve, private banking system authorized by the US government, printed tens of trillions of dollars over the last 15 years and gave it away to US banks, investment houses, and to foreign central banks around the world. The US Federal Reserve, private banking system authorized by the US government, reduced the interest rates to near zero flooding the economy with “easy money”. The US Federal Reserve, private banking system authorized by the US government, is raising interest rates economically killing businesses and individuals.
  3. Fuel (gas and diesel) crisis – The price of fuel in the US has more than doubled in the last 1.5 years (since the election of Biden) crippling/jeopardizing many parts of the supply chain, pushing more and more US families below the poverty line, devastating many families’ budgets and throwing a major part of the economy into a tailspin. The US federal government has said it will take steps, and has, to ease the problem…they have the solution. It was the US federal government that ceased leasing vital/key public lands for oil & gas development, it was the US federal government that canceled major pipeline projects in the US, it was the US government that made it almost impossible to build new refineries, it was the US federal government that stopped fracking on public lands, it was the US federal government that said they would destroy the fossil fuel industry.
  4. Energy grid crisis – The electric grid in many US states can no longer handle the demand for electricity stating there will be rolling blackouts and brownouts this summer. And worse, the US grid cannot handle the electric power demand going forward. It was the US federal government that stopped issuing permits for new nuclear generating plants, it was the US federal government that declared it would ruin the coal fired electricity generating industry, it was the US federal government that created unrealistic standards for new, or expanding, natural gas fired generating plants.
  5. COVID crisis of 2020/2021 – COVID devastated the US economy, killed many aspects of education, destroyed families, suicide among teens skyrocketed, and the supply chain fell apart. And of course who declared themselves the savior of world to cure the COVID crisis? Of course, the US government did. And strangely enough in a letter from the National Institutes of Health to Congress, and through detailed independent investigative journalism, showed that the Wuhan Institute of Virology from which the COVID virus is reported to have originated was funded with a research grant from…the US government National Institutes of Health.

And the list goes on and on! Is there a single crisis that the US faces right now…or even in the last 25 years…that the US federal government isn’t at the root of? Think about it…what crisis has there been that hasn’t been caused by the US government…even in your lifetime!

And let’s take a crisis that jeopardized, the aftereffects still does jeopardize, the Constitutional Republic like none other in history…a coup against the President of the United States; namely the coup against Trump that began after his election…and back in Mach of 2017 I revealed the coup against Trump and who the key players were.

Recap, while the coup to remove Trump from office failed, it did derail his work as President and was a primary reason for his problems in the 2020 election. And who was behind the coup? Much of the US federal government was in on it, but who was the tip of the spear leading the coup? The tip was easy to identify (by their own admission)…the head of the US government FBI, Director James Comey and the US government Director of National Intelligence James Clapper (click here to read more about the coup).

So let me ask a real simple question…Who exactly is at the root of the problems here in the US in regards to all of our major crisis issues? Asked another way…Who is creating the crises, the really serious problems in the US?

But, the question that you truly need to ask is…Why is the US government creating these extremely disastrous crisis situations? And then couple that to this thought…Notice that after the crisis manifests itself it is always the US government that says it has, or is, the solution.

And one final tidbit for you for some real clarity…9/11/2001.

Osama bin Laden was pretty clearly reported to be behind the terror attack that brought down the Twin Towers and killed thousands of people on 9/11/2002. And Osama ran the operation from Afghanistan.

Back in 1998 the US government had the opportunity to kill or capture bin Laden. The US government turned down that opportunity.

And before that…during the 1980’s the US government backed the Mujahideen against Russia in Russia’s war in Afghanistan. The US government trained the Mujahideen, funded them, armed them, and the CIA had operatives assist them. It was the Mujahideen who took control of, and leadership of, Afghanistan in the 1990’s allowing the 9/11 terrorists to train, organize, and lead the 9/11 attack and wage the wider wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria.

And what was the outcome of the 9/11 attacks on US citizens? Or should I ask more accurately…

What was the solution that the US federal government put forward and implemented after 9/11 and the ongoing terror threat?

The US government’s solution was the single most massive elimination of US citizen rights, liberties, and freedoms in the history of the United States. Including massive domestic spying programs and a huge increase in federal law enforcement dedicated to spying on, arresting, and imprisoning US citizens…and doing so outside the bounds of the Constitution. But it gets worse…baring failing in that mission, the US government gave itself the right to process rendition of US citizens to foreign countries for torturing. And worse of all…authorizing itself to outright kill US citizens by the CIA.

Yup, the US federal government has maintained since 2002 that the US federal government can kill any US citizen it so desires under the Authorization for the Use of Military Force (AUMF); commonly referred to as the “kill list” by federal government employees, military, US secret police agencies, and politicians.

Listen closely…as reported in 2020 through a court case and Snowden leaks, the US government is saying it can engage in extrajudicial (outside of the US judicial system) killings of US citizens and other non-terrorists. “We kill people based on metadata,” a former US government official exclaimed in response to those Snowden leaks.

Do you get that specific term in the statement…”metadata”????  How many times have we heard the US federal government claim that they only collect metadata not individual data? Yup, US federal authorities admit that they collect the data that they can use to kill US citizens.

Listen closely to a secret US government memo leaked during a federal appeals court case back in 2014 that outlines the president’s argument for the legal authority to kill a U.S. citizen who died in a controversial drone strike in 2011 in Yemen:

“We do not believe that U.S. citizenship imposes constitutional limitations that would preclude…lethal action under the facts represented to us.”

Now, what other questions come to mind regarding the United States Federal Government?

Read this article again if needed…then seriously contemplate the facts.

But as far back as President Reagan (over 40 years ago) it was clear who/what the problem was…I suggest it should be considered a “threat” not simply a problem. Please consider this…

“We have learned by sad experience that it is the nature and disposition of almost all men, as soon as they get a little authority, as they suppose, they will immediately begin to exercise unrighteous dominion.”
